On top of that, I was told they couldn't accept PayPal or Zelle after all and would only take cash or a card. If I had known that beforehand, I would have come prepared or chosen a different repair shop. Because of the incorrect information I was given, I had to leave my phone overnight and make another trip the next day, which wasted my time and caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. Clear and honest communication is important, especially when customers are making decisions based on the information they're given. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here.

The online support told me a few things to try, but could not remotely access my phone at this point, but said they would call me back 4 days later (@ 4pm) after I'd done the things they suggested. They didn't call back, and I went back to the store. They then referred me to Express Mobile Techs. These people are truly AMAZING! After examining my phone, they determined it was the motherboard. After costs comparison vs a replacement with the s25, I opted to buy my phone from them. Taylor then spent a few hours (!) trying to transfer all my data to a computer for backup between the lagging, shutdowns and restarts and then transferred and setup my new phone for me. She was able to unlock some frozen apps and also retrieve text messages that my phone had deleted. Verizon would never have done all of this! Additionally, about 4 or 5 years ago, they were able to retrieve data from my husband's phone that had suddenly become a "brick" while he was working from home! I had forgotten their name and where they were located when my phone went bad. I'm so glad to have found them again and will refer all my friends! I'll be taking in an older desktop for some work soon! They truly are EXCELLENT!

They fixed the damaged digitizer, and even re-bent the case into position. Looking at the device now, you can't even tell that it was damaged. I felt that the technicians were honest and friendly, and the price was slightly lower than I was expecting (Apple parts cost Apple prices, unfortunately). My only complaint would be that it took around 3 weeks to get it fixed. Apparently they lost some key personnel, and were pretty backlogged over the holidays. Overall, I recommend Sarge's. The quality of their work is very good, and the prices are reasonable.
