My experience with this hotel was the worst. Rooms which are supposed to be smoke free had cigarette odors, cigarette burns and other foreign stains on sofa. Furniture was scratched, holes in desk, tissue rack in bathroom coming out of wall, stains on bedroom walls, head board scratch. Room just smelled old and moldy which Lysol could not remove. Not worth the $400 we paid for 3 nights. read more

Their hours are very deceiving. Look them up on yelp, their website, and posted on their entrance and yet they close the kitchen 1 FULL hour before they close. Absurd. When we tried to eat there at 9pm there was no one to greet us and when we walked farther in to the restaurant with a few tables still seated they rushed up to us and rudely said the kitchen was closed but we could drink at the bar for another hour if we wanted. Hope they make things more clear at the new site in Heath. Tons of restaurants in Dallas and Rockwall honor their advertised hours with pleasant staff to take care of you. read more

Deviled Eggs - skip them, egg whites were overcooked, filling had a nauseating taste to it. The presentation was good, credit for that. Standard Deluxe Burger - a thick, juicy patty, asked for no pink, got some pink, but it is fine because the taste made up for that. I'm glad it wasn't a bland patty. It actually had some seasoning to it. Bacon was thick with a good texture. Not chewy, came apart but didn't disintegrate like overcooked bacon. The egg could have been cooked longer, perhaps more time under the salamander. I don't like runny egg whites. Arugula was a nice touch, looked like baby arugula. Having it made me think I'm eating something healthy, ha! Chicken fried chicken, possibly the worst I've had. Breading fell right off. A hint of ammonia and chicken skin with fat still on. Good intentions, but it turned out bad. Reformulate the batter or find a way to make it stick to the meat. In its current state, I rate my old high school chicken fried steak day more satisfying than this. Service was courteous and attentive from start to finish. They even took off the deviled eggs since my coworkers and I both deplored biting into them. Would come again! read more

I went here for a girls night out and it was such a fun place. There was a bit of a wait but it was pleasantly okay. We sat outside and the vibe was just cool. I was really looking forward to the opening of this restaurant and they did not disappoint. The restaurant is very modern and fresh with lots of patio space. The doors and windows open to the outside giving you lots of seating options during good weather. The menu includes appetizers, sandwiches, salads , entrees and a couple of desserts. It is broad enough to have something for everyone. I had a Cobb salad made with fresh shaved brussels sprouts, eggs, tomatoes, bacon, avocado and a honey vinegarette. It was a delicious twist on an old favorite. My husband had pork chops with sweet potato waffle fries. The chops had a tasty BBQ marinade and the fries were perfectly crispy. They have a full bar and the service is very professional and friendly. It was quite busy on a Thursday evening but we were able to get a table right away. That probably will grow to a long wait as Rockwall discovers this great new spot. read more

Great location in Rockwall if you live south of 30. Other than this place you have to drive to downtown Rockwall for good food, drinks and social scene. First time here and I suspect the food and service is better than 3 stars on average, so I will be back to hopefully offer a better review. Friendly staff greets you. The restaurant was clean and peaceful, but the food was just average. I received a salad that was sub-standard, because all they had done was pull a bunch of greens(some wilted) out of a bag and topped it with a couple of grape tomatoes etc. I needn't tell you that bagged lettuce should be rinsed several times before using, plus it could of been half the size. Too expensive for what you get and we could of gone to Charlie's, which has amazing food for nearly half the price. Even Zanata's would of been less, if we had just ordered pizza, and it would of been really delicious too! Super disappointing change! We went to Standard Service this morning because my daughter (all of us actually) specifically wanted their banana fosters waffles to celebrate her getting her drivers license. Those things are addictive!! Sadly they stopped making them YESTERDAY! Disappointed, the teens chose the suggested pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon, the adults went for classic pancakes with salted butter and maple syrup. The server explained the blueberry pancakes were a Japanese pancake, which was fluffy and thick. She showed us a pic. Teens were confident it would be good. 45 min later (for pancakes and bacon mind you) these 2 little biscuit looking things were delivered in each plate. The bacon was cold, "pancakes" were cold, dry and crumbling on the outside and raw dough on the inside. The "classic" pancakes were also these biscuit things...not at all what we were expected for that order. We couldn't even eat them. The manager was nice and we gave him our feedback. Omg!!!! Delicious is not good enough to describe this place! Driving through with my husband and 7 year old. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We really don't like large chain restaurants so I try to go off the grid for our meal choices. Driving into the parking lot, we were a little confused as to where the restaurant was actually located. It shares a building and parking lot with the local Crossfit box. I am a Crossfiter so my 7 year old thought he was going to have to wait for me to workout before he ate. Lol. Anyway, there were signs directing up to the front door and we found it easily. The dining room is very retro rustic. We loved it. Lots of really cool designs to look at while we waited for our food. The staff were all very friendly, saying "hello" to all three of us as we walked by. The manager was out walking around and visiting with every table to make sure everyone was pleased. Food: my husband had the Remedy Burger (pink). At first he thought it was too small. However, after eating it he said he was glad it wasn't any bigger because he was stuffed! He also said it was the "best burger h has ever had"! I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese. It was AMAZING! I also had the sweet potato waffle fries. Delish! My son had the kids cheese pizza with a side of ranch dressing. The said the pizza was good but the ranch is as his favorite. Lol. Kids!! This was the most amazing dinner I have had in a long time. I had a build your own bowl with grilled sirloin and "farmhouse fixins" and it was amazing. The carrots were bright and fresh and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything we had tasted amazing (you'll want to try the Parmesan Kale Dip, it was wonderful! We started out with the Hawaiian Flatbread, which was probably my favorite dish here. It had pickled red onions on it, which gave it an extra tang that I didn't expect, but loved. The loaded grilled cheese sandwich is just what you expect it to be..LOADED with cheese. It was a bit too greasy and salty for me. We got a side of tomato soup with it which balanced it out a bit. The bunless burger bowl was tasty. Can't say I was a fan of the honey garlic brussels sprouts, but I usually don't like bitter foods. Overall I would return. We drive 45 minutes from home to have dinner or brunch here a couple times a month. Each time trying something different to see how it compares to our last meal. The food and drinks always taste fresh and are made with quality ingredients. The service is always on point and each time we've gone the manager has been around to check on everyone. It's hard to recommend just one thing but we always order a queso to start. The steak tacos are INCREDIBLE and that wagyu beef is the truth!! Enjoy a cold mule and big grilled cheese while you watch CrossFitters run circles around the place. We will continue to visit frequently. read more

Came in today for the first time. A couple things I wanted to suggest for improvement Waitress didn't ask if we wanted drinks she was otherwise very accommodating and customer service oriented. Cobb salad was delicious! No complaints. My friends spinach salad she really enjoyed however it was overdressed with raspberry vinaigrette. So minor things but the salt issue is real! So, I ordered the burger as that felt the safest thing I could see him ordering, and was not impressed. For the price once expects a large burger, this was not. It was seriously overcooked and lacking in flavor as not a high quality beef, and certainly you can find fast food burgers with better flavor. My husband and I loved having our date nights here. They have the best garlic honey Brussel sprouts. Delicious Buffalo chicken sandwiches and Steak frites with truffle fries. We can tonight to get our usual and they took away the Brussel sprouts and changed them to something completely different. They took off the chicken sandwich. And the steak frites went from $27 to $38. (and It's just steak with fries). So we walked out and left. We won't be returning. We loved standard service before it was changed And love the atmosphere, but taking away most of our favorites and raising the prices is not for us. read more
