This place is a racket. First, the parking lot is awful, I hate it. There's so much traffic just to get into this shopping center where Staples is located. I came in to make an Amazon return. There was a guy at the counter in front of me who was having some sort of issue. 2 employees were behind the counter, yet I stood there for eons waiting to be helped. The customer clogging up the line walked away for at least 7-8 mins. The cashier could have easily held up his transaction while he was in the store searching for whatever, but did she? Nope. When I was finally helped, it took about 60 seconds. Took me wayyyyy too long to make a return. read more

I've been to this staples 12-15 times in the past few months. The waits are often very long despite the store never being packed. The service is not great, responses to questions or requests are often short, or delivered in a way that feels like I've done something wrong, like I'm being chastised. Yesterday, I came by and the person who helped me at the printing center was fantastic. They helped with a handful of items I needed for my boss. Very patient. Very through. Today, I came by and asked for the same service, that is, I wanted to give them my print me code so they could print 5 items in cardstock. First they told me they couldn't do that. When I said that yesterday someone else did, they said, well it will be a while. I've been here a lil over 45 minutes now waiting for them to print five sheets for me. And then and then, I was asked to create an account in order for them to complete my order. And then the total came out to $14, when yesterday a similar job came out to about $6. Perhaps their business model is to provide such poor customer service you just give up and buy all the printer stuff you need so you can do it yourself? I waited by the checkout counter to checkout for several minutes and no one came to help me checkout. They knew I was there and were prioritizing other less important things and being inefficient. Instead I got their attention and said that I'm not buying this anymore, set the product I planned to buy down on the counter, and I walked out. I do not plan to ever go back. Needed to sign up for TSA pre-check since the Atlanta airport just closed 3,000 parking spots, and would you believe it, Staples is there for you. There is a kiosk inside that serves a couple of people at a time. Make an appointment. It's difficult to get here during rush hours from anywhere in Atlanta. The attendant was very helpful and quick. It's a bit of straight forward process so don't expect too much other than to get in and out and on your way. read more

I know retail is a difficutl job especially in the current economic climate. The staff here does what they can BUT the managment is less than useful. Several months ago I went in to get my passport photo done. 2 of the 3 computers were down and the only woman working that department was on the phone with customer service trying to fix AND help customers. Her manager came over complained about the line and then said he needs to get it moving because he wants his stool back so he could sit down - never offered to help OR to get someone to help. It took 3 attempts to get my photo all due to staffing issues. Today I went in with 2 packages to be sent via UPS. Labels were printed I just needed them scanned. Same manager stood next to the clerk and organized some plastic bags. Refused to answer questions for all of us standing in line. When I got in line the woman at the counter had been there already for a 1/2 hour because she had a LOT of returns and wasn't ready. I could tell the clerk wanted to tell her to step aside until she was ready but the manager just stood there and didn't help resolve the situation. When those of us in line asked if he could just scan our packages - we didn't have returns and our stuff was ready he just walked away from us. Sadly this was the same manager and he intentionally wears his badge turned so you can't see his name. I feel really bad for the 2 other employees there (as that is all there ever seems to be) as he just stands there watching but never actually does any work that I can see. read more

