My experience at this store was absolutely terrible. I spoke with the owner of this store, his name…read moreis Arvind, and he was incredibly rude to me and telling me I should stop threatening him. I had gone to the store to do a return for a purchase I made through a third party vendor. I was returning the part and gave them the address to use. The agent at the UPS store entered the address and told me to click the OK or continue button a few times on the screen. I followed her instructions and clicked those buttons. We later found out that the agent had entered the wrong address, because a week later I got a call from the UPS store telling me that the shipment had been returned to them in Natick as undeliverable. It was at that time that we found out that the agent at The UPS Store had inputted the wrong address and had missed putting in a six for the number of the street. When I spoke with the staff at The UPS Store, the manager and then the owner, both told me that I would have to pay to have it shipped again even though it was the agent who had typed in the address incorrectly. They explained to me that because there was a step on the screen that required that I verified the address that it became my fault and not the agents. Of course, this was not the case because the agent had told me to just click OK and continue. The owner then proceeded to explain that he had looked at the CCTV footage (this is weird by the way that they have CCTV to try and prove customers wrong, it goes to show how many complaints they must get!) and in the CCTV it showed that I actually verified the address and thus again it was my fault and I would have to pay to have the item shipped again. So even though I had just done what the agent said (click continue and ok), they were still blaming me. So I guess we're getting to the point with our society where when you go to a restaurant and you place your order with the waiter, that the waiter will have the customer read the order from his pad to make sure that he has not made a mistake. And if you get the wrong food now it's your fault and you have to pay for a new dish. Or maybe when you go to the doctor and they write a prescription they will have you as the patient read the prescription to make sure it's the right one and then if you get the wrong one because you read it incorrectly and it ends up causing you harm the doctor isn't at fault because it was the patient who is required to verify what the doctor has done. It's funny I don't see other businesses doing this sort of thing but only at this particular UPS store. By the way it would have cost The UPS Store $16.00 to ship my item again but they decided saving $16.00 was more important than a happy customer. I'm done using The UPS Store and will start using FedEx instead. I am looking forward to the response from the owner where they take absolutely no responsibility for anything and just blame the customer, like they've done on every other poor review here.

Place was locked up with no explanation unless you call their phone number. Wasted time and trip. Went to FedEx Framingham and got excellent service. My first and last time here. This location charged them $550 for a shipment that should have been $150 or so! The store purposefully sold them too large a box and then on top inaccurately measured the dimensions of that box to make it exactly 1 inch over a 130 inch "large package" threshold leading to extreme fees. It's all just a scam. When I called 45 minutes later to inquire how the charge got so large and to attempt to reverse by canceling the whole shipment, the owner became verbally abusive and then personally threatening. These people are crooks. Avoid at all costs. UPS Corporate should not allow franchisees like this to sully their name. There is a reason why this location has so many terrible reviews. I wish I would have checked these reviews before today's events. I guess there are much better franchisees in Needham and Newton.

Very disappointing experience with the UPS Store in Weston. I had two small packages delivered…read morethere and, when I went to pick them up a few days later, I was told I owed about $100 in storage fees based on a $10-per-package-per-day charge starting the day each package arrived. I had never been told about this fee, and the employee acknowledged that it is not something they advertise. The storage charge was roughly three times the value of the packages themselves, so I left without them rather than pay it. It felt as though I was being forced to pay a substantial undisclosed fee simply to retrieve my own packages. I spoke with the manager, but he would not reconsider the charges and seemed irritated that I was questioning the policy. The company that shipped the packages was shocked by what happened, said it would investigate and file a complaint, and is sending replacement packages directly to my home. I would be very cautious about doing business with this location unless you first make sure you understand what fees they may charge, including any hidden charges that are not clearly disclosed in advance.

Unfortunately for Me, Pattie retired, & this business evidently is now under new ownership & has REALLY gone DOWNHILL fast. I recently bought a couple of vintage auto parts on eBay. Sadly, they wouldn't fit, necessitating My returning them for a refund. eBay emailed Me a "QR code". When I saw "FedEx" listed as the carrier I needed to use to ship the parts back I cringed, since anything & everything remotely related to this pitiful "carrier" always seems to end up complicated, a huge hassle, & a gigantic nightmare. Having no other viable options at the moment, I grudgingly drove to the "Postal Center" so they could scan the QR code, print a label, & ship the package out for Me. Well, FedEx "came through" for Me once again, right on cue. The "clerk" on duty matter-of-factly informed Me that the Postal Center is "no longer scanning FedEx QR codes". I really thought She was kidding! They advertise themselves as a "full service center", are considered a FedEx drop-off location, & they can't/won't scan QR codes? Preposterous!!!!! A wasted trip, & in case this clerk hasn't noticed, gas prices (like FedEx rates), are in the stratosphere. She could care less. This "clerk" was about as useless as power windows in a submarine. No apologies, no recommendation(s) of what My options are, etc. I asked Her WHY they won't scan QR codes She informed Me that "We don't have the necessary equipment to scan QR codes". REALLY??? I suggested that it might be good business practice for Them to INVEST in a scanning machine, seeing that They're supposedly a "FedEx full-service location". DUH!!! That suggestion also fell on deaf ears. I informed Her that I was finished doing any business with "The Postal Center"...She could care less about this also. Quite the "attitude"! On My own, I searched the internet & quickly found that Walgreens in Millbury handles the shipping of FedEx packages. I called Them & when I told the clerk the story about The Postal Center not being able to scan FedEx QR codes, She too thought I was joking!!! She had never heard of anything so ridiculous! So, I drove to Millbury. She (Karen) was very nice & helpful (unlike the DUDS at The Postal Center!!) Within 3 minutes She had the QR code scanned, the shipping label affixed, & the package was on its way! Now THAT's the way to do business!!! So whatever You do, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER using The Postal Center for anything since They're as useless as FedEx, I'm spreading the word far & wide, with the hopes that this pitiful excuse for a "business" will go the route of "Spirit Airlines", along with FedEx, and cease to exist. The staff has always been pleasant, professional and thorough in my opinion. Shipping does cost a little more than some other places, but (for me) it was well worth it to ensure that my packages were packed and delivered on time and undamaged.
