I have shopped at this particular Staples location several times previously, and have always had a good experience. Today, I stopped here to 1) drop off a prepaid UPS package at the shipping center and 2) pick up a few items for my office. The lady working at the shipping center was very kind and assisted me as soon as I arrived at the counter. She immediately scanned my package for check-in and allowed me to position my extremely large package in the designated drop-off location behind the front desk area. She then asked me if I would like a receipt and of course I sad yes. After that, I went on to pick several other items: Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape, Paper Towels, Pentel Mechanical 0.5 Fine Point Lead Pencils, Cannon 251 XL Printer Ink Cartridges and a Staples Universal Desk Drawer Organizer. I pretty much found most of the items without a problem, since I have previously shopped at this location. However, I was having some difficulty finding my office desk drawer organizer, and a wonderful gentleman who worked there named Ryan assisted me and pointed me in the right direction. He led me to the exact item I needed and was very kind and accommodating; he even asked me, "is that all you need?" and walked away with a smile. While I was standing in line at check-out, with only 1 person in front of me, another cashier called me over to his aisle and took care of me. Overall, a solid 4 star rating in my book. Horrible service. Tried to print a few documents for school. They instructed me to go to the printer to insert my flash-drive. It did not recognize "word" files. The girl who was working said "sorry sometimes it doesn't" and walked away. No help, no alternative. I would not waste my time trying to use printing services here. This place is a joke. read more

I did an online print order and when I arrived for pick up, the store did not have the correct paper in stock and Julez helped me find an equivalent paper type to meet my needs. Called to inquire about custom banners, was put on hold for an hour. Hung and called back and was told that the print representative was busy and did not know when she would be able to take the call. Needed to buy ink, and paper for my new printer, service was great. The manager showed me where to go and located the right ink cartridges for my printer immediately. Line was long to checkout manager had me go to the copy center to check more quickly and it worked! I'll be back! read more

I hate to even have to post this but I don't want anyone else to have to go through the mess I did. Unfortunately, I don't see myself using Staples again for anything important. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had. I understand that staffing is low and there are shipping delays, however, there is no excuse for shoddy work and poor attitudes. My order was guaranteed to arrive on December 14th but did not arrive until December 17th after I had called several times with no clear answers. When I called this location, the worker didn't understand what I was asking when I inquired when I could expect the order and literally hung up on me. Finally, the order came and it was done completely off center. I'm sending these cards out to important clients and don't even feel comfortable sending something so shoddily done. To make matters worse, they also neglected to put 50 envelopes in with my 175 card order. So now I have 50 cards with no envelopes. I ordered printing from here because it had the fastest "guaranteed" time and I thought it would save me the time of self-printing. I wish I'd just printed these out at home. It would've been done better and more quickly. Corporate seriously needs to evaluate this location. It's ruining their name and turning away past customers. There goes over $100 down the drain. read more

I returned an item that was paid for on my visa debit card. My reciept plainly shows "debit" transaction. When I referred to the GM of the store he said the register only allows them to return as credit. This is fraud and misrepresentation. Especially since the back of their receipts plainly says your refund will be given by the same method of purchase. He then stated that I made the purchase with my debit card but it was done as credit. I said why does my receipt show "debit" and he said that's just the kind of card you have. The inability to understand banking and his companies policies were very upsetting. Furthermore the level of customer care and ability to want to resolve the problem was ZERO. I will not be shopping at this location again. read more

The location has a good selection of small business office supplies; my husband can appreciate that. The overall selection is good; I've never looked for a supply that I couldn't find. On the flip side, the copy center is slooooooow. Midday on a work day, I can understand but broken machines, down computers and unorganized lines only further exaggerates the situation. SMH, poor girls behind the counter; they're moving a mile a minute yet the line is slower than a snail. A quick tip on the fax machine, it's self-service and you can pay for your fax in the regular lines which a likely to be shorter and than the copy center line. read more

So slow! They have plenty of staff working but I constantly wait for 15 - 20 minutes to complete one simple task at the copy center. I was having trouble with the copy machine and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come help me. The experience was just ok. I went in wanting to access my email and print a document for Equifax disputes. So I was a little anxious but felt that this was a good fit to achieve my goal. There were only two printers- the one I wanted was out of order. So that was the first strike. The second strike and many other followed because the staples employee who had assisted me and another woman who was having the same issue kept wandering off - with another solution, she shared with us information about a Staples feature called "print me". Print me is a feature where you could send an email of your documents to a Staples copy machine and then receive a code in the form of a reply. Then you take the code and enter it into the copy machine. Well that didn't work either. So I think Staples is growing with "torchlight technology". They are at the beginning of a super merge with Office Depot so their potential to be excellent is in the works! Don't get me wrong. The help that was available was good- and their were quite a few people in the building. I remember one employee who was very nice and she assisted me as best she could. I didn't get here name- or anyone else's for that matter but I do remember that this was her first day. She was very nice and she smiled a lot - and just like the other employees who were there- you can't knock them for trying. Doing your best at any given moment is what this culture is all about. I use this store for two main reasons: store pick-up and shipping services. Store pick up is typically quite fast. Shipping services depends. I have had to wait quite a while to drop something off (already labeled, but needed receipt) because the staff was dealing with printing/copying services. I took like 10 seconds. Yet I had to wait 5-10 minutes. I really appreciate that you can drop off both UPS and USPS. There is a small mail slot on the island if you just need to drop off a letter. Currently undergoing renovations, but they are still open. I look forward to the new design and layout. Check out their sales. read more

