Staples has everything one might need from planners to art supplies and strangely items in an aisle from Party City! I love the staff at this location. Jess at the counter has got to be one of the funniest energies here. It's so nice to see her each time I go. I recently found out that this is an Amazon return location now so go see Jess and return your items! She is fun! The copy center staff at this location have always been so very kind - they also help people on their public facing self-service photo copiers - where people always seem to need help - I worked in a Kinko's many years ago so I totally get it. They are really great communicators and always show you proofs of what you are going to receive color or sharpness wise and have helped me so much get my art printed and at a great resolution. I love working with them a lot and absolutely use these copiers as my printers. The staff go above and beyond to make the smallest issue solved and have great patience with the amount of crazy that trots in here. The customer service at this store is absolutely abysmal. I was in the store and purchased a 3 year warranty for a ring light. 3 months ago I returned it and exchanged it no problem. The light broke again this morning and went to exchange it when I was met with the manager on duty Shalana. She was extremely rude and dismissive. I told her the situation that happened last time and she talked over me like I didn't matter. I just got a refund because of how she came at me. I will never purchase anything from a Staples store again. I'll take my money where I'm treated with respect. An easy exchange could have gone down and instead you lost a customer and anyone else I know. I hope you talk to the manager about how to handle working for "customer service" in the future because she clearly doesn't understand how it works. read more

Went in today to do an amazon return. It was a cellphone wrapped in a plastic bag. So you can imagine the size. As i approached the counter i told her it was an amazon return and she saw it was a small item and she looked at my preprinted shipping label and said "that is a shipping label. You need a box." And then she just stared at me. I went and got a padded envelope because a box was the wrong choice for an item that small. I walked back and said "a padded envelope will work?" And again, stares at me and says "as long as it will fit". Well obviously it fits. Then she rings me up and i ask "can you tape this on for me?" And she says "i guess." I went and asked her name to the other 2 employees on the copier side of the store. They "didnt know her name." Again, i know the job market is tough. Horrible customer service and management. I ordered the printing of confidential documents and never received them. When I called they kept me on hold many times (over one hour) while looking for the docs and talking back and forth with their manager; finally, they gave me the correct number for their courier. 5 stars for the copy and print center at this location. I needed to print some documents and Staples made it really easy and convenient to do so. I uploaded my documents via their website where you can easily chose the size, quality, and color of your document. I had selected for one of my documents to be printed in color and Maria gave me a call letting me know that the document would come out a bit small on the paper if she printed it in color. Super nice of her to call and give me a heads up! My documents were ready for pick up in just a couple of hours. There is tons of parking at this location. Pick up was also really easy. I just walked right in, went to the print center and gave them my name. I was out super fast. BTW - their self print section is open. I thought the area was going to be closed due to COVID but it's open in case you need to print something right away. read more

I recently had to print out funeral service programs for one of my best friends who passed. It was my first time, and I wasn't really sure which type of paper people normally use, or how to go about it. To be honest, I was a mess. Miguel from print and copy services patiently helped me figure out what paper I should use for the programs, and showed me several options to make sure I found exactly what I needed. He was extremely knowledgeable not only about the type of paper they offered (I now know my favorite paper is 110 lbs), but also about the services they offered, such as trimming, folding, etc. His expertise put me at ease, and helped me get through this difficult time. The programs came out perfect, and I know that my friend, who was a perfectionist, would've appreciated it as well. Awful customer service, stopped in quickly for one thing and got to the cashier who was in the middle of an already prolonged customer interaction. After that finally finished, the cashier motioned me up while said customer was still lingering to the side and she then interrupted my sale and the cashier stopped to help her mid ringing me up. I was in a hurry so I left, the cashier should have either never started to help me or asked the difficult customer to wait as they had already started a new transaction. The audio recordings coming out of the loud speakers are very annoying. They make for a very unpleasant experience whenever I am in the store. First of all, these audio recordings are entirely too loud. It's impossible to go anywhere in the store and get away from them. It's like being assaulted. If they could be turned down to, say, 25 decibals, it would at least make it tolerable to be in that store. That would be good for starters. As far as mentioning the content of the recordings, all I can say is whoever selected them has absolutely no sense of of musical quality. The so-called "music" is incredibly inane and tasteless. Yet, it is considered required listening, and is being imposed on the customers, whether they want it or not. It's a very rude form of imposition upon the public. It surprises me that the management of Staples is unaware of this unpleasant imposition. They would be doing themselves a great service and the public a great service if they'd at least turn that stuff down to a level where one could possibly tune it out if one didn't want to be subjected to it. read more

About the only thing this place has going for it is the parking lot. Went looking for a computer and the selection was alarmingly small - truthfully we only went because Staples was offering $100 off laptops that week, but there were very few to choose from. Regardless, I could NOT get anyone to help me. We waited 20 minutes and no one even asked if I needed help or said "Hello". Very bad/non-existent customer service. My friend ended up buying the laptop she needed for school, and I bought the stuff I needed for my home office. The parking here is not a hassle, as they have their own lot. Otherwise, it would have been a nightmare finding parking along Sunset or the side streets. The crowd was not too bad either, even though you can find some pretty interesting characters at night in this side of Hollywood.
