Luckily Costa had reservations somewhat last minute on a busy holiday week. Only reason was likely because they are still new so be sure to get a reservation earlier go forward since it is a small restaurant. Their cocktails started off the night nicely. Coupled with the tasty dense bread and dips we knew we were in for a treat. In terms of the food you should not miss the Tostada de Carne. Chef's spin on carpaccio was delicious. Also don't miss the side of garbanzo beans with chorizo. Took my mouth right back to Spain. I would skip the ceviche mixto. A little too much going on in this dish and hard to enjoy the ingredients. Lastly, the beef tenderloin "churresco style" was tender and delicious. Again maybe a little too much going on this dish since I wanted the crab to stand out a bit more but regardless a worth while dish to get. Brooke was friendly and the team was great. We saw the chef in the open kitchen which was nice. It would be great if he got around the restaurant when things slow down to meet his guests.

We finally made it to Costa tonight. Exceeded our expectations. We have covered pretty much all of Sedona scenes and had been waiting to try Costa. Loved our cocktails, attentive service and delicious food. My hubby finished his entree in no time. The yucca bread that comes free before the meal is mind blowing. Also the 3 different sauces that come with it. Don't wait. Go before it becomes super hard to get into.

Unique and delicious food & cocktails. The food menu is a bit limited (only 4 entrees), but everything we ordered was delicious. The only tiny negative is that the chairs are a little uncomfortable (very low and awkward to lean back in), but not a big deal when you're tasting things you can't find anywhere else. The lobster ceviche was amazing!

This place was awesome! It seems relatively new, and definitely worth the try. We sat outside and the views were spectacular. The food was amazing... i forgot to take a picture of the Ahi tuna "wong tongs" but they were my absolute favorite. I'm gluten free and they were super knowledgeable about it, and the menu was marked so that was a plus. We were able to get the ahi tuna dish modified to be gluten free. The tostada de carne was amazing, and the ceviche was good and very refreshing! My boyfriend and I both got the Negroni Latino drinks and they were so good! Not one bad thing to say about this place. We absolutely loved it.

Simply put... outstanding! You will find yourself shaking your head in disbelief! One of the most favorable dining experiences in my life! The civiche mixto was incredible and I have never had a better tenderloin set. Quaint, delicate, bold, and stylish with personality! I will be a regular!!!

This place is a gem!! Don't pass it by if you are in Sedona and like delicious Latin cuisine. We took our server's advice and got the fried shrimp, salad, ceviche mixto and beef tenderloin. All were perfect tapas style dishes for sharing. We were blown away by every dish- all were unique and inventive with extraordinary flavors. For dessert we had the Brazo Gitano (rolled cake with almonds and strawberries served with dulce de leche ice cream). It was to die for!! The staff were all so welcoming and attentive. We would have come back the next day to try some of the other dishes on the menu, but they were closed Tuesday-Wednesday which was the last day for us in Sedona. Oh well, that just gives us an excuse to make plans for another trip to this wonderful restaurant in such a scenic part of the southwest!

We ended up sitting outside, and I loved that the patio was covered and equipped with heaters, which made it cozy even with the weather acting up a bit. It was lightly sprinkling, and we did get a few drops here and there, but honestly, it didn't take away from the experience. Now let's talk about the food--absolutely delicious. The deviled eggs were generously stuffed and beautifully presented, which made them just as enjoyable to look at as they were to eat. We shared the filet mignon, served with mushroom risotto, and wow... it was completely out of this world. Perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. We paired it with the honey garlic carrots, and they were the perfect balance of sweet and savory--definitely a standout side. I also ordered a smoked blueberry sour cocktail, and it was so good--unique, refreshing, and well-crafted. Service was solid and consistent throughout the meal. Nothing over-the-top, but everything came out smoothly and as expected. Overall, this spot really delivered--from the ambiance to the flavor-packed dishes. I'd absolutely come back again.

The owners, Suzanne & Randy, have created a special dining experience in the heart of Verde Valley Wine Country. This hidden gem offers an eclectic menu that truly sets it apart from anything else in the area. To steal my wife's description, "Manzanita Restaurant is a culinary oasis in the middle of nowhere, where flavors collide, and memories are made." SERVICE: The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's obvious that they take pride in ensuring a memorable dining experience. We couldn't have felt more welcome or had better dining experiences on both visits. WINE: Manzanita has a decent selection of wines by the glass and bottle. It's not the largest, but there's something to pair with all dishes. Both times we had a fantastic bottle of Zinfandel from Geyserville, CA, which paired great with our meat entrées. The bottle price is very reasonable, as we used to be members of that winery and know what they charge. FOOD: Outstanding gourmet game specialties and German delights. We've tried several soups, sides, and main dishes and have enjoyed them all. Soups of the Day have ranged from Pumpkin Purée, Ostrich, to Manhattan Clam Chowder. Salads can be added as a side or as an entrée, including adding Chicken Breast or Grilled Salmon. We've also tried a couple appetizers like the Edamame & Roasted Brussel Sprouts In a ginger soy glaze with sesame seeds, and the French Escargot served in mushroom caps with garlic herb sauce. Main entrées we've tried include an Orange Roughy Special with red cabbage, a Manzanita Salad with Chicken Breast, Fried Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Bison Tenderloin with vegetable medley, Venison Medallions Special with a creamy mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes, Antelope Steak Special, and a Prime Rib Special. There's nothing I wouldn't hesitate to order again. I'm half German and love German cuisine, but amazingly I've yet to try anything from that part of the menu. They have a couple pasta dishes as well. The restaurant is not overly fancy or extremely modern, but it's slightly upscale, comfortable, and the food and service are both stellar. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a unique dining experience, this family restaurant won't disappoint. We can't wait for our next visit!

There is a lots of foliage, fire, relaxing lighting , indoor and outdoor seating, and lots of charm. The Service: Cersei was our host and he was nothing short of amazing, He was attentive had questions for our questions to make sure we got the most out of our dinner. He was great with suggestions and really just made the experience that much more fulfilling. We thank you sincerely Cesar, you are a gene human being. If you are the base line of the kind of host they hire ... I could only assume all the staff reflects your hosting. The food: Well where do I start... The appetizers were the empanadas, we got the filet of beef Empanadas and they were delicious, I love making empanadas at home but I usually bake mine, most places fry them... Mariposa bakes theirs too and I was pretty stoked about it. We also got their yuca fries, and I have never had them the way Mariposa makes them they were perfectly shaped, crispy and delicious. On top of that all the sauces that came with these appetizers were delicious. Out main courses were also on point, I got the Ribeye, my wife the Filet Mignon and my Suegra got the the pork chop and the sides we chose was the squash, mushrooms and elote corn. My Ribeye was perfect mid rare with a wonderful wood fire char on it, each bite was butter and mixed with the mushrooms or corn delicious, my wife took her time on her Filet, you can tell she was enjoying every bite. My suegra finished her pork... she usually does not finish her food... this time she cleaned her plate and then some. I can also say their cocktails both virgin and alcoholic were just perfect with our meal. We ended with some desserts, I got the tres leches and my wife got the flan. They did not disappoint and I took my time with the tres leches. My wife usually only eats my tres leches and she liked this one.
