We ended up here because our Airbnb packet told us to check it out. It's a very laid back and casual ambiance with lots of locals. We sat at the bar and asked for an aperol spritz, they didn't have it. So we asked for a mimosa, they didn't have that either. I should've known because it's not "that" kind of a bar. I ended up settling with some white wine. Julie, the bartender ended up giving us happy hour prices since they didn't have what we wanted. She also overheard us talking about going to Jenny Lake later. She then gave us some pointers and suggested we check out Dornan's as well. We listened to her advice and checked out Dornan's and we were SO glad we did! She also gave us a little walk through of the bar and explained some very interesting historical facts. Julie was so sweet and kind to do all that for us. If you're in the area, I would definitely suggest checking it out. And remember, it's not a fancy bar. read more

We used to love this bar and normally set it as a meeting spot with friends and family but you can't even hear yourself or others conversation. We still stop in now and then but moving more often to Sidewinders. read more

There was music playing which was appreciated since we had previously stopped by the cowboy bar in Jackson hole (don't waste your time). They also serve food here and have a pool table. So, we ordered at 7:23 pm.2 burgers and fries. 8:25 we are told there is still a 1/2 hour wait and one guy told us if we would have ordered tacos we would have gotten served faster? Then why do you advertise burgers then? So everyone behind us in line was getting their "tacos" and we got screwed. Got our money back and left. It's a typical local you gotta know someone place. I would highly suggest you stick to a drink because the bartender was money. Do NOT go here and order burgers because clearly that's not their jam. Actually it was kind of being discriminated against...both as a non local with money to spend and the way we were treated. Shitty manager as well. Thinks he someone. Haven't been there in a couple of years but used to go on Sunday nights when visiting Jackson. It was always a hoot, filled with the rich and the regular folks. Could not tell the difference. Absolutely worth a visit. It's a classic Western cowboy/roadhouse bar/saloon and dance hall. read more

Super good food and such a fun band! I had the street tacos and they were so good! My kids had burgers, and I tried one and it was a really good burger. My husband had the elk sausage and said it was awesome. The kids wanted to see us dance, but we chickened out since we're not locals and most of the dancers were locals. when i think of the "coach" it reminds me of the Brooks and Dunn song... boot Scootin' Boogie... "Out in the country past the city limits sign well there's a honky tonk near the county line... The joint starts jumpin' every night when the sun goes down... They got whiskey, women music and smoke It's where all the cowboy folk go to boot scootin' boogie...I see outloaws, inlaws, crooks and straights... All out makin' it shake..." While the coach is very close to my heart it is still a wicked place to go... i think this is one of the only places in JH where you can see a ski bum, a ditch digger and a fortune 500 CEO all sitting around the bar enjoying a pint... the place is not the nicest inside but there is somethign about the place that everyone loves... also on Sunday they offer the Stagecoach band... they have place every sunday for something like 1200 sundays... it works out that they have been playing every sunday there since the 70's... they are pretty good and on sunday you will ge the dancing crowd... this is an older group but still alot of fun... Thursday night is disco night (or at least was) and this get a younger crazier crowd... no matter when you are in the area you have to stop... it is a great local dive bar... imagine cheers western style... read more

The Coach is one of the best bars in Jackson Hole, and yes, it is a dive bar but with a ton of history. In winter: go ski, drink beer, eat food, repeat! In summer: ride bike, drink beer, eat food, repeat! And don't forget Church on Sunday night. Don't miss this Port of Call! read more

I was trying to get some fresh air for my hyperventilation and I asked a door person to open the door to help my condition. They warned me of their host rules about opening the door. Heard about this bar on Sunday nights for live music from friends we have who frequent Jackson/Wilson. Such a fun dive bar with a great vibe! The locals were nice, welcoming, and fun, and it was also a fun spot for tourists. However, the bald shorter bartender completely ruined the vibe for tourists! Seemed annoyed that it was crowded and acted like it was a HUGE hassle to pour a beer or make a drink! He would groan and slam money down and was terribly grumpy and rude. I get it, it is more of a local spot and a lot of tourists are there on Sundays, but isnt that a good thing?? More money!!! Yikes! This guy should be talked to because he ruins the experience!! The streetfood at the Stage Coach was awesome! We had just finished mountain biking the Teton pass and were starving, and by the looks of it everyone else was in the same boat as us, as the place was packed full of mountain bikers. But the food came out quick, was in big portions, and tasted amazing! The burgers were awesome, and were very customizable with lots of tasty add-on options.
