Always on time and they don't leave trash laying around. Great value. Could use a bigger recycle bin.

This is the best waste service company I have ever had. They always show up and I have never had a single issue. I have watched them walk up my neighbors driveway and get his can when he forgot to put it out. I was already thinking of changing because the prior company I was using kept raising their prices without warning, and when I saw him go get the can, I called and started service right then. Saved a lot of money too! I've been with Ozark Refuse about 2 years now and the price has never changed. Cannot go wrong with this service! read more

Best company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I mean ANY company. Not a single problem with this company. The staff gets the job done right the first time which is so rare these days. Been with Ozark Refuse for years, best decision I've ever made! read more

As a landlord, I have worked with Ozark Refuse for many years and also require my tenants to use their residential trash service. Throughout that time, they have consistently provided dependable, timely service and have always been professional and responsive when assistance has been needed. read more

Person answering the phone has no idea what they are doing. They tell you your trash isnt out in time when I know for a fact it was. Any other trash company would offer to fix it in a timely matter, not make you wait for what youve been paying for. If 7:00 am is too early you should probably rethink your service route timing. Avoid this company and spend your hard earned fiat elsewhere. read more

Driving behind one of your trucks, I saw the driver hop out to walk up to a house and haul the trash dumpster down the driveway to dump after the homeowner had forgotten to set out the trash. So nice to see kindness and service more important than speed! read more

Great service! They've always been on time unless sudden weather changes occurred. The price is great. The lady I've talked to in the office has always been nice and returns my calls if I leave a message. I personally got about a dozen neighbors to switch from Rep. Svcs to Ozark Refuse... initially for the price savings, but most love the better service in addition to half the cost. Rep Svcs charges fuel surcharges based on national average of fuel, Oz. Refuse has no fuel surcharge. read more

These guys are the navy seal's of the trash industry. Elite. Great customer service. Easy to work with. Ozark Refuse is the best company in the 4 state area. Many people out of state say to me "my goodness, I wish Ozark refuse would drive to Montgomery, Alabama to pick my trash up." read more

I usually wait before posting a review but ozark Refuse deserves better than that. Called and set up services with no problem. The woman was kind (thank you!) and a breathe of fresh air in comparison to the last company we won't even give power to by naming. I called Wednesday. Thursday (today) the bin was here. But the best part is, whoever dropped it off was respectful of our property and brought it all the way up our driveway. It was kindly placed in between the 2 garage doors. Whoever you are.. thank you for the small kindness that goes a long way. $60 for 3 months is the cheapest in the area that I've found. Also the best customer service. I cannot say enough great things about this company and I'm only 2 days in. They certainly know how to make an impression!!! I would give more stars if I could! read more

I've had Ozark refuge for over a year and the last five weeks they haven't picked up my trash. They just refuse to because there's a little puddle at the end of my driveway. You're a trash man. Your job is to pick up the trash I pay you to pick up my trash and instead you just say that it's not out when it's out there I haven't even taken it back up to my house because they haven't picked it up so instead of fix they just decide that they're gonna cancel my service since I'm upset that they won't pick up my trash's not out there all right keep company ever go fuck please read more

I have been with them almost two years, they are always work with you, great customer service

When I moved to Springfield I was impressed that I recvd. a quick call back and a young lady who was very pleasant and outgoing. The team on the truck have been polite, accommodating, and clean about their work! Thank You Ozark Refuse Team I appreciate you all very much. read more

Ozark Refuse has never missed a week for pickup service. If there is bad weather or another difficulty=they post the schedule or I get a robo phone call. The service has been excellent over the years. The driver of our route has gone above and beyond on several ocassions-example of Victor's professionalism-I was in the hospital on multiple ocassions and my husband did not push the cart to the street. Victor was seen by neighbors getting off the truck and walking up to the side of the house to get the cart and then returning it to its place by the house. Victor is one heck of an employee-which makes Ozark the service to have--indeed! read more

Absolutely horrible company. Employees are hateful, will lie about why they don't pick up the trash. When you question them about it, they post lies on their facebook page. On top of all that, they refuse to refund the money that was paid in advance for services they never did. The only reason I gave the one star is because I couldn't give negative stars. I would much rather get a vasectomy from a drunken Edward Scissorhands than deal with this company. Do yourself a favor and find someone else - even Republic Services was better than this scam artist company. read more

