Logistics are a crucial (and constant) part of my business. I've used shipping supply stores and shipping drop offs in 4 different states and I am honestly overtly surprised by the quality of service at this place. When it comes to this kind of business I have come to expect the OPPOSITE of courtesy, efficiency or any comprehensive understanding of the systems necessary to execute the tasks at hand. This location has been a 100% exception to my regular experience. As this is my closest UPS provider I've made somewhere between 10-20 drop-off's or purchases here and EVERY single time I have: - Not had to wait in line because, - They seem to have an ENDLESS amount of employees on hand, who are - Courteous and friendly to the extent that it is almost DISARMING, and - I feel like I always walk away completely surprised at the quality of service. I can't say much for UPS the company having grown up with my mother and several friends working in their warehouse on Fulton Industrial (we know that U.P.S. is an acronym in that place..) and having shipping artwork and objects with UPS, FedEx, USPS Pilot, DHL and Plycon for years I've had my share of bad experiences with the UPS parent company at large... But (and this goes out to a lot of the people leaving crap reviews for a small business in your community just trying to achieve some modicum of success..) it's not fair to judge this 3rd party store for logistics failures rife through the overarching system, or for prices set by their corporate office. All you are entitled to is effective customer service, the availability of the products and services that are commonly assumed to be held by a UPS Store, and that they keep reasonable operating hours to maintain accessibility. Most stores like this fall flat in one or all of these aspects. This location has the uncanny honor of defying the status quo when it comes to how a small business that does not require secondary education for its employees and provides services at a modest cost to the general population typically operates. read more

UPS Store #5605 is a HUGE RIPOFF. On August 31, 2026, I stopped by the UPS Store #7914 by the Publix off of Hank Aaron Dr to pick up three - 20x12x12 boxes, which they charged me $10.75 for a piece. On September 2, 2026, I stopped by the UPS Store #5605 in Edgewood near the Target Store and picked up one - 20x12x12 box, which they charged me $14.00 for. That's almost an increase of 30%. For the same item. Also, they were super busy and didn't have time to help me pack this one thing, so I said, "Please give me the box and some tape and I'll do it myself." However, when I went into the other UPS Store off of Hank Aaron next to the Publix, they were just as busy but it didn't matter. They helped me right away. They could not have been any nicer. If you want to PAY MORE and receive no service, then go to UPS Store #5605 in Edgewood. But if you want great value with great service, then go to UPS Store #7914 by the Publix off of Hank Aaron. They had the WORST customer service. Especially the early morning-late morning crew. They just look at you when you walk in. They don't speak to you. They just continued to have their side conversation as if customers were not walking in. And if you spoke to them, they act as if they did not want to speak back and if you ask them a question about something, it's like they have a attitude, like, whatttt! this is your job. The best staff and management, the wait times are minimal, and they are knowledgeable. I've been using them for work and personal shipping/printing needs. The staff goes above and beyond to help you, they are patient and listen to your questions. They have street parking and parking in the complex with two entrances to the store making it super convenient. They offer printing, scanning, shipping, drop off, returns, etc The prices are reasonable and service is exceptional. I highly recommend them for all your business needs. read more

Writing this to make sure this store knows all the good things it has in place. First, unlike a nearby UPS store, they have Amazon scanners so you can easily return items. They don't charge you to tape up one small box because... some other UPS stores nearby do. They also are always vibing to 90s R&B and everything is very chill and casual and I really appreciate that because returning things and shipping is always kind of an annoying task. I wanted to make sure I shout this store out because I went to a UPS store that is just five minutes away from this one (yes...you're sensing a theme here) , and not only did they charge for tape, but they didn't have any of the newer technology for Amazon returns, and they tried to hide the lowest price available for shipping an item and quoted me at a rate that was $40 more than the actual lowest price. So instead of writing that one a bad review (I know being a small business owner is tough), I want to support the store that I typically go to which is this one. Keep doing a great job! The only downside is traffic on Moreland Avenue, but of course this store can't control that part. read more

The UPS on Glenwood in Reynoldstown has new management. DON'T GO HERE. They tried to charge me $98.00 for a 1.4 pound box that the other UPS charges $19.00 to ship to the same location. I complained to the new manager, a Mr. Patel, who was rude. The UPS in Inman park is also run by a Mr. Patel and tried to charge me $48.00 for the same package. For Now, the one on Caroline does not seem to be ripping people off but they have crappy service. Shipping in this country has become a real problem. read more

