As always, the Enchantment Resort does not disappoint. It is always five star. Food quality is very high and the drinks were fabulous. Service was super friendly and they took very good care of us. The ambience on the patio is breathtaking your views while enjoying your lunch are like nothing else in the world. Super dog friendly. We always order a chicken breast for the kids and it's always good. Highly recommend stopping here for lunch when you're visiting Sedona.

We celebrated our first anniversary dinner here and it was absolutely fabulous! All of the finer dining check boxes paired with a live keyboardist and wonderful service from Ted. The quail and pork belly are musts from the starter lists. Then, if they have the NY Strip please order it. It was the most delicious cut of strip I've ever tasted and I typically prefer a ribeye. The views are stunning and the cocktails are also fun! Definitely a nicer meal with a bit of a higher ticket price but the food is fresh and delicious and you will not leave hungry or disappointed!

Che Ah Chi is the perfect location for breakfast after a hike in Boynton Canyon! I went around 10 AM on a weekday in the off-season (July). The restaurant had some patrons, but wasn't very busy, and my service was very attentive. I was seated outside on balcony with a perfect view of the pool and the red rocks and with a little help from my hostess Roro, the umbrellas were shady enough to keep me cool. My server, Oscar deserves five stars on his own! He was so nice and well informed about the menu. He was a good conversationalist, and there when I needed something, but did not overwhelm me with his presence which as a solo diner I always really appreciate. Props also to the bartender, whose bar was not technically open, but made me my favorite fizzy anyway - Prosecco, lemon, & St. Germain of course. I had the huevos rancheros, which have avocado and black bean purée layered in the tortillas, the chorizo is perfectly spiced, and I got my eggs over medium, which was a good amount of runniness for this dish. I spent a couple of hours there, unbothered in writing poetry, and had a cappuccino with at least 3 inches of foam above the rim! I'll share a photo, but it was really lovely because sometimes cappuccinos will be mostly foam and no coffee. On top of it all, the valet (Yewen from Jamaica - you're too cool!), the buspeople and the hostesses were also very polite and friendly. It was a great experience, and I may even return while I'm here for sunset !

The food here was delicious and the drinks were really good. I ordered a Wagyu burger with a side salad. The patty was cooked perfectly!

Great food, service, and ambiance! We really enjoyed our dinner here. Both the duck and roasted lamb were cooked perfectly. The Brandy date reduction on the lamb was our favorite. Definitely recommend!

What my a beautiful resort and restaurant! Made a day-trip to Sedona with my wife and dog and decided to give Che Ah Chi a try after hearing great things from our neighbor. We had a great lunch on the patio and shared a few dishes. The bbq chicken salad was my personal favorite. Staff were friendly and even brought our dog a nice water bowl. We will be back for another meal again!

Great views of the canyon. Excellent service. Good food. We came here after hiking and had the lobster roll with the corn chowder and wagyu cheeseburger. The corn chowder had fresh grilled corn. Yum. The wagyu burger was juicy and the lobster roll tasted fresh. I had the espresso martini for a picker upper and it was so good. Would have loved to come for dinner but they book quickly.

Parking lot was full so we parked next door. We also made a reservation. Please come and create your own adventure.

I want to write this review in hopes of saving someone else from making the same mistake I did…read more I was incredibly excited to dine at Elote Café and managed to score a dinner reservation less than a week before my trip to Sedona, which is practically impossible if you've ever tried to get in. The anticipation was high, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. For context, I'm from California and am accustomed to fresh, authentic Mexican food. To be fair, Elote Café does not claim to be authentic Mexican cuisine. If that's what you're looking for, this is not it. The menu leans much more toward a Tex-Mex/fusion style. Drinks The margaritas were fine. We requested Tajín rims, which they accommodated, but the presentation felt underwhelming for a restaurant of this reputation and price point. High-end cocktail programs typically include thoughtful touches--dried citrus, smoked cinnamon, herbs, or something that elevates the experience. These arrived as basic margaritas with salt and a lime wedge. Appetizers The complimentary chips and salsa were just okay. The salsa had an unexpected sweetness that didn't work for me. The famous Elote, however, absolutely deserves the praise. It was the best thing I ate all night--savory, balanced, and packed with flavor. Easily a 10/10. The guacamole was also excellent. No complaints there. Entrees The chicken enchiladas had flavorful chicken, but the green sauce was overwhelmingly tart and lacked the seasoning needed to balance that acidity. The shrimp and pork belly dish was disappointing. The pork belly was good, but there were only two very small pieces. The shrimp were underseasoned and lacked flavor. The carne asada was the biggest letdown of the night. It arrived covered in a red sauce that seemed to be attempting an enchilada-style sauce, topped with pickled onions and a slice of bleu cheese. While I appreciated the pickled onions, the bleu cheese felt like a strange addition to a carne asada dish. More importantly, despite being described as a prime cut skirt steak and cooked rare as requested, the meat was surprisingly tough. Rice&Beans The entrees came with rice and beans. The beans were acceptable, though nothing memorable. The rice, however, tasted like boxed or instant rice. At a restaurant where a dinner for four can easily approach $300, I expect better than something that tastes like it came from a pantry packet. It's a small detail, but details matter when a restaurant has built its reputation around being a must-visit dining destination. Dessert By this point we had no intention of ordering dessert, but we were celebrating a birthday and received a complimentary ice cream dessert. It was actually very good. The vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and caramel sauce all tasted house-made and had a rich dulce de leche flavor. Final Thoughts Our bill was nearly $300 for four people, and the overall experience simply wasn't worth the cost. Aside from the elote and guacamole, most dishes felt underseasoned, unbalanced, or failed to justify the restaurant's reputation. What puzzled me most was seeing several empty tables throughout service. Given how difficult reservations are to obtain, I expected the restaurant to be completely full. This is one of those restaurants where the hype far exceeds the reality. If you're worried about missing out, don't be. In my opinion, you're not.

I was seated outside next to a delightful courtyard in shade with soft, warm breezes. I had the Prix Fixe menu, selecting Chilean Sea Bass as my entree. The meal actually begins with 3 slices of multigrain bread and 3 sectioned tray - olive tapanade, pesto and garlic-flavored olive oil. I really enjoyed the rich-tasting bread and the tapanade. The first course was the lobster bisque. This is not only a refined and tasty soup but there are many chunks of lobster meat (whoa). The bisque also has a slightly sweet and rich taste. The main course was Chilean Sea Bass. The well-grilled fish was placed on yummy garlic mashed potatoes. Also, gracing the plate were fresh green beans and a tasty choice of delectable dipping sauces for the fish. The final (dessert) course was Triple Cream Brie Cheesecake. This round cake was topped with a vanilla cream top - a rich and properly-sweetened end of the lunch. I highly recommend dining at Rene at Tlaquepaque.

We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.
