    Lobster risotto

This time we tried new dishes. The steak frites was better than Paris! The lobster was PERFECT. But, the brussel sprouts are unforgettable. I'll order those again, any time. Very fresh. Tony made me a Oaxacan Old Fashioned... better than the one I had in Santa Fe. It was a great night. The next morning we had am omlette and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The standout for me at Willow's is ALWAYS the service. Mario, Ashley, Aubrey, Mr. Mario, and Tony went above and beyond this visit. They make our experiences at Poco Diablo memorable.

Staying at the Resort so we figured we would try out Willows for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was empty. Anthony was our waiter and he was great. He had advised us immediately that they were out of Flat Bread to make the artichoke or cured meat Flatbread. And they were also out of Ribeyes. It's only Monday! I ordered the Beet Salad and my Husband ordered the Cesar Salad. We ordered the Meat balls as well We waited about a half hour for our food. Both of our salads were good. Portion size is average. But the meatballs were not something we would order again. They were like rubber, and not very flavorful. Very disappointing. Overall the food is nothing fantastic, the views are amazing, and the service was good

Waze led us to the parking lot across the street, but the restaurant is in the Poco Diablo resort with a small sign outside. It's new so be patient. Firecracker shrimp wraps (5/5) are a bit spicy (hence the name) but delicious and perfectly cooked. There were four big shrimps even though the photo looks like there's three. Brussels sprouts (4/5) we got based on another yelper's recommendation, but it wasn't the greatest ever. Not soggy but not crispy either. Apple and bacon was a good flavor combination. This is a 'side' as opposed to a small plate, so it is a smaller portion. Ahi tuna tacos (4/5) almost got me and the Mrs into an argument. I thought they needed some missing ingredient and she thought they were perfect as prepared. Just salt (I borrowed a bacon bit from the Brussels sprouts) improved the flavor balance. Including a line wedge on the side for optional use would have made us both happy. Flourless chocolate torte (5/5) was amazingly rich. No espresso machine (yet) but coffee was good with it. Too bad this place got off to a rough start with some unforgiving reviews; one lady didn't like the service and even after they comped all the meals for her whole family she still gave them one star. Willows was our best meal we had in Sedona during our three-day stay. Wish we had found it earlier as it was uncrowded at 6:30pm even during a busy holiday week. It's on OpenTable as well.

Ambiance and service are great but not sure how I feel about my Firecracker Shrimp coming out with unwashed lettuce with dirt! Also, the server gave us a 25% "birthday" discount to make up for the dirt on the lettuce, but regardless it's still a bit concerning that basic food safety measures weren't taken. (E.g. thoroughly washing all vegetables before serving) Makes me wonder if they wash any of their fruits and vegetables before serving.

Hey, just had to pop into this spot since it was the only one open in Sedona. Sara and Raphael treated us like royalty! The steak and eggs hit the spot, and the vibe and scenery were just amazing.

We decided to sit outside and share a plate. Got the 22 oz ribeye. For the price it was no better the Texas road house chain food , but decent. They forgot our veggies. Nobody ever noticed. So I will give this a three star with bad service. The waiter should have noticed. They have a beautiful seating both inside and outside. And just a huge amazing wine list. I wouldn't mind trying this place again but I'll order something on the cheaper side next time.

Nice breakfast spot if you're staying at the Poco Diablo hotel. Also, friendly service.

Stayed the night at the resort and had drinks at the bar and Big Tony had the best banter. Made great cocktails and made everyone feel at home, entertaining. Worth a visit if only for drinks.

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all very nice! Not too over the top or understated, just right

Big Tony is the best bartender in Sedona!! He had amazing customer service, as well as hospitality. Easy going and made us super tasty drinks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone stopping by Sedona.

Ashley was our waitress both nights we went to dinner and she was personable and attentive and helped give some visitor tips as we navigated our trip. The ribeye was fantastic and their mocktails were yummy! We ended up eating here more than uptown Sedona due to service, food quality and the view.

    Spicy margarita

We had drinks and a couple of apps on the patio. The restaurant is beautiful, service is great, cocktails were fantastic and our apps were very tasty. We loved the artichoke flatbread and firecracker shrimp.

We had the wine tasting flight special which included 5 wines (2 whites 3 reds) and a personal charcuterie. The charcuterie was mostly cheese but also had some nuts and ham. The wines were a good variety and I think mostly from Europe. We also ordered a panini each and both the pesto chicken and caprese were tasty. We also ordered the white wine board which was perfect to snack on during our time. Everything was nice. We found out that they do have live music starting in March on Fridays and Saturdays. Although we live in Flagstaff we plan on visiting again in March. Great spot to take a few friends and sit in the outside patio to enjoy the weather. Last note is that they have a really nice selection. Don't pass on the AZ wines they are surprisingly good.

We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.
