This is actually the worst post office I have ever been to. I don't know why I ever go back. I swear the staff want to mess with you. I have never had a positive experience, in fact ever my experience has been frustrating or abandoned. As of 12/24/2022 @ 10:30 AM I do not know the lady's name but she was wearing a scarf around her head and was quite polite but she made me mess up my package. I brought my box to ship to PR and I had everything prepared, the shipping address, my address, everything. Usually they'll use their computer and print out the sticker or make you write on a sticker. She hands me a sharpie and to write top left my address and top right the shipping address... directly on the box and to go back in line. She left for another customer I was then attended to a very nice Asian man and I let him know what she told me to do and he sighed. Explained to me why it's wrong and how it should always be (in a kind way) So from this experience I think that specific woman staff needs to be trained more, because now my package could be in jeopardy. I know people complain about the long line but it honestly seems to move fast when I'm there. I find the people working there to be very knowledgeable and friendly and the self service tends to run very well. I haven't had an issue with self service at all. read more

This is the slowest post office I've ever been to.. I am a Framingham local and every time I come here the line is ridiculously long I literally have to drive to the Natick store almost every time... you would think they would be more staff considering the type of job it is but not here there's only two people at the front desk and 20 people in line! read more

I'm not sure why this Post Office has such bad reviews, but hopefully I can help them out with a good one. I've been here on a few occasions to mail out packages, get a money order, and purchase a passport. I was always treated with respect, and was helped in a timely manner. I decided to go to express lane, I waited in line and when it became my turn the gentleman behind the counter told me to go mail it myself at the self-serve.... Miserable experience renewing passports. The lines were a mile long. So some employee decides to "help" me. She grabs my papers, hands me a envelope to fill out, staples my photos and stuffs every thing in the envelope. Uses her hand held postage printer to post the envelope. And it's off. Except- she never looked at my paper work and I had never signed my paper work. And didn't realize until I got home. It's not like this saved me any time. Since we had to wait in the super long line anyway for a different renewal. As soon as we are standing in the long line, I hear the clerk asking a customer for a birth certificate. So I ask helpful lady if we needed a birth certificate. She looks at the paperwork and says that because we have the existing passport, no birth certificate is required. 1 hour 10 minutes later, we get to the front of the line. And we get sent home since we don't have a birth certificate. So "helpful " lady screwed me over twice. read more

I mailed a package from my local post office in Illinois and apparently a label applied to the package may not have been put on just right and my handwriting may not have been the best either. These two factors may have contributed to the package taking about 3 weeks to be delivered. Mary, at this Framingham post office reached out to me about the package. She let me know what the issue was and assured me it would be delivered. It was delivered today (Oct 14, 2020) and all because of Mary's personal attention to ensuring the package made it to its intended recipient. Mary's dedication to the customers of the USPS is noteworthy and should be the standard. I appreciate all that she did to ensure my package was delivered. read more

No, Framingham is not THE worst! I lived in Hopkinton MA and the delivery of mail was atrocious. Complained many times about them leaving the mail box open so the rain would get in and I would get soaked mail. Put a note on the mail box......it was ignored. I never gifted at X-mas because I never had the same mail person. They said the route was too long and they used whoever could do the extra hours. My guess is that it never occurred to the powers that may be to split the route. The desk people were Fine. Manager, at the time of my complains? Zero! Moved to Framingham.....called to change address, I had to leave my number for a return call within 28 to 40 minutes! Yes, I did try to do it on line, there, you find options for how much you want to pay for a change of address.! Post Offices have taken over the rude behavior of the Registry of Motor Vehicles of years past. No complains on the delivery in Framingham. So far so good! read more

if I could give negative stars I would. Don't waste your time or money. Go to a UPS store where they will at least provide service. This place wouldn't even tape my package shut. I had to pay $2 for tape. Then tape it myself. They even made me walk across the store to get the tape off a wall. They wouldn't do a label. I had to write the label and tape to the package myself. I guess its in their contract not to get a paper cut. Ridiculous. I'll never go back there again. No wonder Amazon is eating their lunch read more

Without question, the worst post office I've ever dealt with. This opinion is not based on a single visit, but more than a decade of visiting this post office as little as possible -- only when necessary. It has the most lackadaisical staff. If there are three or more people in line, grab your cup of coffee and download an episode of your favorite Netflix show because you're in for a long wait. You're actually better off heading to downtown Framingham, Saxonville or even downtown Natick; you'll get faster and more courteous service even if those locations are further away. read more

