I went home and found what i was looking for on line at Amazon, and for much less than the model that was out of stock at the store and with better features. In principal, I don't necessarily have an issue with this store in general or with people, who for the most part are perfectly cheerful and helpful. My issue is with the organization who amended their pricing policy on same day printing. As we all know, there is a premium on same day printing. In my opinion, while corporate thought it was ingenious, I think it might be the most ill thought out marketing (profit maximisation) program. Most of us require their prints on the day, and I can safely speak for everyone that if its important, they grudgingly pay the ludicrous premium. Last week, I paid 17cents for a one page print - next day printing. Today, I needed to get another single print off to a client by today, and this time the charge was 87cents...a five hundred percent premium. Just for the record Staples Corporate (and I hope that everyone is thinking what I am about to do) - I will never, ever, again spend a penny in your store. If you having second thoughts during these tough times....fire your whole marketing division, because they have just cost you another big client, and hopefully many more hundreds of thousands to follow!!!!!!!! read more

I have always found what I was looking for at Staples and more. Things I didn't even know that was available can be found there. The place is big and open and clearly marked and you can play with the electronics (eBooks, computers) in the open area. The do have an area in the front with other suggested items that can be helpful, even for gift options. The children's section has some good teaching accessories and craft type items. read more

This staples is across the street from my office (a nonprofit) and I visit often for copying jobs. The staff is friendly, and competent! They're very helpful with copying tasks & the time frames they give you for delivery are realistic. They make sure my tax exempt card is processed every time I get work printing done &/or am buying supplies for the office. I'd recommend working with the Staples copy center. read more

Staples is a fine store. I shop there more than average person for tons and tons of supplies, and when I can I prefer Office Depot / Max. In this area though, being that Staples Corporate is in Framingham, it is the dominant office supply superstore, and has somehow managed to get all of the business and have both Office Depot (just a few years ago) and Office Max (about 10 years ago....) close at Shoppers World. This Staples is quite in-superior to some of the others for a few reasons. First, the staff. I only dealt with the cashier, so I don't know how copy and print is, or the easy-tech people, but only a very few times has someone ever not even said "hello" back to me. Now, I'm not coming to Staples to be said "hello" to ; nevertheless, it's quite rude not to. In addition, the manager also wasn't too friendly and didn't seem to have interest in fixing an issue (explained next). Second, small little errors annoy me a lot (exaggerated). If something needs to be fixed, I'll point it out. As this Yelp listing shows, this store is located on "881 Worcester Street", not "881 Worcester Road" as their website and receipt read. If someone unfamiliar with the area was looking at the website, they would be taken to "881 Worcester Road" which is in Framingham, and not Staples. For now, I actually hope this does happen to people so they can figure out their problems and fix them. For now, I won't be back to the Natick Staples. If you're looking for a good place to buy office supplies in the immediate area, Walmart and Target are both around, and the Staples in nearby Framingham and Marlborough have to be better than this location. Was kind of disappointed with this store. Was hoping to see more of a selection of office furniture, specifically ergonomic chairs and what they have advertised on the website. Also I had difficulty finding the item I went to the store for which was advertised in the flyer: back to school notebooks and 2 pocket folders for 25 cents. I assumed they would be close to the front of the store, or in the actual area for sale items (displays in the aisle). I then checked the notebook section, then the clearance. After looping around the store 3.5 times I finally found them in the back left corner. I went to check out and of the 16 notebooks I bought 3 were wide rules vs college ruled, I didn't notice but the cashier said he would separate them which threw me off and I said that they should all be the same price, 25 cents. He then checked the price and they rang up $1.79 each. I explained that they were on sale and I grabbed them from the large back to school sale area in the back and he didn't seem to have any clue about the area or what was on sale that week, nor did he have a flyer. After A few minutes I went to grab a flyer and all of a sudden the sale price rang through. I feel like Staples has gone to the wayside and the employees are not at all versed in the items they sell, layout of the store, what's on sale etc. I've gone to Staples a few times in the past to look at printers and I gained more info about the printers in a google search than from the employees that work there. It's not their fault but more so the chain of command and training. Staples is generally extremely overpriced and I only will buy things that are on sale/clearance and if I'm in desperate need of an item I need immediately and cannot get elsewhere. read more

