I see some great and some terrible reviews for this place. The great reviews are for the customer service and guess what, the terrible reviews are also for the same!!! But here's my experience after I have been to this place several times. If you need to ship something that's less complicated - like you have an envelope, box that's packed well, it should be easy. But if you are in a complicated situation - like shipping your work laptop back to the company when the company prepares the shipping label for you - you may face a problem, at least I did. But the staff was helpful, they did sound arrogant at first but it was not like they didn't want to help. I had to be patient and work with them to get it resolved. There is definitely a need for the staff to realize that most people are clueless of the processes, especially if they are complicated, whereas the staff (because they are trained) knows everything. So it's the responsibility of the staff to work with their customers to understand the problem and help. However, I know the customer service is not all bad here! It may be a few instances when the store is really busy or under-staffed. Overall, FedEx is expensive but trustworthy as compared to other services. read more

By far a very rude and disrespectful bunch work at this location. Unfortunately when the manager (black gentleman) treats customers in a rude manner and finds humor in making fun of you when you are clearly not a "packing expert" like them and question a few things, I wouldn't expect more from their employees. As much as I hate to admit it, I am a procrastinator. I usually leave things for the very last possible second, spending all night rushing to get them done. This typically turns out to be ok, as some of my finest work is performed in the quiet peace that is the night, but when my work includes a 4x5 foot poster that I need for a presentation in a days time, waiting until the last second isn't the best idea. I stopped by here on my way home a few months ago in a panic. I needed a poster done and fast. I came in, crazy haired and frantic, rushing over to one of the employees. I explained the size and type of paper I wanted, and handed over my file on a little USB thumb drive. I left and spent some time roaming the mall (probably not an effective way to use my time in hindsight) and returned in about an hour, my poster just getting finished up. I looked it over, packed it in a nice shipping tube they had for sale, paid, and went on my way. The quality of the print itself was great. They did a great job trimming it and there were no smudges, smears, or defects of any kind. It was a bit pricey, but given the size and time constraints, I really can't complain. The employees were pretty knowledgable about the product, able to give me a good recommendation on the paper type, which turned out to be a great choice (some kind of hybrid vinyl). Would definitely go to again for my printing needs. read more

I went to the Fedex Kinkos in Framingham to drop off my HP notebook which was on the fritz for the second time in under a year since I bought the thing (lesson 1: don't go HP). I remembered from my previous experience there that Fedex is very specific because they want you to tape up your box with three pieces of packaging tape per seam and corner. They have complementary packaging tape sitting on the table when you walk in. The tape wasn't set on the dispenser the way it should have been and a young man walked by and asked me if I needed help. I asked him for scissors, but instead he had reset the tape back onto the dispenser in under 30 seconds. After taping the box, I stood in line behind another customer to wait my turn. An older gentleman behind the counter asked me, "Is your package prepaid?" "Yes." "Do you need a receipt?" "No." "Well you don't have to wait then, I'll set it back here for delivery." And I was on my way. Easy peasy. Now if only HP would make it that simple. read more

I went to this location to ship a package that was prepay. The associate was so rude and at one point laughed at me. The expectation she said was that "my box will be hit with another 50 pound box" Instead of helping me with ideas on how to repackage my box she just went out of her way to point out flaws in a condescending manner. I left with my box and went to another location, told them I needed to repackage my box. They said it was fine and quickly HELPED me with a couple tips to ensure it was safe. Its sooo challenging being solo in business, going going going and having to get everything done yourself, typically at the last minute (sorry, but its the nature of my business). Ben has always been patient and gotten my jobs. I even printed a crossword puzzle in big format, had it laminated and it didn't turn out the way it should have. This place was once an awesome Kinkos. Now, it's the absolute worst Fedex location on planet Earth. There are several employees. One is injured and drugged, another is young and stupid, and the third is actually quite great, I don't know how he can stay there. When you were waiting in line to ship a package, sometimes there's stress because you were in the middle of your busy day, and you were worried about the package getting there on time. Most of these guys do not inspire confidence. We are paying top dollar for the service, and there is competition I'll be at the Postal Service which sucks tremendously. Fix it!! read more

I emailed 1 bw page to self print but the Framingham store#2594, their printers don't let you resize so I asked an employee to help me. He left me hanging while 2 other employees were doing nothing. At some point at some point he asked me for my first name. I respectfully asked why he needs my name to print 1 sheet of paper. Then he became a MASSHOLE. Conrad deserves amazing reviews! He was so helpful-went with my package and bar code thinking simple. Not true the bar code had expired from Keurig Conrad had me go online an and get the email to send to him the email again had a problem. I called Keurig sat on the phone with them for 9 min before they sent me another email with another bar code. It worked I am not to sure who was more happy myself OR Conrad about getting the correct bar code to create a shipping label. I generally just stop on to print things on a workstation, and my visit tonight was the same. I usually don't require assistance, but always have good luck with Conrad if I do need it! Printing a shipping label from eBay and there were nothing but issues - I asked at the desk if he knew what the problem could be. Turns out it was an actual eBay issue - but he couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. In fact over the years going in this location I feel like Conrad is usually there and always friendly and helpful if approached. I'll definitely keep stopping in when the need arises. read more

I needed about 250 copies from 4 docs. The Fedex store was on the way home so I went there. I was not impressed. There was no one in the store. The staff didn't offer to help just pointed me to the self serve machine. The first machine had trouble reading my usb drive. The second machine read the first two docs but failed to read the third doc. I gave up and went to staples. The copy prices at Fedex were about 20% higher than Staples. read more

We went to this location as it's closest. The location has lots of parking and right off the interstate on Cochituate Rd. We had pre-paid shipping label, Jane was very helpful and super quick. Bad business practice. Just went to ship something (Monday 3/9) and I asked the skinny white guy behind the counter if they had a few pieces of scrap paper in the trash I can have to stuff in the top of my box. His reply "no worries I'll take care of that for you".. So upon getting issued my receipt there's a 3.99 charge for packing material. I said to him I asked for scrap paper and you offered to take care of it for me. So for the equivalent of 4 sheets of crumpled up paper you put in there I'm charged 3.99 and you don't think you should tell me that there's a charge?? Both him and the woman next to him said sorry for the miscommunication and STILL charged me. What a joke and SCAM this place is. Last time patronizing them. read more

Wow what a difference a few years makes. I begrudgingly went as I needed to get shower invitation inserts printed/cut to size etc. The associate working was incredibly helpful and patient (measuring for the paper cutter). Strangely enough, as I read other reviews Conrad is the shining star. He too was the Kinko's savior with me. The service was poor at best and the attitude/behavior did not help. At one point the manager (on the phone) was defending himself by stating how busy they were. I can assure you that on Thursday afternoon between 2:30 and 5:00 on October 8th, they had very little business and several workers. After noticing me waiting Conrad asked if I needed help. I said no thank you as I was told to wait for another person who was MIA. After 30 more minutes of waiting Conrad came over and took care of everything for me. Discussing this with a co-worker, he had the same issue and Conrad was only saving grace. I assure you I have no knowledge of Conrad other than he is the only positive thing about that particular Kinko's. read more
