First time here while on vacation! Customer service was great! The food was tasty and the restaurant was clean. My only recommendation would be heaters in the outside area. The chicken enchilada and salmon enchilada was really good! We also tried the guacamole tasting which we liked the variety. Jonya was our server and she was really nice and made it a great experience.

Mole is located at the Arebella resort in Sedona. They have a very limited menu. Short but mighty. They offer about 10 dishes, including chicken Mole enchiladas, excellent Pazole, salads, and a few other options. Everything is stand alone. Beans and rice are extra. Chips and salsa are extra. The Mole enchiladas were excellent. I may even say it was one of the best mole dishes I've had. The enchiladas were overstuffed with chicken. In addition I ordered black beans and rice. I cleared my entire plate. My dad had the Pazolle. He said it was delicious. My mon said her food was good too. Now you ask, where did it go wrong? Sadly we had a reservation. We found out the hard way that even if you have a reservation, it does not mean they have a table for you. We arrived on time. Our table was not ready. Our option was a very high table facing a wall or outside. We opted to eat outside. Although we had heaters nearby, the wind was very cold. My mole plate got cold fast as did my fathers Pazole. Food is good but seating needs improvement.

Apps were wonderful. We ordered the crab guacamole, skillet cornbread, and the chichorones, and loved them better than our entrees, although we're good. Service was good. This restaurant is upstairs, so don't let the empty space downstairs fool you. (I believe this is for breakfast for the hotel next door.) There is inside and outside seating.

The food was the best I had in my week long trip. The lamb shank was perfectly tender, the red chili sauce was flavorful and paired perfectly with that signature gamey-lamb flavor. The minted cream could have been a little more abundant but that's splitting hairs. Standard rice and beans on the side. Good pairing as expected. The pork chicharron app was good, but I think it was a little expensive for what you got. Very well put together, good flavor and presentation though. The cap and one of the stars of the show, the prickly pair flan. It was like a well structured airy-mousse cloud of bliss. Absolutely amazing, it had this creme Brule undertone that transitioned into a carnelized marshmallow flavor. I didn't want it to end. Service left quite a bit to be desired. We were watching another server run laps around the one we had, so I suppose it just depends on who you get. Tough to get water, took a long time to get our drinks, and a longer time to get our entree order taken. Food was 11/10. Service was like a 5/10.

    Salmon enchiladas !!

In Sedona on vacay ... what a wonderful find!! I ordered the salmon enchiladas which were light and very flavorful !! Carla .. our waitress was very attentive.. if you're looking for Mexican with a little twist .. this is the place to be!!

We had a fantastic time at Mole, so make sure you get your reservations in when you can!! We had a great server who offered some recommendations, and one of her recommendations became our favorite dish- the guaca crab! We ended up mostly ordering appetizers because there were so many apps that looked amazing, and then we shared our entree. We got the cabo white fish ceviche, the corn bread, the charred esquites, iron skillet corn bread, and the guaca-crab dip appetizers, and they were ALL AMAZING! In fact, they were so good they completely outshined our entree, the mole chicken enchilada. The guaca-crab dip had such a unique flavor profile with the lump crab and guac cooked with butter and miso(?) that just made this dish pop with so much flavor! The cabo white fish ceviche was also really good with tons of bright citrus notes. We loved the charred esquites which was warm and comforting. Lastly, the cornbread really blew us away and was definitely the best cornbread we've had. The texture was so fluffy and light and almost felt more like a dessert! The mole chicken enchilada was great, too, but we are still hung up on how delicious all the apps were. We ended our meal with a prickly pear flan, which didn't seem to have too much prickly pear flavor from what we could tell, but it was a solid flan overall, and I would recommend if it you're a lover of flan!

We walked in for a drink, ended up ordering a dessert! This place is beautiful, great for a day night and friend/family gathering. The decor is classy and elegant! We loved the flan very much, it's silky and creamy. Their drink menu has a lot of good options too.

Blew me away WAY more than Elote did. The flavors were perfect and so was the vibe. And the hostess/service was just so accommodating and kind. I know it's not a competition, but everyone made such a fuss about Elote and we had a better experience here. Also, the churros were a spiritual experience. My soul left my body. Please get them. Such a fan.

It was not a bad experience, but for a place trying to be "ingenuous" as they say on their sign, a lot of the details are lacking. For starters, their restrooms are in need of a total re-do. It was giving off construction site, porta potty vibes. The leather chairs in the dining room are also very dated and the leather exterior is pealing off all over the place. The plates we were given were not entirely clean and had bits of old food caked on in parts. Our white fish ceviche was tasty and I admit I ate all of it. However, it felt like the sauce was just poured from a Tropicana orange juice bottle, and lacked sophistication. The mole enchiladas also were tasty, and I also finished the whole thing, but the chicken tasted of slightly poor quality, and needed better marinade or seasoning. Our server was great but just talked a bit too fast. This place has potential for sure, but needs to clean up the details for a higher rating.

What more can u ask for, an amazing view while eating good food. We are visiting and looking for a place to have lunch and its nice to give this place a try. Service was much on a slower pace noticed they dont have a lot of servers. We all love the Roasted Beef Bone Marrow. Elote Street-roasted corn complemeted the taste really good. Mole Con Pollo Asado was good. Did not expect the avocado fries to be big chunks of avocado how I wish it was a bit thinner. Pollo tacos was juicy and love the mixture of taste. I ordered the steak medium but they made it medium well flavor was still good. We all finished our food and we got so full we never got to try their desserts.

The views from the rooftop patio were amazing, great margaritas while we waited for food too. The crab Guacamole was delicious!! They brought our food out and the skirt Steak that my wife ordered was delicious. I ordered the Pork Tenderloin and they brought my a chicken dish, I told the waitress and she quickly brought me the Pork Tenderloin I ordered. No issues at all, great service with that. The pork tenderloin plate was delicious and worth the mistake. I'd definitely recommend Mole to anyone, the views, food and service were all top notch.

I was seated outside next to a delightful courtyard in shade with soft, warm breezes. I had the Prix Fixe menu, selecting Chilean Sea Bass as my entree. The meal actually begins with 3 slices of multigrain bread and 3 sectioned tray - olive tapanade, pesto and garlic-flavored olive oil. I really enjoyed the rich-tasting bread and the tapanade. The first course was the lobster bisque. This is not only a refined and tasty soup but there are many chunks of lobster meat (whoa). The bisque also has a slightly sweet and rich taste. The main course was Chilean Sea Bass. The well-grilled fish was placed on yummy garlic mashed potatoes. Also, gracing the plate were fresh green beans and a tasty choice of delectable dipping sauces for the fish. The final (dessert) course was Triple Cream Brie Cheesecake. This round cake was topped with a vanilla cream top - a rich and properly-sweetened end of the lunch. I highly recommend dining at Rene at Tlaquepaque.

We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.

Cool evening temps nearly discouraged us from dining outdoors, but with plenty of heaters, fire pits, and (perhaps the nicest touch) being offered a warm blanket to stave off any chill, we were not only comfortable but also very glad we remained on the patio for our nearly 2 hour food extravaganza. Live music from a very talented guitarist/vocalist elevated the experience further. Service was highly attentive but not at all intrusive. Everyone's food tastes being different, I'll refrain from suggesting what you might order. I can say my meal of short ribs was good to the last bite, served with small potatoes and grilled carrots. I did jokingly ask the server "What do we get for leaving a review" and I can tell she was taken aback by the question but still came back with my order saying all she could was extra whip cream because she didn't have that kind of reputation.
