We came here to watch the sunset. The outdoor area is cute, but there's very limited seating. The drinks were overpriced and not very good. We ordered a charcuterie board, and honestly, I didn't think that was something that could be messed up--but it was really disappointing. It tasted like it had been prepared ahead of time, stored in the freezer, and then served to us. The crackers were stale, and even the pickles and pickled okra didn't taste right. I mentioned it to the server and asked if it could be removed from our bill, but they only offered a small discount. Overall, the quality of the food didn't match the price at all. A cute little spot with a nice view. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and they had live music; a singer with his guitar made for nice ambiance. They sell some merchandise and food served from a food truck. It was busy, parking was tight and service was slow, un attentive and forgetful. I had their version of an old fasion and it was alright like 3 out of 5 and also tasted their stout, it was ok and tasted their version of some pineapple drink and that was yummy. Lots of sitting area option high bar table, lounge area with tables, fire pit surrounded by chairs , adirondack area. The place is nice I can see it easily out growing this location. read more

What a fantastic view!! During our 1st visit, we were so enamoured by the view while seated outside that we canceled our initial plan to watch sunset elsewhere. How relaxing to enjoy drinks alfresco, enjoying the beautiful weather and magnificent scenery! We returned a 2nd time; arriving later, we weren't surprised that seating was limited; I was surprised to see a few young families present (confirming this is not a 21+ place). Service was pleasant by all; Shawn, however, made our experience most enjoyable; he was personable, positive, and fun! Cocktails were good; however, inconsistent (one cocktail wasn't as described; one was good-&-strong; on another, I barely tasted or felt there was any spirits). Both times, despite seeing the bartenders bustling filling orders, service was slow, even slower the busier night; I was ready to leave, content not having received my 2nd cocktail, when it was delivered over an hour later! Complaints were heard by others, as well. I don't understand the logic on the cost of their pours (compared to their bottle prices); for example, a 2 oz. pour of their: - Vodka is $28, a bottle is $44 - Gin is $28, a bottle is $54 - Overproof Bourbon is $28, a bottle is $89 - Rye Whiskey is $20, a bottle is $74 Overall, a very fun find, and utterly amazing view! read more

I am totally obsessed with this place! Talk about drinks with a view (and entertainment)! Huge fan of the atmosphere and vibes, especially the fire pits. You can truly just get one drink and the staff won't pressure you to leave or anything. Trust me when I say there's nothing like this in Boston. My only regret was that we didn't arrive earlier to get to spend more time here. I'm not kidding when I say I'd consider going back to Sedona just for this spot. Very highly recommend! read more

We came here briefly to Redwall's NYE celebration and it was such a fun way to spend the night in Sedona! The live band kept everyone entertained early on, and even though Sedona doesn't usually stay open late, they extended hours well past the usual close so people could stay for the countdown. Cocktails were top notch (their house spirits really shine here) and the views from the patio are amazing -- perfect for New Year's Eve. The vibe was lively but still relaxed, and we toasted way before midnight with the music playing. A really great local spot!! read more

My parents & I stopped here for a cocktail on a beautiful Saturday afternoon but the bartenders were incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Tried to make conversation and were given 1-2 word answers. Ok- whatever. We ordered an espresso martini instead of a pumpkin martini off the menu, and two other cocktails, one with a different type of whiskey than it came with. Then when we got our bill.... $28 for 2 oz of vodka, +$ 3 for a martini, + $2 for espresso, $4 for rye whiskey. Really? What a joke. The menu item was listed as $18. $73 for 3 cocktails is highway robbery. Overall- order a coke, take a photo, and move on. Not worth your time or money. Be better Redwall. read more

The view from the distillery is absolutely incredible and paired well with the cozy fire pits and crafted cocktails. If it wasn't for this - the rating would've been much lower. For the price paid ($22/ for a cocktail) the service here could've used some work (actually a lot of work). It almost seemed like requesting or asking for something was putting the server or bartender out or the responses were very rude or passive or just not very customer service friendly. Sometimes service seemed inattentive. My husband and I didn't really mention anything and just continued to enjoy our cocktails / maybe it was just a bad day for the staff? I will say we were never hassled to leave or close out. However, after we closed out our tab, other customers started arguing with the server regarding drinks needing to be re-made (specifically the horchata drink) and the attitude of the staff (specially the server). Things did escalate between some customers around us and the server - with foul language used or condescending tones. We left immediately when this started. Felt very uncomfortable. Hopefully, as a business you'll fix this. Your high pricing needs to reflect your customer service as well. Hope next time we are back in Sedona this experience is improved read more

Service was friendly and quick. My group of 3 ordered the Old Fashioned and we all thought it was spectacular. The flavors were very balanced. They use their house made bourbon, whiskey, vodka, and gin in their drinks. We were hoping to get some dinner here, but their on-site food truck was closed for the evening for a private event. We would've stayed for more drinks if their truck had been available. I do wish there were more seats by the fire as the chairs were large and took up a lot of the space, but the space was cozy and warm. They allow dogs on their outside patio. read more