Having been a customer for many years I can say it was a great ride for the 1st 10 yrs or so and then something seemed to change. Ozark refuse service is always great and always cheap until you have an issue, However these people have an issue with people who have an issue. After reading all the negative reviews, (And they have a bunch of them) I've come to the conclusion that like me, people subscribe to their service because they were the cheapest and left mostly because of the terrible customer Service. Most times you get what you pay for. I left this service for most of the reasons stated by other people without complaining to anyone. I just called and cancelled. I just wanted to avoid the drama ( read the review responses from the owner...nuff said) The take away being....it's a great product for the money until a problem arises. So this service could be good and could be bad. Just beware. read more

This company and owner is a joke. He threatens to come get the cart from us but refuses as his company name is (ozark refuse) to get the damn trash that has been sitting and adding to it for 3 weeks now! The tuff guy says he can come get the cart but also said they would be there today to pick it up and it's only 3pm. It's now 6:36pm and no sign of tuff guy and/or any of his trash trucks either. i really wish he was tuff in person just as tuff as his google types. He knows my address I gave it to him o his google review along with he services my address poorly. Oh well. I guess based off his other bad reviews im not the only customer with issues. Please stay clear of this douche bag as I have started a neighborhood cancel of his ass! read more

I replied to an email at 4:00 PM that was originally sent to me from Amanda Wilson earlier in the week because I knew they weren't in office. I called up there later this morning (Monday) because I never got a response. I was told "the driver came by around 2:30pm and didn't see my container" which was sitting by the curb. So I call up to ask when they will come get it but not once did they ever take responsibility of it. So I cancelled my service through them. I posted a review on Google and the response from the "owner" was unhinged in a way, saying they don't respond by email even though they emailed me first about something regarding my services. I looked back through other comments and this "owner" might be the toughest guy in the 417. Most unprofessional encounter I have had in a long time. You're a service company. Would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I've had other companies. Ozark is, by far, the best in this area. If I have extra trash I just let them know. They'll pick it up for a small fee. They've never missed picking up. read more

best trash service we've ever had! They're kind and respectful and do a great job picking up the trash when they're scheduled too.

This morning my trash and recycling was picked up, but my recycling bin was missing. I called them up, they said they didn't take it. I told them, in that case, it was stolen. They of course, don't bother putting serial numbers on their recycling bins like they do for their trash bins. They wanted to charge me $20. So I cancelled my recycling service. read more

Best trash service in the area! The drivers are friendly and efficient. Great customer service. The only time that my trash was "missed" was when I forgot to put it out on time. When there is a delay in services, the company posts on Facebook the reason for the delay and the schedule for when to expect pickup. Thank you, Ozark Refuse! read more

We have been with Ozark Refuse for almost 4 years and have never had a problem. They have been efficient, attentive and communicative with us. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE people. They didn't pick up my trash three weeks in a row because the driver claimed they couldn't get down the street because there were work trucks on the road. Funny how I have camera footage of other trash trucks moving up and down my street all day long with no issues. And now this week when they didn't pick up my trash they claimed it wasn't there which is absolute bull! Their drivers are lazy, they never answer the phone, never call back, and are absolutely vile to their customers. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE read more

I would Not Recommend This Trash Service To Anyone! Where I work there is road construction going on in the street so we All working in this Building have to use the back gate to get in. This is in Springfield Mo. My trash was to be picked up on Tuesday May 23rd, Their EXCUSE was they drivers could not get into the parking lot. Funny how Queen City Trash figured it out. I called and called and on Friday I called it still had not been picked up and was told it would be picked up before the holiday Weekend. Well needless to say this did not happen. And because they Couldn't Figure out how to get in this parking lot, our trash ended up being scattered all over the parking lot along with Our Neighbors who use them as well. I am going to go elsewhere for service. Very Poor Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

My trash was not picked up this week. I called and they said they had a substitute driver. She offered me a credit for this week. Great service. I used other trash services in the past where this situation would have been, "Oh well, too bad!" read more

We have been very pleased with Ozark Refuse. Happy to do business with a locally owned company.

