Store is good overall. The people in the printing area are super helpful. Just stay away from the old Asian guy who's worked in the main area for many years. He used to be nice. Now he's nasty. Actually condescending. Sorry dude if I don't know as much about printers as you do. That's your job. read more

Dinner time on a Saturday during Christmas season I walked in store looked empty. Went over to office furniture. It was obvious they had been assembling chairs for display and sale. I headed to get some help. After 3 people, the last being the store manager I got the chair I wanted. On sale, manager brought it up front for me and even put it in my small car. One, two, three. Kudos to Staples for helping me with the purchase. Exactly what I wanted and it was reasonable priced. And it seems happy in its new home.. read more

I went to staples because I received a 5$ off coupon after an Amazon return was done...no problem returning items to Amazon they were very efficient. This trip was a different story. I asked an about the rewards program and was informed as to how it worked and then purchased my item. I asked would this be applied to my rewards and was told I'd have to sign up - I said didn't you just sign me up?-No so had to return my items sign up and recheck out. Then I asked so am I getting the additional 30%rewards points advertised in the store for the items I purchased. No I was told I'd have to download the app and apply for the points - so I downloaded the app it required me to reset my brand new password-annoying- then I had to AGAIN return my items repurchase them and I had to Make SURE that I got the app coupon correctly to get the rewards points!!! what a load of crap and a waste of everyone's time I'm pretty much not a fan of the customer service at staples!!!! I give 1 star for the fact the final customer service rep apologized for the crap service read more

After a disappointing trip to Best Buy we decided to go to Staples in Ramsey. We were looking for a color printer and a store employee named Steve saw us and asked if he could help. I explained the model number of the H/P printer and he walked me over to his station, looked up the printer and within 5 minutes we ordered the printer to be delivered to my home in 2 days. The workers at this Staples Ramsey, NJ location are so helpful and friendly!! I needed to purchase the "big box" of copy paper. When I asked the young man fixing a display in the center of their store about it, he cheerfully said to please bring my cart to the item; he loaded the "big box" in my cart and said someone would meet me up front of the store to load it in my car! A nice employee named Bob greeting me there and followed me to my car in the parking lot and lifted the item into my car truck! I asked him who the othr man was, and Bob said his name is Matt, and he is their General Manger! KUDOS to you all! read more

I feel like I'm on an episode of undercover boss LOL. I'm even witnessing her be super helpful to her fellow associates behind the glass to the work area! I have used the print services at this location 4 times and every time I have had an issue. I place the order online and when I arrive they say they can not find the order. They run out of paper and can't fulfill an order. Complete mess of a store. read more

All 3 of the employees from the print shop who worked with me were exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. My project was 1) printing cards from a pdf, color, double-sided, cut down to size then edges rounded. 2) Making and printing in-shop custom address labels off of avery.com. I didn't even know such a service was available! read more

Very sparse selection and the staff seems unable to operate the cash registers and credit card machines properly. Every time I come to this store my credit cards magically won't swipe through their machines. read more

This was a real disappointment. I was here for a work project. The machines were old and not user friendly. I couldn't print from Excel through my USB unless I transferred to a computer which was a huge cost. There wasn't enough counter space to collate. Upon being prompted to put in my EIN number I found out it was the organization's EIN number but a Staples number. Just put up a note as such! I attempted to get assistance several times but they kept putting my questions off when there was one other person there. They were too busy talking about discounts on Easter merchandise at Walgreens. My best experience at a Staples is when they had a service person designated to just the self-serve printer area. To top it off the assistants were not presentable nor seem to have good hygiene. And the store was old and dingy. With the location, this store could be first rate. read more

They carry almost everything you need in and around the office. They also carry snacks and coffee but not the cheapest place for these things but you pay for the convenience. Pretty much most of the items are slightly higher than what you can purchase somewhere else except for the typical stationary itmes (pens, paper) but again if you want one stop easy shopping thisbis the place for you. Don't forget that they offer copying and associated services for your small ir medium sized company. In my opinion they do not staff the store enough except for the copy center since this is really their bread and butter business. read more

Went to print photos and the staff person in the photo/copy department was not helpful at all. I was one of three people in the store. When I asked for help she told me she was completely swamped and couldn't do anything. 5 dollars down the drain for an awful printed photo. Went to Walgreens in Hillsdale afterwards and they were very helpful. Walked me through the whole process and they came by multiple times to make sure I was getting on OK. Don't go to Staples. Overpriced and awful rude staff. read more

My business is very close by, so i go when I need something (not very often tho). They always have exactly what i'm looking for, which I kind of expect since it's staples. But the reason for my review was that my last visit I was looking for a printer. I knew next to nothing about printers like most people. the guy there was very knowledgeable, spent a good 5 minutes with me explaining the difference and what would be best for me. read more

I was looking to buy furniture and picked out which furniture I wanted to buy. I went up to the cashier and they told me someone would be with me shortly. I waited for about a half hour while all of the sales reps were sitting talking at the cashier area. Apparently none of them worked furniture. I knocked over a stand and threw the furniture cards on the ground. and left. They will never get my business again. read more

Just left the store today trying to buy some boxes to ship holiday presents. The store was completely empty yet they were five employees walking around pretty much doing nothing. I needed five boxes and there were only two in the store. After being told there were no more in the back I asked to mix and match five different boxes so I could get the bulk discount as they were out of the size I needed. Three employees were unable to make this decision and then they told me they would not give me the discount. Finally it took the manager to go to the back of the store himself and find the other boxes which were in stock. I'm convinced that the four other employees were sharing one brain among themselves As they were unable to find boxes and were unable to make a decision on their own. And the store was empty. The staples in Ramsey is probably the most efficient establishment in Bergen county. The Copy and print center does some honorable work, the tech department really knows what they are talking about, and last but not least, the sales associates at the register are so bubbly and bright. I guarantee you'll see me there again in the future. Revision: a tech associate that I truly admire is Tommy. I think he's even supervisor material. He's a real ride or die kinda guy. read more

Went in to get my business banner printed. I ended up not getting anything from there because I had to stop this person named Sarah(brunette bob). I couldn't take her attitude anymore. I was with her for only like 5 min and I was already angry. I told the manager how uncomfortable I was. This place will loose its business because of this one person. read more

Horrible customer service. Called the print shop & no answer after 5 minutes of the phone ringing. Tried to hang up & call again & got someone so incompetent at the front desk. Every question I asked, he turned around & asked to someone standing there with him. Never once when he did this did he say hold on let me check. Finally I asked if he would just put that person on the phone that he was asking the questions too.... another hold of 2 minutes. Used my phone timer to actually time them. If I could give zero stars I would, but unfortunately you can't. read more

I always handle all of my business needs at this print shop with Jenn. She is wonderful, fast and reasonably priced. I get such great feedback from my customers. The business cards and posters are great. Would def. recommend! read more
