I always order lox with avocado on a side, last time i've been they changed the menu from lox with egg salad to loc on a bagel. My order lox with avocado on a sode and arugula salad and of course i get hot unsweetened matcha with regular milk. Do not forget desert, i always grab banana bread. First time i came the lady suggested me this desert and i sticked from that day on :) I will attach few picture, but i always order the same thing and its delicious! There's several lunch options that I didn't get to try this visit but I'm looking forward to returning. The only thing i thought was a bit weird was that some of the indoor tables had reserved signs on them and no one ever showed up to eat at them I don't know why they put them there, but it feels a little unwelcoming especially when they are clearly not reserved and the restaurant is so casual that it doesn't make sense to have reserved signage.

Because my job requires me to always travel. I'm always looking for a spot nearby where I can get a quick bite or enjoy my morning with a Hearty breakfast. By tasting the eggs in the omelette, I can tell that there's effort put into the ingredients and seasoning the slight pleasant creaminess of the eggs tell the whole story and the selection that goes into the scramble is so delicious! And fitting I recommend the chicken apple sausage in the omelette. It's not even a question of whether or not I'll be enjoying my morning here again it's a firm most definitely! I have come once every few years and this place still hits. My niece ordered the 3 egg scramble with: smashed avocado, queso fresco, and spinach with home fried potatoes. My sister ordered the Belgian Liege Waffle with Berries and Banana. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak Quesadilla. We shared foods and hit the ultimate combo of savory and sweet. We saved the Waffle for dessert. The most surprising thing was how amazing and crisp the waffle was after we ate the savory parts of our shared meals. This is the second location in The Valley. The other location is in Granada Hills. Apparently Doja Cat, Vanilla Ice, Stevie Wonders, and other celebs are regulars that they have a menu called "Eat like the Stars," based on the celebrities usual order.

It would be difficult to come here and not find something for even the pickiest of eaters. You want something sweet, savory, comforting, light, rich, filling, whatever, you'll find it on the menu. The service can be hit and miss; sometimes it's great, sometimes it's lackluster. But overall the bright clean atmosphere and great food make up for where it's lacking. My husbands favorite is the ridiculously huge pot pie, matzo ball soup (he craves this when he's sick), or the Rueben and mine is the hot turkey plate (basically a thanksgiving plate) or the turkey Rueben. I've been to several deli's and this is the only one I've ever been able to find a turkey version. Parking can be a pain. There's a lot but they share with a lot of other businesses and if you're there on a weekend, be prepared to wait a while or try the street.

Luckily I had my fan to help cool off my soup. I did add a little salt and pepper. Other than that it was total comfort. $15 We shared a club sandwich and got French fries instead. All the condiments, Russian dressing, ranch come in prepackaged little containers. Ranch tasted fresh and homemade. I used a little of the Russian dressing. Helpful in our decision making. Ricardo cracked me up because he brought a small soup container for my friend's cabbage soup. She was a little perturbed it was too small. Parking is really easy here, there is a large free parking lot attached right in front. As mentioned service was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. One thing I love about this place is it's very long and there is a very big counter if you prefer to sit there or there's also a long row of booths. So it can host many different sized groups. It has a true retro diner aesthetic to it, which I really love. For this visit, I chose the Turkey Chili and Cheese Omelette and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was just great and I would highly recommend to anyone. I also want to point out that their coffee is especially tasty and strong and was another highlight of the meal. Since it was going to be a long wait, my wife and daughter waited in the car and I asked the hostess if it was cool if I sat down by the bar area and order a coffee which I plan to pay for. I was told by the hosts that that area is first come first serve so she didn't see a problem with it so I sat there. One of the gentleman that works there asked if I wanted anything to drink so I ordered a coffee. Moments later, while drinking my coffee the lady that's assigned to that section asked if I wanted to order anything or if I needed a menu which then I informed her that I was waiting for a table and was told it was cool if I sat there while I drank a coffee. She then rudely stated in Spanish. "I DON'T MAKE MONEY THAT WAY" then storms off. The lady starts complaining to her coworkers and they start looking my way. They then inform the guy that always wears a black shirt and slick back hair who I believe is a manager and he comes over and explains that this section is for walk ins that plan to sit and eat here and am welcomed to wait outside or in the waiting area.I informed him it wasn't a problem but thats the reason I asked from the beginning. I also mentioned we drove from Simi Valley to come here and there were many other restaurant options but I told him how the waitress treated me and he said he would talk to her. I told him I would pay for the coffee and I would leave. He said don't worry about the coffee. I didn't even finish my coffee I set it down and left. After coming here for years with family, friends, even referring this place to others I WILL NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN. We made our way to the Country Café in Chatsworth and of course got great hospitality and food.

It's definitely in the pricier side for breakfast a coffee but it's worth the experience - at least once.