*Short Version* I visited this location on 7/31/2025. I needed copies made ( 6 plain copies) An employee assisted me at the printing machine. I finished my transaction using my debit card. Total amount of transaction was $1.90. Looked at my account the next day. Staples debited my account $10. ! I calmly called the store to ask if this is their policy...The employee told me that it's a 24 hour hold on the $10. I was in need of signage after being selected as a vendor for a weekend Market event. I placed an same day order for their print service and later found the location was behind on orders, due to a unexpected order increase for the weekend. The staff understood my circumstances, along with other customers situations and executed the print jobs! Shoutout to Judy and Will for managing that entire situation and their staff. Without them the staff has no sense of urgency and lack customer service/ troubleshooting. They deserve a two thumbs up and more!! Two stars. One star for the print guy calling me back and telling me that he in fact could not print my order because it wasn't an actual blueprint. I've been getting large copies done via blueprint copies for a few years and just had this done at another Staples with no problem. He claimed all the staples got new printers and they just wouldn't print with that ink. I didn't need the prints after this particular exhibit, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a poster that I would no longer need. I explained this to him, but...he kind of didn't care. I called back and was put on hold for over 15 minutes to ask another question, to which I got shot down. I was in a crunch, so I ended up spending $70 on two posters that I also needed laminated. I didn't want to spend that much, but needed them asap (and I called the guy and asked if they would be ready the next day, to which he said yes). Well, I didn't know this staples was far from where I was exhibiting and was close to an Office Depot...who...had the exact same blueprint printer and...you guessed it..printed what I needed. I went out of my way to go by Staples after the fact, since I paid for the posters and lo and behold, they didn't even laminate the damn posters! I came to do my TSA pre check at this staples. I did not have an appt so just wanted to see how it would go. I asked the woman this am 9-7 10am if I could sit while I waited. She said sit over there and ignored me. After the man was finished, she said sit there and pointed to the chair like I was a dog. Kept calling people up and I get that they had appts. So I said, excuse me, do you have appts all morning? She said yes and sit until I get an opening. I feel like she totally hated me and so I left. When purchasing a printer... visit these guys. My home/office printer crashed after years of abuse. These things only happen when you really can't afford not to have it nor the expense of replacing it & ink. I had a coupon for another chain. I went to several of their stores to find low morale and basically no inventory. They wanted you to order online from the store...absurd unless you have to have a particular model. I gave in and ordered it. After my order failed to arrive, I decided to try Staples. I wanted inexpensive, reliable printer, with ink that would be easy to find and not cost a fortune. The clerk sensed my frustration and got a different clerk who basically knew every model. Avanni was incredible! she pointed out several printers that matched what I wanted. The one I purchased, I had not even noticed on the shelf but happened to be a brand I know & trust. She pointed it out because ink price & availability. She knew they kept it stocked because so many teachers used it. By the time I was checking out, it ended up be less expensive than the problematic other store with the coupon for a brand I knew nothing of and no ink. What a value!! Did I mention, they had plenty of inventory. You can actually take home your purchase... how novel! The employees were happy to help me and very knowledgeable. Needless to say, I'll be returning to Ponce Staples in the future without any detours. read more

This location is perfect for me and as someone who has paperwork printed weekly for work, it seemed like a match made in printing heaven. However...I was wrong and the relationship was forged somewhere else a little hotter and less able to get some printing correct and on time. I live less than a mile from this place and I now will drive to the FedEx further up Ponce or will even go to the Office Depot at Edgewood to avoid the terrible attitudes of the print staff and the number of problems that seem to occur with a basic print job. While this place is in a great local, it is definitely worth your time to travel a little further and put your printing job, no matter how small or large, in the hands of someone that knows how to smile and complete a job correctly. read more

TSA Precheck is awful at this location (Ponce). Arrived on time for my appointment and was asked a few questions like "you know we have to take a picture, right"....I answered ok, then she said "you know your hat has to come off", once again I said ok looking puzzled because the lady working the kiosk assumed that I would have a problem with taking my hat off and she probably was trying to use that a deterrent to make me cancel. But after she saw that didn't bother me, she said I could have a seat on aisle 17 and she would call me....30 min passed, no call so I went back up there to ask how much longer and she basically said- oh ma'am it's going to be a while....so what's the point of an appointment! 5 stars because I needed to shred some papers (like 10 pounds - yay for spring cleaning) and Staples offers this service. You bring all your stuff in, and they put it in a locked Iron Mountain bin. Then the bins get sent off for shredding, similar to how a lot of offices handle it. The cost is $0.99 per pound. Only downside is that a Staples employee has to put the papers in the bin for you, so you have to stand there while they do it, and if they are busy, you will have to wait. Unless you're fine to trust them to do it on their own. I appreciate them having this service and I am sure I'll use it again. read more

