I ordered brochures and business cards to be print on demand at the local Bluffton Staples store, and when I went in to pick them up, they said "oh we can't do that order because our machine is down". Nobody called me, nobody had any desire to help me, they just canceled my order and didn't refund the pre-payment that I made of $133 so now I can't re-order the print to be made at another store because I will be double charged. They completely ruined the timing that I needed the print job done and didn't even care to try to help me... I can't even transfer the order to another store because the stores don't "talk" to each other. read more

Very nice store. Not very busy. I was greeted as I entered by a very friendly cashier who offered to hold onto my recyclable ink cartridges until I returned with my new ones. They looked up my rewards number and applied the $20 credits to my account. They also scanned my $15 coupon from my phone. Very quick and convenient. read more

The customer service here is FANTASTIC!! Moving from Ohio, I was skeptical of Staples. We had bad experiences with them in the past. However, this store has renewed my faith in the brand. Everyone that I dealt with was wonderful. I had a piece of electronic equipment that had a glitch in it. No questions asked go get another one. Let us know if we can do anything more to help. Finally got one after getting a manager involved. If you are in a hurry you have come to the WRONG place not to mention that you will be greeted with so much "attitude" that one could choke on it! Hoping the new manager can change his employees' attitude issues. I have never been treated so rudely, and I'm a nice person, I always give some grace. RARELY do I report anything negative, but I felt they should know why they lost my business. There was one exceptional csr, his name was Rob, he rescued me from any further escalating insulting treatment. I thought the initial employee was just having a bad day, but when I came in a second time I was blown away by the dismissive, literally "pissed off I was taking her time" attitude. The manager told me they have a very heavy work load, both with online orders and off, but I will never go back there. All were in the printing department. I was there for 5 minutes, I was not holding up the line, I just wanted to ask some questions before placing my potentially very large order. read more

I attempted to UPS an item today and was treated poorly. Since I didn't need an overnight delivery which would have entailed using an envelope behind the counter and cost $36, I was asked to select a box. Unfortunately the boxes were about 7 yards away. I said to the associate I would be right back, but she elected to help someone else. I lost my place in line and waited 5 minutes. I was then told I needed to pay for the item at a separate counter. There were 3 people in that line and no assurance that I wouldn't lose my place in line again. Sorry, Staples. I have better things to do with my time. I walked into staples to pick up a box of paper that I had ordered. The man at the counter, Arvin, the Team Supervisor, greeted me with a smile, then rang my item up quickly and efficiently while entertaining me and my two boys with great conversation. He then stopped half way through and kindly told me to turn around. He began showing me a stack of paper boxes behind me that was not only cheaper but closer the my intended use. He then refunded the paper I just bought, then rang up a whole new box for me, again entertaining my boys and I. He was kind the whole time and his conversation was great and humorous and you could easily tell he was happy to be a staff member. My boys and I left with smiles on our faces and amazing moods-- and I saved almost thirty dollars. It did not matter that Arvin had to do the entire process again. He wanted to assure I got the best experience. I have had an amazing time at staples, and I will definitely come back again. Thank you, Arvin! You deserve some recognition! read more
