TL;DR Review: Filthy store. I simply cannot believe how dirty this store was. Granted, I wasn't expecting hospital- or even restaurant-level cleanliness but I didn't expect this. First, I visited this store on December 13, 2024, searching for a whiteboard and when I found them, I couldn't believe how filthy the area was. On the whiteboards, there were dead small bugs on top of the box, like when you see dead bugs after a spider finished with them. Behind those boxes, it was even more dirt, dead bugs, and other debris. When you look down the aisles, the floors obviously have not been mopped in days, maybe weeks or even months! There was trash on the floor near the whiteboards so no one swept this floor. I couldn't believe it and meant to write this review on December 13, 2024 but I forgot about it. Now, that I remembered, I didn't want to write this review without at least going back to the store. So, on January 9, 2025, while I was out, I visited this Staples, just to see if maybe in December, I caught this store on a bad day or something. Nope. Same dirty floors, same pile of dead bugs on the same whiteboard, same trash and debris ... ugh! I don't understand how the employees or the manager have no embarrassment about how filthy this store is. I don't get it. I took some pictures but I wish I had the presence of mind to have taken the exact same photos, from the same angles to compare from Dec 13th to Jan 9th. I ordered a chair online and was sent the wrong chair, which is not this stores fault. Staples sent the correct chair and said they would be sending a courier to retrieve the incorrect chair. We dragged the chair outside for 2 weeks, no one came, so they said they would have UPS pick it up.Dragged it outside 3 more days. Finally asked if I could just take it to UPS myself. The customer service representative said no, but that I could return it to a store. Today, we went out of our way to go to this store to return this chair. Hunter would not even let me fully explain my situation and was talking to someone on his headset instead of listening to me, and said something to the person on the headset about not hearing them because of "an audio disturbance", which was me. He absolutely would not let me explain and said it was past the return date. We lugged this very heavy chair back home again and called customer service again, and are awaiting a courier pickup again. The employees here seemed understaffed and overwhelmed, and I am sympathetic to that, but it is rude to not let someone explain and after this whole experience, I would never buy anything from Staples again. read more

I took some time to look at all-in-one printing devices and two staffers asked me if I needed help while I was still looking at details. A while later, the second person returned. We talked for a while and he suggested that I take a look at some reviews online, as well as some prices. They will price match with certain online retailers, such as Amazon.com. I also wanted to see if they had a certain chair to which I'm accustomed but haven't had for a while, and unfortunately like the other stores in Indiana and Ohio, they didn't have them. I suppose they just order directly from Global Products and have them shipped directly to you. He also mentioned that if you're a rewards member, shipping is free, although I think that shipping to the store is always free, if you'd rather pick it up instead of having it sit in front of your house. He had a lot of good advice, so it's great to see a store so open to hiring good people. These days, I'm not sure of the mask protocols in my state BUT as a considerate person I always wear a mask when I am in public. On 6-19-21 I visited my neighborhood Stapes (Huber Heights, Ohio) to send a package through their UPS hub. This was the first time in a very long time that I have seen employees without even a hint of a mask. Additionally, Staples has the nerve to post a notice in their window encouraging customers to wear masks!!!! Believe what you want (conspiracy or science), the fact is Staples should review its impact on the community and UPS should take note of its vendors. Until staples becomes becomes a safe environment...I'm done with them!!!! read more

Hands down the best local print customer service. Employees went above and beyond to take care of our shower invitation needs. They stayed late and helped us by reprinting our entire order - even though the Change was on our end. Excellent quality and service - will forever use them as my local printer. read more

Horrible customer service. Walked in and saw at least 5 people standing around. I went to the computers thinking someone would come over. I waited and waited and waited. Waved at some at the desk to let them know i was there. Still nothing. After about 10 minutes of waiting I left. decided to go to Troy and service was about the same. read more

This store is severely lacking in customer service. Assistant manager and full time manager do not know their own policies, especially regarding prepaid gift cards. They were unfamiliar with even ringing them on the register. I had to call the office of the president to get them to complete a simple transaction. Treated like a thief in store. I arrived close to the store close (7:50) to pick up my pre-paid print order, and the doors were already locked. The employees at the front waved us off and then ignored us. I knocked, hoping they'd come over so I could explain it was a pre-paid order that I just needed to pick up (for an event starting at 7 AM the next day, it couldn't wait), and received a rude gesture in reply. I was with my husband and 4 year old and with my arm in a sling from surgery, and on my second knock, the "manager" indicated she would call the police- and she did. I'm sure we looked so threatening in our minivan. We received criminal trespass citations from the utterly unhelpful and useless cop, and was told to pick up from another store. Since it was printed at this location, picking it up elsewhere wasn't going to help (nor was I going to waste my time driving because some jerk couldn't manage to do her job properly), even if the event wasn't happening prior to the store's Saturday opening. I have NEVER been treated so appallingly by a store, and given that they were supposed to have been open, this amounts to the theft of my order. Personally, I think the criminal complaint really needs to go the other way. I'll never shop there again, and plan on telling everyone I know how lazy and offensive the staff at Staples can be. Worst customer service ever. I visited the store and after finding out they did not have the product I needed the associate offered to order on line for me. He promised overnight delivery as I needed the product in 2 days. When I returned to the store I was informed the product would not be available until next week. I cancelled the order but the store manager would not refund my money. She stated she could not do that until the product arrived. We had a sudden death in our family and needed full color funeral programs for the services. Once I had my files ready for printing I called this store for help. We discussed options for the printing and the customer service rep said we could pick up the programs the next day. After sending the files to this store via email, I got a call an hour later saying that the job was printed, folded and ready to be picked up. We were all so thrilled. The programs looked amazing and the added kindness was greatly appreciated during a very difficult time. read more
