Excellent service, billing, price, and no automated answering service like other places. Family owned and operated and you can tell. So nice to speak with a person when you call and she's always friendly and helpful! We switched to them from from another company that sold to a larger one we were trying to avoid due to bad customer service reviews. Customer service here has been great. Only downside would be that we wished we could get larger recycling containers. read more

Horrible customer service. I called because they came and took my trash can even though I was paid up and the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and tried to tell me I hadn't paid even though I had. I will be finding a new trash service that actually treats their customers right. read more

This incredibly rude and unprofessional company neglected to pick up our trash for multiple weeks in a row. After multiple phone calls confronting the issue not only was the problem not resolved but their customer service representative REFUSED our calls and revoked our service. My roommates and I split the cost trash pickup and have paid in full, but Ozark Refuse discontinued our service anyway....for asking them to do their jobs. read more

This is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. Half the time I had their service, I or one of my roommates, would have to call them and ask why they didn't pick up our trash on the scheduled pick up day. They would condescendingly ask when we put the trash out (which 99% of the time would be Monday night and pickup was Tuesdays). Then they would tell us that they would "try to figure out what's going on" *hint* you didn't pick up the trash, that's what was going on. And finally come get the trash a day or two later. They also have a limit on the amount of trash they can pick up, which is an absurd business model for a trash company. We pay $15 a month for them to pick up our trash and they can't handle picking up a little extra? You already stop to get the trash, just take all of it. It's not hard. This most recent time they failed to pick up the trash, we called again to ask them to do their job and they went off the walls. The woman answering the phone told my roommate she didn't have to "take this from anyone," suggested we go back to our old trash company, told him this would be the last day they picked up our trash, and hung up on him. He called again and she hung up on him again. A few minutes later a blocked number (which also called me) called him and was yelling at him for harassing his employees and essentially threatened him because he asked if he would be home when he personally came and got the trash. We wrote some reviews on google about this whole experience and the owner started to reply to them saying that none of it was true and threatening to sue us. I have never seen such incompetence or unprofessionalism from any business, local or corporate. I would suggest that you stay far away from these people and look elsewhere for your trash service. read more

I'm thinking about changing trash companies and I called twice and barely got the words out of my mouth and she hung up. I called back and said why did you hang up on me and she hung up again. I don't even know this person so why? read more

What an awesome company!!! They are local, affordable, friendly and prompt. I have used a couple garbage collection companies in Springfield before but once we found Ozark Refuse we were hooked. Their recycling service is very cheap and easy. No sorting!!! Their garbage truck shows up every Tuesday at the same time and the guys on the truck are very friendly. The recycling truck shows up every Tuesday at the same time with a very friendly young lady driving. She always waves and smiles. The women that answer their phones are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I don't understand why every family in Springfield doesn't use their service. This company is doing things right. read more

Ozark Refuse has never missed a week for pickup service. If there is bad weather or another difficulty=they post the schedule or I get a robo phone call. The service has been excellent over the years. The driver of our route has gone above and beyond on several ocassions-example of Victor's professionalism-I was in the hospital on multiple ocassions and my husband did not push the cart to the street. Victor was seen by neighbors getting off the truck and walking up to the side of the house to get the cart and then returning it to its place by the house. Victor is one heck of an employee-which makes Ozark the service to have--indeed! read more

The people in the office are incredibly helpful!! Anytime I've had a question or concern it's been answered promptly. The service is consistent and I have no complaints so far.I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to switch to a service with lower rates and great customer service. I have only been with Ozark refuse for about 4 yrs now. I have never had a problem with them on when they pick trash up to how polite they are. I'm tired of there trucks running down our street at 3:00 am in the morning the next call is to the city since the have a noise and time they are allowed to pick up trash. BS read more

DO NOT order a porta potty from these guys! They DO NOT supply the toilet paper. I repeat DO NOT do business with them, also they pick up my trash once a month (not good). read more