Kay, employee #184952 who identified herself as the store manager took 3 pages of important financial papers from me to copy. She did not allow me to make my own copies. I needed 2 copies of the 3 pages. One page was a one sided copy that was cut along a dotted line and 2 pages were two sided copies. I needed the one sided copy in a proper full sheet, the 2 other pages I needed copied like the originals front and back. Seems like a simple request. Kay placed the cut copy down on the screen without putting a blank sheet of paper behind it to make up the length and closed the lid down on the cut sheet. It printed sideways. I told her that she needed to put a sheet of blank paper behind it to make up the length. She ignored me, and turned the 1/2 sheet in another direction. The copy machine cut off the print. I told her several times how to get a correct copy as she fumbled and made several messed up copies, but she only got angry and told me if I didn't like it I could go to Office Depot. So I said nothing more. She gave up and walked away leaving me with nothing but a bunch of messed up copies. There was another employee there, so I asked her to make the needed copies. The employees have the key to the copy machines and make the copies. She had no problem making the copies correctly. When I got to the register Kay said, "charge her for 15 copies" eventhough I only wanted to pay for the correctly printed copies that the second woman made. So I said, "I'm not paying for the copies that you messed up". She told me to pay for all the copies or leave them there. I could not leave the copies because they contained confidential financial material. I said I was not responsible for messing up the copies and shouldn't have to pay for them. I also told her that I could not leave the messed up copies because of the private and confidential nature of the information within them. Then she said, "either pay for all the copies or I will call the security guard!" I said, are you're kidding? She responded by picking up the phone and calling a huge security guard who stood behind me and forced me to pay for "ALL" the copies even the messed up ones that she made. Then he escorted out of the store. I am 69 years old going on 70 soon and disabled. I have owned my home in the neighborhood where this UPS store is located for 40 years. I have used this UPS store several times in the past for copies, mailing and buying boxes and I have never been treated with such disrespect here or anywhere else in my life. The woman who called herself, "Kay" looked at me as though she "hated" me, although I have never seen her before. I complained to the corporate number 1-800-789-4623 ext 4, and was assured that UPS was very concerned about this incidence. None the less, I never heard back from the owner "Kirk McCoy". Even the employees behind the counter looked shocked and freightened judging by the look on their faces by "Kay's" behavior. UPS DESTROYED MY MARRIAGE!!! This December, I was expecting a delivery of 15 new sex toys and a drum of edible lube. UPS was 14-days late delivering them. They are privately owned and are able to rectify situations if necessary, however the manager, Beverly, chooses not to do anything to help you but rather redirects you to the corporate office and basically says "oh well it's not our fault". That's just not how you treat your customers when you have the authority to fix a situation that was one of your team member's fault. Team is not professional but nice enough, even provide some recommendations when it is something they're unable to do there. Location is convenient. I've dropped off packages, gotten notaries to sign documents, and made copies there. Space always feels chaotic and disorganized even when there aren't many customers. The layout and flow of customers is strange. There doesn't seem to be a system to the way they manage their work. And there have been many times I walk away feeling uneasy wondering if my packages are going to make it out of there. They do just fine, it just doesn't leave me feeling that way. Had a packet full of legal documents that needed to be notarized and instead of having us go to the side table to manage, they were doing it at the cash register where there was no space, they were bending the legal docs to sign them. Left me a little frustrated. Again, nice people, just not professional. Would like to see it managed a bit better. read more

I just went into this store with a package that I thought needed to be sent via UPS. I had called earlier and I was told that labels could be printed at the store, but when I got to the store, the associate coldly told me that "I had to take that to the postal office". I asked him about the card I had with me as well, and he said "yeah, that's the postal office too." All of the other associates laughed behind the counter, making this already poor experience even worse. We're in a day and age where customer service is of the utmost importance, and for all of those associates, and mine in particular, to make me feel the way I did in front of all of those other waiting customers is truly unacceptable. I expected better from such a large brand in the package industry. Those associates had zero idea the kind of day that I had before that experience, and their poor attitude in my interaction was the tipping point. I hope those associates see this review and change their attitudes, because the way they treated me was inexcusable. read more