The prices are a bit high on laminating supplies and computer hardware (mouse and keyboards, especially). The really young (high school age?) checkout guy was adamant that I join the customer club for some strange reason--even though I only go there about once per year. I asked for a printed confirmation and was given a printout of the Job details being incorrect. (I still have this printout). I NEVER RECEIVED REFUND. So I never re-ordered. Came here to get verified for TSA after making an appointment online. Appointment was for 11:40am and got here to see a long line at the TSA enrollment area. After waiting 20 minutes, the sole employee in charge of operating the device walked out of the store unannounced, leaving 3 customers waiting. Do not schedule an appointment near their 12pm-1pm "lunch." The manager is no where to be found to offer any help. Ended up waiting 1.15 hours to finally have a 10 minute appointment. The Staples copy center guy almost made me cry! Boo. I have been a loyal Staples-preferred customer for many years. This is in part because I like their clear neon plastic flag things and because for awhile, they were the only place that carried the retractable highlighters I liked. I also had better experiences with their copy services than Kinko's. I needed some emergency business cards made on the same day. The reason was because I could not get the business-card-making thing on the website to work despite that I had been trying sporadically for a couple of weeks. I called this Staples store, and inquired whether same-day business cards was possible. A woman said sure. Because I didn't have a flash drive for my logo, she told me to e-mail it to a specific e-mail address. I asked her what to put in the email. She didn't seem to know of a protocol, so she just said to put my name in it. Ok, fine. I sent the e-mail and headed to Staples. I head straight for the copy center, and there is a guy staring intently at his computer screen. I stand there a moment, and then he asks "May I help you?" in a sort of formal and slightly snotty tone. Trying to lighten the mood, I say I'm having an emergency business card situation with a smile, and he doesn't bite. Okay... I then say I had e-mailed the logo. He says "I don't see it in here." I say, um... I sent it, it's called logo.JPG. He asks when, I say within the last hour. He says, "well, it's not here," and explains that the e-mail is not always reliable. I reiterate that I had sent it. I ask if I can get it from my own email or from the internet, and he says no, they don't have internet access except access to the Staples mailbox. This strikes me as implausible - if they have a policy against it, fine, but tell me that and don't just make up stuff. He sighs, decides to look again, and asks what the e-mail was titled. I said I didn't remember the exact subject line but I think it was my name. He then magically finds the e-mail, and says "this isn't a JPG file, we can only use JPG files." And I said, actually, it is a JPG file. He says, it will only open as an HTML file and when he right-clicks it it won't save as a JPG. I said that's kind of crazy, as it is a JPG. He then says it isn't, and they only take JPGs. He says he could possibly save it into publisher but then he'd have to make it into 600x600 and it would "become pixelated." I say, again, it IS a JPG, and well, all of this would have been very nice to know over the phone. He basically accuses me of being an idiot and downloading the JPG incorrectly from a website or something. This entire conversation is being spoken condescendingly without apology or regret at all, even given the obvious misinformation I'd been given over the phone. I eventually say I'm going somewhere else and leave, really frustrated and slightly embarrassed, as he has been making me look like a fool in front of other customers. I go to Kinko's, check the e-mail I sent to the Staples guy, and the ATTACHMENT WAS A JPG - I do not know what the hell his problem was, but I do know that it was not me who was the idiot. I am never giving Staples copy center my business again. I will explain my slightly strange but much more pleasant experience at Kinko's in a review of that business. read more

Yolanda was horrible and rude not only did she deny us service after attending to three other walk ins but it was due to her RACIALLY PROFILING my mom. Once we talked to the manager Will and told him our unfair treatment after 3 hours and numerous walk ins being attended we got service. During the TSA pre check she was rude and did not help us AT ALL through the confusing process. On top of it all she was unprofessional and was yelling at my mom questioning her parenting. Once the process was done she told us nothing about the next steps and rudely yelled at us to leave. When I tried to go back and ask for more information she yelled at me telling me she was done with me. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE staples needs to do an investigation on her racial profiling, denying of service and unprofessional yelling. NEVER come to this staples. read more

