The worst! I was standing in line forever, trying to make a return at the service desk. There was somebody standing by the door who looked like a manager. I walked up to him and asked if there was anybody working in the mail department. He said that yes but she was busy with someone in the copy area. I just think it looks bad when there are people standing around and could help out when clearly one person is doing all the work and needs help. I also came in one time and asked if they did passport photos. They told me no. Even though there is a sign when you walk in saying they do passport photos... And on yelp it says they do passport photos... I'm so confused. Just don't go to this location. read more

I used to come here a lot before I discovered the FedEx closer to me has self printing services that are far more reliable. I would frequently order documents for printing here for pickup and upon arrival, the order was rarely completed correctly. There were times when I received other people's documents in the folder with my documents (huge privacy concern depending on what you're printing here). There were other times when I'd find my documents stapled together when I specifically did not request stapling so the whole job would have to be reprinted. There were many times that the quality of the print job was just... bad - you could clearly see ink or toner was running low and no one took the time to replace it. Colors would be washed out, etc. The people here genuinely seem to be doing their best to keep the place going but there's obviously some sort of skill gap here. While every interaction was fairly cordial and staff's errors would be quickly corrected whenever I pointed them out, it just became too much for me to tolerate after a while. read more

The store's very poor rating says it all. DO NOT WALK IN. Rude and unhelpful employees. Website says same-day pick-up but they will call you and say your order will be ready in 3 days. I told them I needed my business cards so the Print Supervisor said she will "make an exemption" for me. Your customers don't need an exemption. There's a reason we did not order for delivery; we need a same-day pick-up. Either you change your website; or be accountable for your mistakes. Do not gaslight your customers!!! read more

Am in process of checking Visa and Amazon Prime for particulars. I had 2 credit slips for discounts and one was rejected because the bar code was missing. Very unhelpful employees. They are inattentive and barely pay any attention to you. It is slow and takes forever to get anything done. I went in to print my sister's baby shower invitations. I stood in line for about twenty minutes behind one other guest speaking with an employee. Two other employees made eye contact with me and never asked if I needed help. The lady in front of me finally moved and I told the man I needed to print. He pointed at a sign and said "you have to follow these directions." He never spoke to me again. I tried to email the file and get the right code and it didn't work until I tried three or four times. I finally got the code and waited in line for a printer. All of them were taken and two were broken. I couldn't get the printer to work and tried to ask for help, but none of the employees even looked in my direction. I finally walked out, frustrated and exhausted of standing around for 45 minutes without any help or even an attempt at help. read more

As soon as I walked in on 3/23/23 the first thing I heard was an employee working a cash register shouting across the entire store what she wasn't going to to do for customers. Her quote was " these customers come in here asking me where things are instead of looking for them themselves. I knew right away she was unapproachable. I couldn't get any assistance in getting a label printed and package returned. The closing of the Towson store is what drove me there in the first place, I'm really going to miss that store. Half of the printer didn't work causing a line of customers standing in line over 30 to 45 minutes. I left and drove to Timonium and it was like leaving the third world and going to the first world. read more

So, after addressing some college graduation announcements a trip to staples was needed. We stopped here to get instant return labels. Well, lets just say it darn sure was not instant. Where do I start? We find the self service spot. Pick a return address labels Fill it out for instant labels Look around to find gold circle seals Go to register to pay for supplies and those what? Instant labels. Only to return to the copy center and what? That's right no labels. Well the young lady that was working in that area was new. Not a problem, however she didn't have the needed help. It was not crowded but there were a few other in the store. Well we are about 25 minutes into this. When she goes to do the order she can't even find those instant labels so that they could be printed up. Are you thinking what I am thinking? Why in the hell is it called instant labels? Oh and I forgot to mention while in the store the alarm has been going on and off the entire time there. SMH So, the young lady calls over the manager who is trying to help with the alarm and assist other employees. Yes that is another 15 minute wait. When the manager finally comes over to help. She doesn't even know how to retrieve the labels. But, she did call to another store and to see if someone could help. Yep another ten minutes Finally she does get someone to help her So long story short because I know that you are tired of reading but, we spent over an hour waiting for instant labels that we didn't even receive a discount for. 2.5 stars People working at the Print Center are mostly friendly. But wow, are they inefficient. They had a few customers but it wasn't like the place was completely swamped. I needed to bind 4 stacks of paper into 4 booklets. It took over 3 hours for them to be ready... Just wow. Fortunately, there are many shops and restaurants nearby in the Belvedere Square Market. Was promised they'd be done in an hour, returned 90 mins later and they still weren't done. Waited at the store for another 90 mins. Very ridiculous. read more

Whoever the woman was who was working tonight 04/04/2023 (apparently she worked a double today) had a disgusting attitude. From the moment I walked into the store at 8:30pm. She immediately hollered out "what time is it!?" She then proceeded to use profanity talking about what she wouldnt do for us customers, since she was tired and had kids waiting for her at home. When I asked for assistance, she responded with silence & when I asked if anyone else was in the store that could help she quickly responded with no (even though there WAS one other worker there I had spotted when i first walked in) and did not offer any assistance. As if she wasnt rude enough, she then proceeded to count down at me and the other customers in the store threatening to shut the printers down if we were not finished printing at the end of her countdown. Fire her immediately, im sure you all know who im speaking of. My only regret is not getting her name, I was so disgusted I could not even look at her. read more

Staples on York Road has the best team/customer service of any of the retailers in the area. Their staff is incredibly friendly - always seem to be happy. They will go out of your way to help you. I went in today needing help on something that they couldn't solve, but Eric who was in their technical desk (deals with the CDs) went above and beyond to help me understand the situation. I disagree with every review that is posted here on poor customer service. I'm there a lot for help mailing, print etc and have always had an outstanding experience. read more