I am happy to write this review as the staff was amazing at this store (print and copy center staff). I submitted an online order cor a poster which didnot come out the way I wanted. Initially the lady was rude and not considerate however her colleague 'Marcelle' who was about to leave after his shift jumped in. He assured me he would reprint as I want and told me to edit it however I wanted. I said I do not have photoshop or any other professional tools. Doing what he is not paid for (photoshop work for me and they said they are told not to do this) and that too after his shift, he made sure I got the right size and look. He went the extra mile and made sure I left with a smiling face as I was not prepared to pay almost 2 times the cost at fedex. read more

As far as college and school supplies go I was disappointed with this location. They either have solid color accessories or puppies and kittens! If you're an older college student or young professional their selection is really limited. I did find a decent Day Runner planner but it was buried in an endcap back with the office chairs and not with the rest of the planners. I printed up posters and programs for a Christmas cantata here. I dealt with three people. First was an older man from NJ (sorry I forgot your name) who was great and extremely helpful. Second guy, a younger guy with glasses and a somewhat whiny voice tone, was merely OK. Third guy was Scott on a Friday evening, and he went above and beyond what was needed to give me a great deal. The finished product was excellent quality. I received so many compliments on the "beauty" of the posters and the programs, and without the great people at Staples, our holiday musical festivities wouldn't have been as successful. Store was clean and very well kept. As soon as I walked in, I felt as if I was not welcomed. A man who was an employee stopped in his tracks as I walked in and just kind of watched me walk over to the service desk. I waited in line to speak with the employee (I believe name tag said Bill) Bill who was helping another woman in front of me(Caucasian). Bill was very polite to the customer in front of me, greeting and politely ending the interaction as the customer walked away. Once it was my turn to approach, Bill immediately turned his face to an aggravated and unapproachable face. I still approached and said 'Good morning, how are you'. Bill did not reply. He just looked at me. So I then just went ahead to ask for assistance with scanning a document which included personal information for work. Bill said, do you need me to do that, I explained yes, I would appreciate the assistance because I had tried self scanning several times outside of staples but the client was still not receiving the documents. Bill rudely replied ' I have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 other things to do so I can't scan anything. You could come back when there's more employees here. ' I said okay, thank you have a good day'. Bill looked at me and walked away. I then asked to speak to a manager, who ended up being the employee who watched me when I walked into the store. The manager said the same thing Bill said to me. Which is fine, although in the 10 years of using staples to scan documents to clients, I have never experienced that. Even at the busiest stores. There were 4-5 employees standing around on their phones behind the desk and the manager just watching me or walking around, & about 3 customers in the store by this time(me being the only black person. I could not understand why no one could assist me in scanning 2 papers. I am writing this review because I felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed in the store because of the color of my skin. As an African American woman, I am just hoping and wishing for better/equal treatment for people who look like me. There was no compassion or enthusiasm to talk to or help me the same way I watched the employees interact with every Caucasian in the store. read more

I wish I had gone to Staples in the first place. The people their were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As a bonus the copy prices were about 20% less than the other place F***X. The management here has a seriously negative attitude about kids. My son was waiting on the sidewalk in front of Staples for my mother to pick him up after school. A manager came out and told him he was "loitering" and demanded that he wait away from the store. Recently, Staples management called the police because a youngster was playing with a water gun in front of another store. Another time, my son and a few other kids were asked to leave the store for no particular reason. They were just looking at stuff, but apparently that's not allowed at the Natick Staples. For a large box store I am impressed with the level of service they are able to provide here. Ordered twice for pickup this week. The first was a banner from the print center. After receiving a call that it was there I went in. They looked said it wasn't and I told them I had ordered a banner and got a call and they said oh a banner and immediately found it. Looked great. Well the second order was ink and I got an email saying it was delivered. Well I went in once and they said it hadn't got there. Checked back later in the day and they said they still didn't have it. Called the next day and they said they didn't have it. Went in an hour later with a printout saying it was there and finally go it. Would order from print center but definitely don't order for pickup. read more

I called to find out about the availability of a 2013 At A Glance appt. book refill, and I was left on the phone waiting for an answer for over 20 minutes. I had to call back and give all the information again. I was finally told that there were lots of At A Glance covers, but no refills. Very disappointing. I would have bought anther brand if they had the right size refill, but they didn't have any alternatives either. read more

i really really like staples but...if you go on their website it might say they have a product in their store but they actually dont and when they are having sales they dont enter it into their database so for example say i was going to buy a pencil sharpener and it says it was on sale for $ 12.00 well i get out my walet and get out $ 13.00 for 5% tax but then the lady says im sorry sir. but this product is $ 21.00 well i personally dont think staples does the greatest job but i cant help my self i love their products so its fine i guess read more
