Popped bubble (there are probably 20 more like this around the two rooms they did)

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars, but it makes you give at least one. The job this company did on our downstairs living room and playroom was horrible. It just continues to look worse as time goes on. This isn't even the worst part. Back when my husband complained about all the screw ups this company did they decided they didn't want to make it right so my husband wrote a review... the owner didn't seem to like the poor review so he bribed my husband with a $50 restaurant gift card to take the review down. When my husband said sorry, not interested I would just like the pillow fixed the owner told him it would be too expensive for them to fix (even thought they were the one that left the sander on the floor which made a HUGE mark dead center in the walkway along with all the popped bubbles throughout the work they did.) over the past 5 years the owner has continued CALLING my husband non stop and when he wouldn't take his calls the owner decided to show up at our home and harass me!! He still continues to call non stop and harass my husband into taking his review down that was rightfully made over 5 years ago!!! So I'm here to warn everyone... if you use them, they screw up (which just look at all the poor word out there), and you write a review, prepare for non stop calls and unexpected visits to your home! So very unprofessional and poor customer service doesn't even begin to describe this company. Please see the few photos I attached. There are honestly about 20 more spots that I could have posted, but I'm sure you get the idea!

Sunn Carpets performed exceptional results for our luxury vinyl flooring and stair carpet runners…read more Project management communication and time were right on schedule. We were quite satisfied with the quality of the work and clean up after the job. Our sales provided the information needed for us the make the best value solution.

So if I had done a review on the first install it 100% would have been 1 star. Apparently I had…read morereceived defective carpet, so it would pull out easily and also the carpet had a pattern stain that you could clearly see once vacuumed. It also had several gaps where the seams met. The installers assured me this was normal and that the seams would fade. I was shocked considering the price we paid for the carpet. Also, I asked a few experts in the area and they also agreed this was not correct at all. Well two weeks later and it honestly looked worse. So I called them back. They "fixed" the seams they said and left. I didn't have a chance to look before they left as I was on a work call. I checked shortly after and same deal. I ended up calling my project manager at Sunn and she came right out to check. Well lo and behold, she immediately could tell something was wrong even though the installers assured me twice that everything was ship shape. She had me send over a piece of the carpet to get tested by the vendor. That ended up being about a one month waiting period. The vendor got back to me and agreed that the carpet was defective and offered a full replacement at zero charge. They were extremely compassionate and empathetic, so it made me feel much better since the installers made me feel like I was going nuts. So we got the second install done on the carpet and it is MUCH better. There are still issues at a couple seams, so I am not 100% thrilled. But it did take care of the major issues we had. To be honest, I was pretty surprised the whole time that the GM or owner of Sunn carpet didn't follow up on this at all. The only thing that saved them from a one star review was their project manager to be honest. So I am so appreciative of her help in all of this. But I do think that better quality control would help this company a lot. Also, a follow-up after install to ensure customer satisfaction should be standard. But it is what it is. I would be a bit hesitant to use them for my next fooring project given the circumstances. But at least it wasn't left in the state of the first install. DM me if you would like the first or second install pics. If I posted the first install pics here I think it would severely hurt this business, so I refrained from that.

Unfortunately this isn't a 5 star review because the service I received was lackluster at best…read more After scratching the floors they just installed, the crew came back on Monday to reinstall the plank they damaged during the previous Friday's install. Having purchased the vinyl plank myself from a big box store, they fixed their issue at my cost as it required them to use 5 more boxes of planks to complete the job to my satisfaction and if I hadn't bought significant amount extra they wouldn't have been able to fix the job at all. Additionally, setting aside the quality of the work, the attention to detail by the Project manager was lacking - he was more interested in leaving on Friday evening than seeing the job (including moving the pieces of furniture back into the home from the backyard) through to completion. He again left on Monday evening for a second time without evening checking the work his team was completing. I had to also initiate the contact on late Monday morning because he never followed up regarding the time that they would be able to come out to repair the issues described above. Lastly, after giving me an initial quote and helping to schedule the install the owner was nowhere to be found through all the issue described above. I would not choose this company again, as a small company like this should pride itself on the quality of work and attention to detail - neither of which was present in this engagement. Update: The owner did reach out to provide a refund to cover the cost of the additional plank used in repairs. Updating to reflect the attempt to make things right.