They down-sized recently in space, but I think it's been a good decision. It makes finding items a lot easier. Things are more organized, and the store looks a lot cleaner overall. They had a lot of unnecessary items before the renovations anyway. The store is never insanely busy so shopping is always pleasant and never hectic. Employees are readily available to help and in a good mood. They have a good variety of items from office supplies to home goods. It's a great one stop shop (especially when they have sales that occurs quite often). If you're not signed up for their rewards membership, then I would highly suggest it. Points that you collect convert into reward money you can spend on anything. It does take some time to accumulate, but if you're a consistent Staples shopper, then it's definitely worth it. read more

The gentleman in the Staples Shipping Center watched me package my box with a lamp and vase, helped me tape it up, helped me mark it as fragile and send it off. The lamp shade was crushed during delivery, and UPS wouldn't cover the cost of the damage claiming an issue with the packaging. Staples Shipping was of no assistance. Was looking for spiral bound notebooks and found them slightly pricier than other stores for the amount. I got side tracked looking at laptop carry cases and I found that many of the cases found under their respective prices were just placed randomly, with barely a label or price tag on most of them. So why am I giving this location 3 stars instead of 2? The customer service! I grabbed a floor rep and asked if he could tell me the prices of a couple of cases or at least find the case priced at what I wanted, and he took a good 10 minutes searching on his computer or on the floor for the desired case. Through a lot of hard work, we finally tracked one down, although I never did get the spiral bound notebook I originally went in for, but the customer service got this location an extra star! I stopped by Staples yesterday to recycle an old printer and laptop. They haven't worked for 3 years, so clearly it was time to get rid of them in an eco-friendly way. I was amazed at how simple it was to recycle them. It took all of 3 minutes for me to drop them off, no paperwork, nothing. The employees were friendly and helpful. I was concerned about clearing the hard drive before getting rid of the computer. For about $30 they will wipe it clean for you. I opted to take my hard drive home with me to destroy on my own instead. They popped it out of the computer and I was on my way. I definitely recommend this Staples if you're looking to do any electronic recycling. read more

This Staples is my go to for all of my office supplies. Not only is it in my neighborhood, but they have a great selection, as well as anything else you would like to add to your office (ex. computers, printers). Where it is located in the shopping center...there's always plenty of parking in front, as well. The staff has always been friendly and pretty knowledgeable about this merchandise. I've also never had any problems with their copy/printing center...great staff there, as well. I really don't have much to say about this Staples...it's near where I live, but I don't frequent here often. I get in and get out when I do go. However, when I went the other week, I didn't receive the best customer service in the printing area. The sales associate saw another guy and myself in line, however, she proceeded to do a job she had already started, which was putting tons of paper into a shred box. This woman never acknowledged us or anything and continued this task for a few minutes. The guy and I just looked at each other and laughed. She knew we were there but just didn't give a damn. I have shopped at this particular Staples location several times previously, and have always had a good experience. Today, I stopped here to 1) drop off a prepaid UPS package at the shipping center and 2) pick up a few items for my office. The lady working at the shipping center was very kind and assisted me as soon as I arrived at the counter. She immediately scanned my package for check-in and allowed me to position my extremely large package in the designated drop-off location behind the front desk area. She then asked me if I would like a receipt and of course I sad yes. After that, I went on to pick several other items: Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape, Paper Towels, Pentel Mechanical 0.5 Fine Point Lead Pencils, Cannon 251 XL Printer Ink Cartridges and a Staples Universal Desk Drawer Organizer. I pretty much found most of the items without a problem, since I have previously shopped at this location. However, I was having some difficulty finding my office desk drawer organizer, and a wonderful gentleman who worked there named Ryan assisted me and pointed me in the right direction. He led me to the exact item I needed and was very kind and accommodating; he even asked me, "is that all you need?" and walked away with a smile. While I was standing in line at check-out, with only 1 person in front of me, another cashier called me over to his aisle and took care of me. Overall, a solid 4 star rating in my book.