This place is such a hidden gem in Sedona. They distill the best vodka as well as a many other spirits they distill right here in Sedona! Dee was my bartender.i absolutely love how perfect they make my Moscow Mule! The proper pour is all you need. This is coming from someone who has worked in this industry The spirits at this establishment is all made in house at this distillery using the finest ingredients Anymore and it ruins the drink. I've came in a few times. Dee absolutely surpasses my expectations. I picked up a pizza at Geraldo's Sat on the patio enjoying Thunder Mountain; as well as the night sky. We had such a wonderful time last night that we are torn with too many people finding out about this place. We arrived just before 5p and it was busy, but we had choices on where to sit outside with our Golden Retriever. He provided some love to the customers. The drink menu was diverse so everyone should be able to find their drink of choice. My husband had their Old Fashion and I had the happy hour Mango Margarita. There was live music and a chill vibe, but the sunset stole the show. Even the staff say the sunsets never get old. We will be back. read more

We are local and we really enjoy Redwall Distillery for it's views and live music. The reason for one star is that you have to watch how and what you get charged. We paid for two drinks in cash right away + tip, because we did not bring a credit card with us. By the time we were done with our two drinks, we wanted to make sure that we were settled... and they asked us to pay again!!!! The bartender , who took my cash, never said anything and was absolutely ok with us paying for these drinks again. This was pretty dishonest. read more

The place is beautiful, stunning and has so much potential, but they need all new staff here... you are NOT greeted at all when arriving nor do you feel welcomed , it feels like it is a bother that you are there. The waitress with dark hair was extremely rude and unprofessional to us! She even picked a fight with a family that was there and used inappropriate language towards them and even tried to physically fight them infront of all the customers and their kids!Wtheck! The manager (bartender) de-escalated the situation and did a good job at it, but she also wasn't very friendly or made you feel welcome at all... she was only friendly to the family that had to deal with her terrible employee.. Beautiful spot for drinks and fantastic views of Sedona. Cozy and casual setting with $15 cocktails, $8 drafts, $4 canned beers, with the occasional drink special ($10 margs that evening!). There are complimentary snacks doled out in small dishes if requested, and they are opening a permanent taco truck on site. They also offer a selection of cigars (subject to availability) that can be smoked on site, or you can bring your own. Indoor seating, indoor and outdoor seating at the bar, as well as plenty of outdoor seating (Adirondack chairs, normal tables, bar height tables) with heaters and fire pits for when the sun sets. Nick and Rob are friendly bartenders, very attentive, keeping drinks and water glasses filled. Live music on weekends starting around 5pm/6pm (check their Instagram @redwall_lounge for updates). Small parking lot, but more parking available across the street. Overall, prices may be a smidge higher for a cocktail/beer, but once you factor in the beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, and pleasant staff, and it's a visit well worth the price. I LOVE THIS SPOT! The house bourbon is exceptional with a little bite at the end of each sip but a nice sweetness and first sip. They DO NOT have cigars as Yelp has led me to believe. I, however, found an E.H. Taylor Corojo cigar at the Sedona liquor store and the view here combined with a chill atmosphere is the perfect way to enjoy a 100+ degree day. The staff is helpful, professional and friendly. If you're in Sedona and want a nice view and a good spirit you need to get here. About the Bourbon: American Small Batch Redwall Bourbon. The reddish hue and notes of vanilla, caramel, a mesquite smokiness and licorice on the nose lend itself to to a wonderfully sweet taste with a little kick of spiciness on the back of the throat at the finish. We were in town for a family wedding and came to Redwall Lounge with a group of about 30. We tried to make reservations weeks in advance but were told they don't take them. At first the staff was friendly, but that didn't last long. We were there for almost two hours and only managed to get one round of drinks -- even though we ordered more, they never came. When I went inside to ask about it, I was told "it's busy but it should be coming," yet nothing ever did. When we decided to leave, we found out a 30% gratuity had been added to our tab because of our group size. I wouldn't have minded that if the service had been decent, but everyone in our party had to practically beg for drinks the whole time. The gentleman with the great hair made my friend and I excellent cocktails (old fashioned and espresso martini) but unfortunately was running back and forth from the office (maybe doing inventory) so he couldn't really spend time with his customers. Would've been nice to be able to chat with the person making our drinks. Seemed like they were trying to close early so we left after one drink. The whiskey in my old fashioned was really great! The Mrs. and I stopped by Redwall Lounge for a drink last night. Thus far, this place only has 19 reviews from my fellow Yelpers. I'm almost afraid to be number 20 because I think as bars go in Sedona, Redwall Lounge is defiantly a secret hideaway. We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. and the place was pretty busy despite the cold weather. There is a small seating area and a bar inside. Most of the seating is outside and the tables have heaters. There was also a live band which was added to the atmosphere. Redwall makes their own Vodka, Gin, Bourbon, and Single Malt Whiskey. Other brands are offered as well as beer and wine but I suggest trying your favorite cocktail with Redwall's products. I had a Manhattan made from the house Bourbon and its was one of the best I've had. It was perfectly balanced. The Mrs. ordered a martini made from the house Gin and loved it. The views from Redwall Lounge are incredible. Even in the dark. After a few cocktails the mysteries of the Sedona mountains come alive. Not really. More like the booze filled haze with flickering of a propane induced flame from a heater. If you want to see the sunset with your cocktail plan accordingly. Besides the excellent service, atmosphere and drinks, Redwall Lounge is a great place to hang out in Sedona because of the location. It sits up in the hills way off of 89A away from the other restaurants and bars. You don't get the tourist traffic like the other places. read more

It was $28 for 2 ounces of vodka, gin or bourbon or buy an entire 750 ML bottle for $40-80. Doesn't make any sense. Why not a tasting and if I like what I taste, I might actually buy a bottle.
