Che Ah Chi is the perfect location for breakfast after a hike in Boynton Canyon! I went around 10 AM on a weekday in the off-season (July). The restaurant had some patrons, but wasn't very busy, and my service was very attentive. I was seated outside on balcony with a perfect view of the pool and the red rocks and with a little help from my hostess Roro, the umbrellas were shady enough to keep me cool. My server, Oscar deserves five stars on his own! He was so nice and well informed about the menu. He was a good conversationalist, and there when I needed something, but did not overwhelm me with his presence which as a solo diner I always really appreciate. Props also to the bartender, whose bar was not technically open, but made me my favorite fizzy anyway - Prosecco, lemon, & St. Germain of course. I had the huevos rancheros, which have avocado and black bean purée layered in the tortillas, the chorizo is perfectly spiced, and I got my eggs over medium, which was a good amount of runniness for this dish. I spent a couple of hours there, unbothered in writing poetry, and had a cappuccino with at least 3 inches of foam above the rim! I'll share a photo, but it was really lovely because sometimes cappuccinos will be mostly foam and no coffee. On top of it all, the valet (Yewen from Jamaica - you're too cool!), the buspeople and the hostesses were also very polite and friendly. It was a great experience, and I may even return while I'm here for sunset !

The food here was delicious and the drinks were really good. I ordered a Wagyu burger with a side salad. The patty was cooked perfectly!

Great food, service, and ambiance! We really enjoyed our dinner here. Both the duck and roasted lamb were cooked perfectly. The Brandy date reduction on the lamb was our favorite. Definitely recommend!

What my a beautiful resort and restaurant! Made a day-trip to Sedona with my wife and dog and decided to give Che Ah Chi a try after hearing great things from our neighbor. We had a great lunch on the patio and shared a few dishes. The bbq chicken salad was my personal favorite. Staff were friendly and even brought our dog a nice water bowl. We will be back for another meal again!

Great views of the canyon. Excellent service. Good food. We came here after hiking and had the lobster roll with the corn chowder and wagyu cheeseburger. The corn chowder had fresh grilled corn. Yum. The wagyu burger was juicy and the lobster roll tasted fresh. I had the espresso martini for a picker upper and it was so good. Would have loved to come for dinner but they book quickly.

It's really unfortunate this place is not rated higher. It is located inside the beautiful Enchantment resort. We had been here before when we came to Sedona and wanted to take our out of town guests. There were no tables available on OpenTable so I was trying to call for a table but the cell service is not great in the surrounding area. I got through twice but no one answered the phone. When we got to the gate the staff told us the restaurant is super busy and full and we could not get a table. We told him we tried to get through but no one answered so he offered to call them for us. He then said we could go ahead. When we got there the restaurant was completely empty! They sat us at the high top table outside the main dining room. Our server was nice. The view is amazing. Food took a while despite it being slow. The food portions are large (and pricey). The food was tasty but it was all very greasy, which was odd. We did not feel it was worth it this time and probably won't be back again. We were especially disappointed with the rude staff at the front gate of the Enchantment resort.

The food was the best we've had while in Sedona. Very flavorful. Our service Nick was so fun, kind and helpful! He truly made the night that much more wonderful!!

Reservation is required to enter the resort, be sure to make one before you arrive! We didn't have a reservation but quickly turned around and called the restaurant, everything went smoothly because it wasn't a peak dining time. The view was absolutely gorgeous from the patio and the weather was just right! Our server, Raul, introduced himself as a trainee and said he will try to answer our questions but he might need to go find some answers. I like how ease going he was. Raul was really friendly, professional, attentive. His demeanor was really down to earth and calm, it really fits the resort's ambiance. When we were ordering our dishes, he asked if we want the standard fries or upgrade to yuca fries. He could tell we don't know what yuca fries were so he offered some samples. We didn't feel rushed in anyway and that's exactly what we needed at that moment. We just came back from a hike and we wanted to relax, enjoy the view and some sisters' time and Raul gave us exactly that! When we made the reservation, we were asked if we are celebrating anything and we did mention that it is my birthday! Yesterday when I went to another restaurant also in Sedona, the reservation was noted and the hostess also knew but we had to remind the server and the total price was more than this restaurant. With Che Ah Chi, their service was much better than the one we went yesterday, and the servers' service and attitudes were definitely fits the resort style. I will definitely come back to this restaurant and the resort! If you have time, be sure to stop by the restaurant or book a stay here! By the way, Raul, we went to the hike you mentioned. I took a picture of the patio from our view for you!

The elote appetizer was bursting with a charred corn flavor and coated in a creamy, tangy sauce with just the right amoun of spice. The goat cheese balls were crispy on the outside and warm ant flavorful in the inside, and the freshness of the veggies with each bite was absolutely balancing. For the mains, I had the smoked pork cheek, which was unbelievably tender and savory. My hubby's shrimp and pork belly dish was cooked nicely. It was juicy and well cooked shrimp with tender pork belly that combined nice with the sauce. Both dishes were easily 9/10 or higher. The salsa deserves a shoutout too. It was fresh and chunky, with a nice balance of heat and flavor. We finished with the Mexican chocolate pie, and that was rich and decadent, and not overly sweet. Absolutely to die for. MUST TRY!

(Please look at my photo of the sad leftovers). We had written down all of the suggestions of things to do in Sedona and Elote Cafe was at the top of our list of things to do. Apparently getting a reservation at this place is super difficult to get, so we decided to order takeout. Elote dip, pork cheeks, green tamale, carne asada, pork belly tacos and corn cake for dessert. The elote dip was enjoyable especially when eaten with chips, the green tamale was better off used as a trampoline at a kids party (it was spongy, flavorless and possibly good to scrub your dishes), the carne asada was dead like the cow it came from and flavorless, the pork belly tacos were barely edible because of the overwhelming sour taste of lemon, and last but least was the corn cake, it was dry and about as exciting as a retirement home party. We wasted our money thinking that a place with a waiting list to get on would be an experience just like everything else we experienced in Sedona but instead Elote Cafe is a bad tourist trap that has as much charm and taste as Del Taco. Save your money and look elsewhere for some great Mexican inspired food even if it means you need to travel to Tucson.

We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.

The soufflé was incredible- although we were not advised it was a $5 upcharge for a minuscule scoop of ice cream. Speaking of prices. We were charged $30 for my sandwich which was listed as $24 on the menu. We didn't notice until I looked at the receipt that he next day. It's only $6 but it didn't leave me feeling positively.
