I was able to bring my computer in and discuss the challenges with it. We were able to turn it on and clarify a couple of programming notes and the issues were resolved within a day and a half. The computer works like brand new. Truly, one of the best experiences when in a bad computer situation. After spending half a day trying to find a trustworthy computer repair professional to replace the one who had retired last year, I struck pure gold at Scan Corp. It is like having an IT professional in the family. Scan answered my on-line service inquiry on their site (www.scancorporation.com) quickly and discussed the problem, as well as giving a VERY realistic idea of the cost to repair the issue. The price was more than competitive and, in the end, less than the original quote. Was told they believed they had the part on hand and it would take a couple hours, or if it needed to be ordered a couple days. Dropped it off and went next door to The Oaks for lunch and had just finished a couple hours later and they called to say it was done. The repaired parts were returned to me and they took the time to explain the problem and what possible problem may occur in the future on this rather old desktop. Honest, reasonably priced, local friendly staff that is Veteran friendly......What more could one ask for? read more