I have been with Ozark Refuse for al.ost 2 years now. They are affordable. If they are off schedule due to weather or a holiday, they post the reschedule time on Facebook. They never ding me for extra charges. They never leave my trash on the curb not picked up like the other companies. If they are busier than usual or have an unscheduled delay or breakdown, they might show up a lot later in the day, but I've never had a bad experience with them. I love their service. read more

We used this company for over 4 years. We had our trash can stolen off our property and instead of making it right the company wanted us to pay for a replacement. Really nice to know they value their customers. Leave business to professionals. read more

Been with Ozark Refuse since 2017. The guys are doing their best, and are always pleasant. Imagine a world without the trash pickup! THANK YOU! read more

I just read another review that had the exact same thing happen as them. Our trash can was stolen and when I called asking for help, they said everything on my account was fine, but it would be $100 for a replacement. The woman on the phone told me to check my neighbors, and she said that there wasn't serial number for my can. My neighbors didn't steal it, and if anything I think the truck driver forgot to put it back after dumping it, but that's not my fault and I won't be paying for a replacement. read more

Have had two instances in the past month or so that this vendor has not picked up our trash. The first time, I called in and they advised me that the failure to pick it up was due to the trash being filled with 'yard waste' which they defined as brush or rubbish/hedge clippings; I often work from home so I went out and checked and this was of course not the case. That time they at least arranged redelivery, but it put me off a little that they were willing to just accuse me of that without checking... or that they did and received a falsified report. This time round, they mused at the perplexity that they had missed the same spot more than once but indicated they wouldn't come out a second time for pick up citing their heavy workload. I would rather them pick up my garbage than feed me a line of it read more

They bill you for months you've already paid for, easily proven by my bank account. Will be spreading the bad word.

They don't answer the phone when you call during business hours, you get to play phone tag. They do not give notice when they increase the rates, my service randomly jumped from 68 to 90 every three months, which is when I decided to go with another company. It took days to get ahold of someone, my service was canceled on Nov 4, it's Dec 15 and the can is still sitting in my driveway. I left a detailed and honest Google review and got called a liar and was further insulted. The owner is clearly immature and does not have a clue how to give even acceptable customer service. Go check out any Google review that criticizes the company and every response is a childish and argumentative, and in my case completely false. One positive thing I can say, is the service was extremely reliable, but I will NOT give my hard earned dollars to a company that treats customers badly. No matter how reliable the service is. read more

I've been a customer for ten years and always been happy...until the last year when service has been getting sketchy. They got spotty picking up the trash and if there was more than a dumpster it probably would be left there in the yard for me to pick up the mess. Finally, I called and complained but my call wasn't returned. I called back later and customer service totally defended their practices and told me that's how it was. So I voted with my wallet. read more

We have had Ozark Refuse for years. Always friendly and professional. Drivers are courteous. Reasonably priced and reliable.

They were as good as anyone else till they forgot to bill my card when I called. On January 13 I noticed my garbage can was missing I called to see what was up and they said they tried to call me weeks prior. Later after I checked with my phone records, I found that I called THEM November 3rd to pay my bill and had offered the phone call I had recorded to prove it. When she realized I had evidence she got ruder and decided to wipe my bill and told me to find someone else. So I get punished for their screw up. When a business is behind the times with something as simple as a bill transaction, let alone missing pick up days which I let slide, and then can't even take being called out on their own mistakes, then I can't in good faith recommend them to anyone. I'd give them a 0 if I could. read more

As a new customer, I have been very pleased with their service, and that a real person answers the phone. She has always been very courteous, and helpful, and I question the reviews that state otherwise. I suspect maybe it was something that they said that got them a rude reply. No matter, I have had WCA, BFI, and Pendergrass (years ago) and Ozark is cheaper and better, IMO. read more

I just want to say how awesome this company is! I've had horrible service with Patriot Disposal (signed up for 3 months in advance, card was charged, trash can never delivered, refusal to give us our money back & to top it off - now we have trash just piling up ) Needless to say, I called Ozark Refuse in a panic! I needed an honest trash service ASAP. They called me right back after I contacted them, and then, had a trash cart delivered within 2 days. They even told me I could add our extra 3 bags of accumulated trash to the first pick up. I am extremely happy with this company, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more
