We came up to Sedona for Memorial Day weekend and stayed at Sky Rock Sedona hotel. After a long day of driving up to Page from Phoenix, we checked in at around 5:20 and wanted a place to eat asap. Stagecoach was in walking distance and it turned out to be a great choice! Wasn't busy when we got in at 6:00 but it quickly started to fill up. Nice venue, very clean with a sense of casual and a little classy, and our waitress Cindy was friendly and attentive. Stopped in at lunch and asked for the dinner menu and they were happy to do it. We did 2 barbecue plates and shared. The outside of the building didn't leave us expecting to find a beautiful interior. The barbecue was really good. The slaw was different yet amazing. This is a very good bbq smokehouse restaurant. Start with the cornbread. Great stuff. The smoked chicken wasn't my favorite, but it was cooked well and very tender. The portion was very big. Very nice environment and interior design. The food and service were good overall. I wish they have more plant-based options, I got the veggie tower, which is pretty much the only option if I still want to stick with plant-based. After another day of hiking we chose to wander into stagecoach. We were craving a hearty meal and this place delivered. We had just missed the rush and we're seated immediately. The inside is very clean and classy. Our waiter Justin recommended the boar and the passion fruit drink. Our favorite dish was the boar, followed by the brisket sandwich and the prime rib was last. Our ranking was based on every dish being absolutely delicious. The servings were generous and the meat of all three dishes was cooked to perfection. Went on a trip to Sedona and was super excited to try some new restaurants and stagecoach did not disappoint. It is cute inside and they have TVs which was great because there was a playoff game on that I wanted to watch so that was perfect. I also love that it had TVs without being too much of a sporty vibe. The names of the food I think I put the right thing but I'm not 100% sure lol. The deviled egg app was super good and I love that it was a little different with the cucumbers and the presentation as well. I love deviled eggs and not everywhere can get them right. The sausage was delicious! And the fries were nice and crispy. The Caesar salad was okay, I wish I had just tried the coleslaw though, but that was my choice to switch it. The margarita was also really good, tasty and they didn't get a bunch of the Tajin in there which can change the flavor. Our server was attentive and checked in on us several times without being overbearing which was nice and when our Uber took forever to come (Sedona does not have a lot of drivers at night) they didn't mind letting us hang out while they cleaned up. After a day of sightseeing J and I stopped in for dinner at Stagecoach on Sunday night and had just a short wait for a seat. The waiting and bar area were both very nice and had a slight upscale feel to it. When they paged us for our table we found we were in the main sitting area very near the mechanical bull (nobody was riding it so I'm not really sure if it is operable). The restaurant was crowded with a few large groups but wasn't overly loud and the staff did a great job of making sure everyone was taken care of. After checking out the menu we decided to try the bison short ribs, loaded wedge salad, and jalapeno cornbread. The bison short ribs were good but not amazing but after having fluffier cornbread earlier in our trip the more dense variety with some honey butter definitely hit the spot! We had the chocolate chip cookie in the skillet with ice cream for dessert and it was good. We both enjoyed the ambiance and menu at Stagecoach. Everything was good but we would probably try other items on the menu if we were to come and try them again. read more

We wanted a place to stop by to watch the NFL game and we weren't disappointed! Their Caesar Salad was phenomenal, I had never thought to add corn to a salad, but it added a perfect touch. The chipotle and Caesar dressing complimented each other so well. The croutons that were added on had the slightest kick to them and were delicious. 5/5 for the salad The nachos missed the mark a little for me, it's blue corn tostadas cut in half with pulled pork, jalapeños, bell peppers, corn, sour cream, cheese. The nachos ended up slightly soggy, and they were pretty stale, but the pulled pork that was added on was so good. I would recommend finding another dish on the menu that includes the pull pork, because that is a must try. The restaurant had dark lighting, but it did have a bar area and seating area along with TVs if you need to watch anything. Their staff were all friendly and checked in on us multiple times. Arrived late in Sedona on a week night - was looking for a drink & found the Stagecoach Roadhouse was the only place still open that served drinks. There was live entertainment playing country music, good bartender and the locals that we met were friendly. They told us that on Friday & Saturday nights they take a break on the country music around 8:30 and bring in a DJ. There's a Mechanical Bull that I think they use on the weekends - we didn't ask We liked the place so much we came back the next day for an Excellent Steak dinner. We ordered the Wagyu Churrasco Cutlets & the 16oz Rib Eye. It was all super delicious - our waiter Dylan was GREAT - constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Overall the place has good drinks, nice atmosphere, large bar, outside balcony seating and a downstairs exterior smoking section When back in Sedona we'll stop in again. Placed an order for pickup, was 20 minutes late. We were told to wait at the bar, and no one even came by to take an order while we waited. 20 minutes after the food was supposed to be out, some dude dropped off 2 bags and didn't say anything to anyone, not even when I asked if it was ours. Update: I got back home, and half our order is missing - so we have to go all the way back and deal with these people again. Rude staff all the way around. We came to town to celebrate our toddlers 3rd birthday and chose to eat at Stagecoach on a Saturday late afternoon. The restaurant has a clean, upscale feel with windows facing the beautiful red mountains. Our server was Cindy and she was by far the best server we have ever had, and that says a lot as we are major foodies and I have spent 14 years in the service industry in The Valley. She was so personable, sweet, attentive and went above and beyond for us and especially for our kiddo. It truly made a huge difference in us fully enjoying our meal having such a happy, satisfied and distracted kiddo thanks to Cindy. Additionally, our food was incredible. We had 2 orders of the smoked deviled eggs, the cornbread, the corn chowder soup, Mac n cheese, truffle fries, T-bone steak and the slow cooked bison short rib. Every dish was great and so full of flavor with wonderful presentation. The corn chowder was the best we've ever had and truly left me wanting the whole pot! The truffle fries were also a favorite.