What a miserable store full of helpless know-nothing unprofessionals. When they hadn't received, let alone processed, my in-store pickup order, they insisted I purchase my item AGAIN (double-paying), AND bear the burden of calling some 800 number to fix their mistake. Very poor customer service this evening. I came into pick up an order and they let me leave with half of it in the printer when I called there was no apology just "So what do you want me to do" when I got there she pulled them straight out of the copier. Didn't count them. Didn't put them in a box. She did ask me if I had counted them myself...very poor customer service. It's not difficult to apologize nicely once and be accommodating when that's all it would have taken to smooth over a simple mistake. So after speaking with the copy/print supervisor whose name has escaped me, my embosser and stamp were reordered and I was reimbursed for them. When my stamp arrived, it was not the correct stamp I ordered, and the manager again reordered the correct one for me at no charge. They were horrible in the beginning, but at least the manager did everything she could to make it right in the end. I would not go back here for printing, but again, she did rectify the situation the best she could and was very helpful and professional, which I cannot say about the rest of the copy/print staff. read more

First, make sure you don't get Marcus. It took me 3 hours to make 100 paper copies. 3 hours. They repeatedly lost the order, which really baffles me. Then, they placed me on hold for 30 minutes - I assume they forgot, because another sales associate picked up and greeted me. When I said I had been on hold, she replied 'oh' and put me back there. I finally get the order processed. However, when I got to the store, it took 20 more minutes to talk to someone. I could have hand written the information 100 times in this time. read more

Spent 1.5 hours just to drop off a file to print in the afternoon. There wasn't even many people there. They said it would take 4 hours maximum. After 5 hours I heard nothing back, so I called them to check. First the lady on the phone said there was no order under my name. After 5 minutes on the phone with her, she changed her mind said she had my order and asked me to pick up at 8 pm. I arrived at 8:30 to pick up my order. Then I was told to wait another 30 minutes. And everyone there refused to take responsibility for telling me the pick up time was 8:00 pm. I'm still waiting for my pages getting printed. Literally the worst printing experience ever! I hope they don't end up telling me they lost my order again! read more

i really don't like this store. the staff consistently steer me in the wrong direction. i purchased a fellows shredder on sunday. the box was "dinged" and i specifically asked about it. the sales person said it was just the box - the shredder was fine. well, it wasn't. it was broken where it was "dinged". i called and asked if they could bring me another and pick this up. i'm 6 miles from the store and they do have trucks that are out all day making deliveries, right? i see them on the road all day. but no, they can't. i checked out other stores and found it at Target for $100 less than Staples. I paid $269 - and see today that it's on sale for $202. that's ok -i still got it cheaper. Oh, and i ordered it on sunday and received it today- tuesday. thank you Target. I called this location on a Saturday at 1:30pm. The sales associate forwarded me to the copy/print center, and I waited for 10 minutes on hold before giving up. I recently moved to the area and had always defaulted to Staples for all my office needs, but I'll be looking elsewhere now. After reading the reviews below, I'm not surprised. Whoever is managing this place should do himself the favor of firing the print/copy staff (or yourself) for being incompetent. You're bleeding customers. read more

I ran to Staples just before closing to have some important material bound for an early meeting the following morning. I was originally told the earliest I could pick it up was noon the following day. But, David Robinson, one of the Copy and Print employees, went out of his way and saved the day and bound it that evening. This kind of customer service is what sets this Staples apart from others. Horrible customer service. I came into the Ponce location on Friday afternoon to SUBMIT an order and was told I COULD ONLY submit that order online. It was a same day service that I expressed I didn't need until Sunday morning. (Due to snowy weather in Atlanta). Dawon told me I could NOT submit the order in store at all --no option. He said I needed to go home and submit the order online. I had other errands to run so today so I didn't make it home before they closed early due to weather. Today (Saturday) I wake up to submit the order online only to be confused AGAIN. Hence why I waisted my time going up to staples Friday to submit my order for the same day service. I called another location that offered to help if I came in the store. She also mentioned that I could have very well submitted my order in person since I had it on a flash drive AND in email form already. I called the ponce location as soon As I hung up and spoke to a manager Keem. Told him my concerns and how I felt his employee waisted my time all together and didn't do the job he's getting paid to do. I have an event tomorrow (Sunday) and I could have knocked this out yesterday, now they are opening late due to weather and I still have to wait bc only 2 people are in the store. Keem never apologized so I asked him before we hung up "do u understand my frustrations about being lied to?" He said "I'll follow up with Dawon". Nothing else. Then proceeds to say again that I can come in and do it on the computer. I felt ignored and I am extremely disappointed in my visit with staples on pounce de Leon. I had one of their custom 12x12 canvas pictures made,in which I prepaid for, only to be disappointed at the quality. It was blurry, and was told it must of been because the size of the file. I say, then you should of informed the customer of that at the time the file was presented. Do you people even know what you are doing? I will no longer do business with them. I showed up at 6pm on the dot Sunday evening needing to mail a package. The store closes at 6. My phone literally said 6:00 while I stood at the door (I showed it to (roysopp bobb, the employee who wouldn't let me in). I understand that he didn't have to let me in even though I explained that I just needed to quickly mail one package and there were 10-20 customers wandering the store. However, he didn't have to be rude and tell me he didn't care what I needed to do or that I couldn't come back during the week. Needless to say I won't be going back to this store. read more