For the first time in my life I feel like I was openly discriminated against for being fat. Staples York Rd (Baltimore) refused to get the chair I needed off of the shelf and lied telling me only the floor model was on clearance. I got home and talked to my wife about it and she said "call another location and check". I called the Timonium location and they told me that particular chair was on clearance PERIOD. I the called back to the store where I made my purchase and the manager who told the employee to lie to me was gone for the evening. I called back on yesterday and spoke to the manager(Mike) who told the employees to lie to me and he said "well, because of the size of the box we didn't feel comfortable getting it down". I told him "I would have rathered you just said that and I would've come back and picked it up but you chose to have someone lie to me and pretty much forced me to purchase the used chair by lying and saying it was the only one on sale" his remedy was "I can give you 20% back since you purchased the floor model". This place is a hot mess. I stood in line at a register that was lighted, but when I got to the front, the cashier told me that the lady before me was his last customer. Really, you couldn't have turned off your light before I got in line? I moved into the next lighted line. They closed that out, too. So they only have 2 cash registers, and neither of them rings customers up? I went to a makeshift line. As soon as I got there, the first line started ringing people up again?! Come on, people. The first person I spoke with here gave me a blank look when I needed help with business cards. I did get adequate svc afterwards from a young lady, but then when I went in on a separate occasion for something else she gave me poor service. It was like I was dealing with another person. When asking her questions about a fax I had been waiting on she didn't seem that interested in helping me. In addition to that she would not even call me when my fax arrived. I dont even think their fax machine works because I waited half an hour and still didn't receive it fr the business I had been waiting on for that time. read more

Yeah, that was NOT easy. On multiple occasions, extremely slow service with a very unknowledgeable staff. It would be nice if they could fix the huge eye-sore sign out front that says "TALES" at night instead of "STAPLES". If it wasn't one block from my house I would not have gone here more than once... but I have and I realize that is my mistake. First time, I bought a Brother printer, when I got home the box (apparently re-packaged) was missing all connecting wires. I took the printer back and got some not so nice looks - like I really want to cheat staples out of some random printer cables. So, come to find out, they actually sold me a discontinued printer, and there were no replacements in stock. Decidedly NOT easy. My second adventure was just last week, since I never was able to buy a replacement printer, I had to print out a form, so I thought I'd pop in to the print center. Both computer terminals were down. After 20 minutes of waiting for the print center guy to finish whatever print job he was working that had him completely perplexed, I decided to ask on of the 6 staff employees who were standing around near the service desk (2 cashiers, one Gil breaking Dow boxes, and three guys having a very colorful conversation at the 'support' desk. "You need to talk to the Copy/ service center for that" one cashier stated. I told him that the copy/service guy was obviously too busy to even let me know when he'd be free to help. "Yeah, he gets really busy" was the response I got. To be fair, the girl crushing boxes came over and tried to help, but She had no idea how to reboot the systems, so that was pointless, but I appreciated the effort. I left 40 minutes later without my single page print job completed. My advice, just don't with this store. Save yourself the headache. YIKES! read more

Worst experience I have ever had at a Staples. I tried to have invitations printed from a USB drive. I was put on a computer without any instruction other than "Put it in a template," and received no assistance, even when I requested it. I considered buying a printer to do it myself at home, but couldn't get any help to tell me what kind of printer I would need. In the end I left without having my invitations printed and without a printer. I will never return to this store. read more

I had a report to have printed for work. The copy center employee suggested I do it on the self serve printers. I said that's not what I am looking for-- I want to know your availability to have this done for tomorrow. He said, "I have a fair amount of work." I take from that - I don't want your work. I called back to let the manager know that's the level of customer service received and she stated that he is their best man. She did not care that he did not even try to get my business.. When I called FedEx, they WANTED my business. They were exactly the opposite. Sorry, Staples. You failed me. I recommend you get a new manager and a new Best Guy at the copy center or teach them about customer service. read more

Yeah the stores clean and well stocked but the employees suck. Went in to print a piece of paper and the internet was so crap it wouldn't load. I went to ask the employees at the print station about it and they straight up ignored me. I said "hey I'm have problems with the computer". There were 2 employees back there at a computer behind the counter. One looked at me and muttered something unintelligible and pointed around. The other said nothing. Another lady came up to the desk and goes "I'm having trouble loading this blue paper into the printer can you help me?" Same treatment. The lady employee actually tried to come over to us but the other guy called her back and they went back to ignoring us. Honestly Iv'e never been so bothered by a store that I leave a review. But seriously the guy didn't even say something like 'oh we're finishing something give me a second'. They just went back to looking at the computer like we weren't standing 6 feet away. It was just terrible customer service. I'm not a dick to customer service workers because I work in the same depertment but... Plus they never have more than one register open. read more

I had the best experience with Staples printing this morning! I ordered a "rushed" print job of about 44 pages in color for a school assignment, last night around 10:00pm. The online order confirmation indicated that the print job would be ready by 10:00am this morning. An hour and a half earlier, at 8:30am, I received a notification that the job was ready for pick up. As soon as I arrived at the store, they located my print job for me immediately. I had no wait time. The gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant and helpful, and the other workers were just as cheerful as I exited the store. As a law student under stress from finals, I was so delighted to have such a painless experience. I recommend this Staples' printing services to anyone who needs a quick printing job done well! read more

I found this store listed as a UPS center. I needed to know if they receive larger packages as some places do not - so I called. After annoying ads and seemingly endless music I hung up. This was after 3 minutes on hold. If they treat customers who are calling to give them business this poorly, I am not going there to find out how they treat people who are already there. read more
