Had a appointment on Saturday from 12-5 for an estimate for cleaning out my ducts. Already was not happy with the time frame of 12-5 on a Saturday, but figured they were busy and that's what it would take. Stanley steamer never called me or txt me with a E.T.A, just blew me out. Went over contact information several times, even confirmed I could receive txt messages. No excuse for being so inconsiderate of someone's time. Thank you for the complete disregard of a potential customer. Stanley Steamer has made several attempts to try and reschedule. They made no excuses just apologies. I find that refreshing in today market of such poor customer service. I will reschedule with them and give them another chance. read more

I hired Stanley Steemer to come out after I was given a quote. They sent to young guys out that were goofing around. My carpet was super wet and you could still see the dirt. It looked terrible when it dried. I had to pay another company to re-clean the carpet. read more

TWO MAN CREWS DISCONTINUED We have used Stanley Steemer for many years. Although they are more expensive than most independent carpet cleaning companies, their time and attention to detail has been always worth it. Sadly, that has all changed. Stanley Steemer crews used to do what they called the "White Towel Test". After cleaning, they would wipe the carpeting with a white towel in front of you, to show that your carpet was perfectly clean. They stopped doing that quite a while ago, but I continued using them because of their two man crews. Most companies send one guy, and one guy just doesn't cut it. One guy can't move furniture to properly clean a room. I had spinal surgery recently, so I am not able to move furniture. It was a no-brainer when we needed our carpets cleaned again, since Stanley Steemer always sends a two man crew. When the Stanley Steemer truck showed up yesterday, only one guy hopped out. I asked him where his partner was, he said he was it. After I expressed my dismay, he said Stanley Steemer cut back their work crews last year. I asked him if they cut back their prices as well, he just smiled. When I showed him what furniture needed to be moved, he said he would be glad to help me move everything. With my back, that was impossible, so only the uncovered portions of our rooms were cleaned. The guy did the best job he could and was very pleasant, but he was limited without any help. Stanley Steemer has lost me as a customer. I will instead search for a company that sends out two men to do the job right. read more

This is one of the worst decisions I've made this year. I feel I should almost contact the police as it's nothing more than theft. I had this Stanley Steemer guy come over from the next door neighbor. For 15 minutes at work, he charged $116. I pointed out that our cat had peed in 2 spots on the one year old carpet. Did he pretreat..no! did he say thing about it?..no. After he just basically soak the hell out of the rug he said if you want enzyme treatment that's gonna be another $60 more. What a con artist. Truck no 3117 He marked on the receipt that he raked all the clean area I don't know how he felt he raked it not!I Just grabbed his check and run out the door! Recently had Stanley Steemer come and service my carpet and tile. A serviceman by the name of Edward came and thoroughly cleaned each one of our bedrooms and rooms. He also cleaned the grout on the tile and did an exceptional job. I was so impressed with not only his effort in making sure the job was well done, but with the results... the carpet looks like new and the tile is totally clean/spotless. We will definitely be using Stanley Steemer again and we'll be requesting Edward for the job. read more

They gave us a three hour window and arrived right at the end of the third hour. No worries, however. Julian from branch 76 (Rancho Cucamonga) worked his tail off. Julian was amazing. Great attitude, super professional set up and tear down, and he worked at a fevered pitch. He knocked it out: carpet, couches and the stairs. Awesome. Thanks, Julian! I had one room needing service from Stanley Steemer. I made it clear when I made the appointment that I don't live at the property and I would need 30 minutes advance notice to be able to meet them. The morning of the scheduled maintenance, I received a text at 7:47 AM telling me that the technician was "on the way". Because I was on my way to my normally scheduled 8 AM workout with my personal trainer, I had to cancel that training session, But I still had to pay for it because of the short notice cancellation. After 30 minutes of waiting, I called the facility and asked where in the world is he because the tracker system link that was included in a text message, did not show where the technician was located. When I contacted the facility, they told me the technician HAD NOT RVEN LEFT their facility and was going to be at least another 45 minutes to an hour away!!! . I do not consider that to be "on the way". Stanley steamers does not have any respect for the time of their customers. It is a robotic company with no concern for a personal or professional relationship with their customers. I am a local real estate agent with over 35 years in this community and I will do everything I can to keep everyone from using Stanley Steemer. This is one of the worst experiences I have had in a very long time. My advice to you is to find a local steam cleaning company that will want to earn and keep your business. I have a gentleman like that but he was on vacation so I was in a pinch. Never ever again! Stanley steamers stinks! read more

