The Stanza Breakfast Sandwich is pretty good. It had a nice amount of ingredients and fresh, crunchy bacon. It's a good size for a breakfast sandwich, but could benefit from a better bun rather than a hamburger bun. I didn't see an option to customize this, but I think it would taste better on a Bagel, English muffin or croissant. This would make me more likely to order it again, as well as make the sandwich feel more premium for the price. Overall good experience and service here though!

Got an iced matcha latte & chicken arugula sandwich - stayed for around an hour to do work! Decent place to sit down and work although it can be a bit loud sometimes. Service is a bit on the slower side but there's not many people working there & the quality of food is good. My chicken sandwich was really really delicious! Couldn't tell but first bite made it taste like it was on garlic bread. The bread on the sandwich was great. However, I probably wouldn't recommend the matcha latte. It was quite a bit powdery & there was nothing in it to make it sweet. Overall, a bit on the expensive side for cafe food.

A trip to the Haight/Ashbury calls for venturing out to unique & funky stores. But when you might need that little pick-me-up, I highly recommend checking out "Stanza Coffee Bar". I've been to this part of San Francisco dozens of times in the past but this was my first time actually giving their coffees a try. Located directly on Haight St. and directly in between Cole St. & Belvedere St., Stanza Coffee Bar has been serving up delicious coffee and tea beverages ever since 2012. I came here with my significant other around 5:00pm on Saturday 7/20/19 as I was needed that extra caffeine boost to keep me going throughout the rest of the day and evening. The interior of this place is absolutely amazing. Inside you will see brick red walls with beautifully hand painted artwork. They also have a unique drip coffee display, a wine barrel, rich dark wood throughout, and very comfortable seating. Every square inch of this place exemplifies what the San Francisco coffee scene. And I personally the vibe and ambiance over other popular coffee shops in the city, primarily "Blue Bottle" and "Philz Coffee". Since the weather was a rather mild 66°, I ended up settling with an "Iced Mocha" (priced at around $5.00). I believe all the sizes here were the same (which was a 16 oz. Grande size). The cashier was very friendly and attentive. My drink was ready in less than 3 minutes as it was served in a clear plastic cup with biodegradable straw. The taste definitely had a nice rich espresso flavor while the chocolate was sweeter than most mochas I've tasted. This was not a bad thing as I prefer my espresso drinks to be a bit more on the sweeter side. Based on other reviews, many people rave about their Kyoto Iced Coffees, Lattes, and Chai Lattes. All in all, "Stanza Coffee Bar" is a great little coffee shop that I highly recommend when visiting the Haight. When you factor in the service, experience, ambiance, and taste, I will have to give this place a respectable four-stars.

The workers are insanely rude. Their response to me while laughing at me was: "You probably just didn't like it" when all I asked kindly was "Hi is it possible to switch my drink out I didn't really like it. It was watery to me" There's a million other ways to say it "I'm sorry it's against our policy / Sorry you experienced that" instead of staring at us blankly and laughing :) Don't order their watered down chai or let alone support rude owners.

This cafe is nice. I stopped here for the second time. I had an Americano or something. I don't know. It was a hot coffee and not just regular coffee. Kept me up all night. I talked to the owner and asked him about the coffee-making business. I wouldn't do that myself, would I? It's got a nice interior and people are quiet.

Every drink we ordered was honestly delicious, you can really tell they put care into the quality and flavor of each one. Their coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The staff was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We both loved our drinks, and I also appreciated the portion sizes--they were just right and really satisfying. I ordered the Velvet Matcha Cloud (a matcha latte with matcha cloud), and my sister got the Matcha Strawberry Cloud, which includes an organic matcha latte topped with house-made strawberry cloud and dried strawberries. Both drinks were beautifully made and tasted great. They also have a wide variety of drink options beyond matcha, including coffee classics like signature pour-overs and espressos, as well as tea and other hot drinks. Their food menu is just as extensive, offering pastries like crepes, croissants, scones, muffins, and even sandwich bites. I really loved the vibe inside Q! It's very aesthetic with a soft, creamy, almost cozy atmosphere. Since we went last Friday on an afternoon, it was quite busy with a mix of tech workers and college students working at tables, but the space still felt comfortable. The staff were kind and working hard despite how busy it was, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good drinks, a pretty atmosphere, and a productive café environment.

Sometimes you cannot tell the difference from Spring to Summer weather in San Francisco. There is no consistency when the sun will come out. When the sun comes out and Karl the Fog is on vacation people come out and look for something delicious and cold. There is one place you can enjoy a refreshing drink like matcha no matter the weather. It's located on Market street and Noe and it's called Oishii Matcha. On a sunny Market street stroll in San Francisco Don Juan de la Matcha landed at Oishii Matcha. Inside I scrolled and ordered using the kiosk. Since it was hot with the sun was out in the city I got the purple yam the Ube ice cream not on a cone but on a croffle ( part flakey croissant and waffle in SF). The Ube ice cream was not too sweet and was tasty and the croffle was soft and a bit crispy. I then had to wash it down with a refreshing Matcha Mango Latte with foam. The matcha was delicious and hit the spot . Now the only thing to consider next time is which nearby park spot I should hit to enjoy a Matcha. Will it be Dolores Park or Duboce Park or Noe & Beaver Community Garden ?( Questions in my Mind). Come get the real matcha and not the "phony"go to Oishii Matcha because it is organic ceremonial "only" so let's have a tea "ceremony" with Don Juan de La Matcha giving the true matcha "testimony" Fake matcha should be "unlawful" it is tasteless and the flavor is very "awful " at Oishii Matcha you can get the purple Ube ice cream on a "croffle" it's a cross between a flakey croissant and a "waffle"

Just a quiet marble table, a tiny vase with two yellow flowers, and a slice of matcha crepe cake that makes you forget what you were stressed about. I came in on a weekday afternoon and ordered the matcha crepe cake and a passion fruit refresher. The cake is the kind that looks almost too precise to eat. Dozens of paper thin layers stacked with the kind of patience most people reserve for things that actually matter. The matcha flavor is real, not the green tea powder imposter you get everywhere else. The drinks are thoughtful too. Not sweet for the sake of being sweet. You can tell someone actually tasted these before putting them on the menu. The space itself earns its own mention.