Ok, so we had to get something notarized recently and these guys were our saving grace in the whole crap situation. They were so helpful and even knew exactly what we needed for the whole process with City Hall. Called before and then showed up about 15 minutes later. The guy remembered me from the phone and was SO NICE. He even said, "Oh, man. I'm sorry you have to go through this song and dance. But welcome to Atlanta regardless." Also, recently came in to ship some things overnight and the woman behind the counter was so nice and helpful. She was even cracking jokes with me! She also helped me pick out the right box to ensure the proper shipping time, price, and arrival dates. I was thrilled with my first "overnighting" experience. Last time I was returning a rug in the original packaging that was not opened and that was shipped to me via UPS they claimed they didn't ship items in that packaging so I would need to buy something from them. First and foremost, This particular UPS location(Edgewood) is always friendly with fast service. So Kudos to everyone working here! Today(7/6/22), I went to drop off my package, However, as soon as I stepped out of my car my left sandal broke, therefore, I had to walk in bare foot. The female rep. noticed me carrying my sandal with my package and she asked what happened. As we were talking, OC heard us discussing my sandal mishap and he immediately went into action repairing my sandal. He repaired my sandal in less than 15 minutes and I was able to finish the rest of my shopping in the plaza vs. Having to go back home and come back. This place is a dump. I wish I could rate it with a big fat zero. I walked in and it smelt as if someone had defecated in there. There were several young men that looked like thugs sitting around chit chatting. The guy at the register didn't speak when I put down my packages and if I had not addressed him he probably wouldn't have said two words. After shipping my 26" flat screen Samsung LCD TV from Long Beach, CA to Atlanta via UPS, it was only natural that I would turn to them again when I decided to move back to Cali. My mistake was wasting my time and energy at THIS location. When I lugged my TV into the store, I at least expected a more enthusiastic greeting, but all I got was "You're trying to ship that without a box?" I looked around and said, "This IS the UPS Store, right?" and not at all sarcastic. The clerk measured the TV and then said, "I don't think we have a box that we can put that in." I told him that the UPS Store in Long Beach did it perfectly and reminded them of their old slogan "We Pack, We Ship". The clerk again measured the TV as if it had grown a few inches since the last time he measured it, wrote the dimensions down on a UPS label and went to get his manager. I glanced at the label and next to the measurements, he had wrote down $200. WHAT? He hadn't even weighed the TV or asked me where was I shipping it - how in all of the hells did he come up with that figure? By the time the manager appeared, I had already made up my mind to leave. The manager repeated that they did not have a box that size, but what I really think is that they had no clue how to pack the TV. While he went to help another customer, I asked the clerk to call the Decatur location with the TV dimensions and ask if they can ship it. He said, "Um, we don't have their number." My jaw hit the counter. Even the manager was embarrassed and instructed the clerk to look it up, and basically that's all he did. He didn't call on my behalf and explain the situation, he just pulled out another UPS label and wrote the number down. Oh, but he was nice enough & made sure I had the measurements. Don't even waste your time at this location - RUN to the Decatur store. They are very professional and knows what they are doing. read more

The UPS store is my go-to for shipping large packages, forget the Post Office, this location is the real deal. I ship a lot of packages with work and rely on these guys quite a bit. What amazes me about this particular location is that no matter how long the line is when you come in, they are always well staffed and move the line along quickly - those folks at the Post Office could take lessons from their staff. I would advise you to go ahead and box up what you are going to send, it can get quite expensive if you have them pack and box items for you. There are those times that you just can't pack and box some odd shaped items - they've got you covered there. Great Mailbox service! If you need a mailbox, this is the place for you. Great shopping center off of L5P with target, best buy, kroger, ect. Staff is great. Of the many UPS stores in Atlanta I keep coming to this one. The folks that work there are good people. They've been super helpful, efficient and kind. The managers have been there for as long as I've been going there and that might be 10 years. Today, they couldn't read the bar code label because the box got rained on while waiting to be picked up at my house. Clearly, it didn't get picked up, so I took it in and they let me reprint free of charge. Such a nice thing to do. :) read more