I am so disappointment with the quality and work of this company. We scheduled for a carpet cleaning and tile/grout cleaning. The young guy who did both areas did a very,very,very poor job. When he left, our tile grout was still dirty (and dog urine was still embedded on the tiles). It looked like I just mopped the floor. The carpet looked "ok", and since it was still wet after he left, I couldn't see what stains were gone (or still left). Disappointed with the tile/grout, I immediately called the company and without a question, they sent out a new person the next day to clean the tiles. That guy did a good job (but it should have been done right the first time). Two days later, I'm inspecting the carpet, and THERE IS STILL DOG PISS on the carpet!!!! I am so, so, disappointed. He took time to explain it in complete detail and made sure that by the time he left I was comfortable and happy. The look of the tile and grout was startling. We are repeat customers who are not dissatisfied with the work completed in our home. A re-clean was requested for a high traffic area of our carpet when Omar from SS completed the cleaning task one day and the next day as the carpet dried some dark areas revealed themselves. We called and asked SS for a return service and were advised our choice of technician (Omar) would not be able to return because he had called off sick the day we requested. As posted in an earlier note, SS representatives had mislead us to believe Omar was sick and could not appear as we requested. We later became aware Omar was not sick and was on another job. Moving forward, Don from SS called and described himself as a quality control manager and wanted to apologize for the poor quality of service. We advised Don the quality of service was not the issue and Omar had done a good job. We just needed a small area re-cleaned because of our high traffic area. Don was advised the concern of SS was the dishonesty and being mislead our desired technician (Omar) was out  ill when in fact he was not. Don  went on to apologize and set up an appointment for Omar to return to our home for the re-cleaning we had desired. Omar arrived on the day specified to re-clean the high traffic area. I  Don arrived unannounced shortly after Omar to introduce himself and ask about the quality of work SS was providing. Don walked in the front door of our house without being invited as he seemed ok with entering uninvited. Not certain of Don's understanding of entering a home without being asked, however this is not ok with us! We asked Don, why are you here and why have you come to our home unannounced? Not all patrons are ok when someone other than who is expected arrives to your home. A simple phone call would have been appreciated! Don replied, he had come to check on the quality of work and to see if we were satisfied. Unfortunately Don has missed the point of our original complaint COMPLETELY. The quality of work was never in question. The lack of attention to what the customer was asking and being mislead was the issue. We are very particular about who comes to our home and enters our space, appreciate being advised in advance who may be coming. A surprise arrival to our home from Don was not what was needed. A simple apology for the dishonesty and customer service recovery does not include a visit from a quality control manager. SS team. Please listen to your customers and understand the quality control of honesty. read more

I spoke with this company back in Feburary of this year and scheduled an appointment. Before I set the appointment the woman I spoke with said they could guarantee the removal of pet urine stains and smell with a special product they use that would leave a citrus smell and would eliminate any existing odor from carpets. NOT TRUE! After about a month I checked out the carpets that were supposedly cleaned only to find more stains than were there prior to their services. Not only did the carpets look horrible but the odor was still there as well. I have not complained to Stanley Streamer about the terrible job they did because I wouldn't have them back out again, ever! No one should be guaranteed a service they can't provide. Well $500 later and nasty carpets I am now having to replace the carpets which is what I should have done in the first place as we can't move into the house until this is done. My personal advice is to steer clear of Stanley Streamer and just get new carpets. read more

Stanley Steemer came to my home on Sat. morning 7-22-18. I had an eight AM to twelve noon window. Boy was I glad when Chad showed up at eight. Chad was well groomed and very nice.