I showed up at the post office with a slip that I had received only 24 hours earlier. I was asked to wait while the postman looked for the package out back. He came back 10 minutes later and said, "I couldn't find it, but I have the supervisor looking." 10 minutes after that I went up to the man again, and asked "when should I expect to see someone?" He replied "oh he should be back there looking". After 40 minutes, he came out with a print out stating... I don't know where he put it, sign this and we'll have it delivered to you tomorrow. That was the last time I went above. I had another experience with them that has since made me change my rating. This time, when the package was lost, they were friendly, took more time to analyze where it was than my first experience, and got it to me after only a little time waiting. I suppose every company has bad days, so I'll call it a wash. read more

I won't bore with the details, but a package I shipped from Dallas TX to Framingham was greatly delayed because the shipping place sent it via parcel select ground or snail mail. I was out of my mind because it was a Christmas present to my daughter. Out of desperation I called this office and spoke to Michael, who took the time to explain what happened and why the package was horribly delayed. He didn't have to do that, but he did and while I was upset my daughter will not have her present I had a full understanding of what happened. I'll take it up with the BBB against the shipping business in Texas but kudos to Michael. read more

Two issues... Do NOT use the self serve kiosk! Went to the self serve kiosk on Sunday morning and ordered 100 stamps from it. It dispensed only 50. Went today to the post office (yesterday was a holiday) and they admitted that the machine does this but seemed not to know how to hand me 50 more stamps considering I had my receipt and the other 50 with me. Took a supervisor to confirm they could do that. While making my selection it said sheets of American Flag stamps would be dispensed. There are pictures all over the windows and walls of what that looks like. They're generic, good for business use, and attractive. What I got has bar codes printed all over the sides making them unattractive and larger. Unsuitable for my purpose. I explained this and was told I could only be given the missing 50 in what the machine dispensed and couldn't trade them because they are currency. Last I checked, we exchange currency hundreds of thousands, probably millions of times a day in this country. All I asked for was apples for apples exchange. This is why the Post Office stinks. Do NOT use the self serve kiosk!!! read more

I went in on a Friday evening after work to pick a missed delivery and to post some documents. There was a moderate line which moved pretty quickly. Two employees were serving at the counter. The woman at the counter greeted me with a smile and help me with my task. She gave me the most economical and quickest option to mail my package. After the transaction, I left the store and realized I forgot to sign one of the documents that I had mailed. I came back and waited my turn in the line. This time a gentleman served me at the counter. I explained my situation, without hesitation he went in and got my package and opened it for me so that I could sign my document. Most pleasant experience. Economic. Very professional people. I highly recommend this USPS branch read more

Stay away from this post office !!! Clerks are rude and so are the supervisors, especially Asian ones, don't even bother with the Asian clerk balding with white hair, and white mustache/ eyebrows !!! Very rude and condescending. Have been overcharged there for international shipping plus the clerk changed my customs form which I signed and because of that the package was returned after paying $ 63.95 for express shipping, they refused a refund filed a complaint in Boston and the same supervisor called me on the phone very rude And mad that I dared to complain he was almost crying at the end . Those people working there have no customer service skills whatsoever !!! Eventually, shipped my package with UPS ground for $33 and it took the same amount of days as USPS Express International Mail for $63.95 !!! And the UPS clerks are NICE !!!! Never received a refund not even an apology. The clerk lied to me that There was no tracking on Priority Mail International flat rate medium box which would cost me $45.95 and made me use Express Mail for $20 more and then messed with my customs form so after paying almost $65 package was returned . You are better of buying shipping online because those people there have no clue what they are doing. I don't send mail often, but when I try, they don't even look in my mailbox! They just stuff my new mail in with my mail to be sent. And when it's raining, they jam it all in regardless of whether it will shut or not so everything gets soaked! Not to mention when I check a package via tracking number the information is never available, and the rare occasion it is, it has said that its ready to be picked up, and may already be at my door. I have called to speak with customer service and after being tossed around the automated menu, I get the message that says, customer service is not available. No kidding. It's non existent. I HATE usps, and have resorted to not doing business with people that don't use another option. read more

I received a letter that I sent out on Sunday. The letter carrier delivered it to my address instead of the address recipient's. I brought it to this post office where I was given an attitude. I was told by an employee which side of the envelope did I want it delivered to. I replied, "The side with the stamp on, not the return label." He then walked away. I changed my address, after moving, in 11/10 yet my mail is still being delivered to my old address. Actually, it can't because the year has expired so my mail is being returned to the sender. Why? Senders are putting my new, correct address on the envelope yet the PO refuses to send it to me. I have had bills returned to the sender which hurts my credit. I had a dying person (3 - 4 weeks to live) send me a letter to my correct address. It was rerouted to my old address and then returned to the sender a week and a half later. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have spoken to the assistant post master to no avail. read more
