They were busy with the brunch crowd but we were seated within a few minutes and our server dropped off a basket of warm rolls while we browsed the menu. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich which she very much enjoyed. Since their Pan-Fried Chicken was named "Famous" I just had to order that. Four delicious pieces of perfectly fried chicken and the mashed potatoes with cracklin' gravy was amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Everyone was so nice and it was a wonderful experience. Side Note - My wife did ask me why I did not order the Chicken and Waffles as it appeared almost every other table had an order. While I love a good waffle, I need to have good cup of coffee with it and seeing how it was almost noon I had left my personal coffee window.

Crunchy coating, thick poblano peppers absolutely full of delicious, melty cheese. The addition of the green chili was a beautiful accompaniment. The borracha beans had a little too much cinnamon in them and it took away from the beans themselves. The chili rice was mediocre, the chili was not pronounced and there was not enough flavor to warrant ordering it as a side in the future. My husband's burrito was another place where there seemed to be an abundance of cinnamon that did not seem to belong. I think it had the same beans in the burrito which made the flavors not well-balanced and somewhat off-putting. The relleno was the star of the show and definitely something that we would come back for though! Overall, this was a good choice and a welcome addition to the Mexican food options in Castle Rock!
