    Matcha
    Julia K.

Honestly so disappointed. I paid almost $10 for this matcha and it tasted like straight milk with zero matcha flavor. Even the "matcha cold foam" tasted like nothing. They advertise it as ceremonial grade matcha, but there was no rich or authentic matcha taste at all. Definitely not worth the price. I basically paid $10 for milk.

Stopped by Bostan By Grandma for a nice chat with a friend. We only ordered drinks and I got a blueberry jam ice matcha latte. The ambiance of the place is very aesthetic. I like the mismatching decor. The servers were also very helpful and nice as it was our first time there. The matcha, while pretty, was just okay. I do want to come back and try some of their food and coffee instead.

Service was top-notch. The barista/server looked like the owner, but he was so sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. The food; however, felt a little lacking. The sandwich was dry and I wish we were given some sort of sauce to go with it. The blueberry pancakes were more sponge-y than soft and melting in your mouth. Just a little feedback! Overall the ambiance was nice and the place is super cute. We came in around the afternoon and it wasn't too loud.

Had high hopes for this bakery and unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming. Ordered two drinks, pistachio cloud latte and mango matcha. While the pistachio latte was tasty, the drinks were overpriced. The pistachio latte was $10 and the mango matcha was $9. When walking in, we were not greeted and the service by the person who took our order was not very positive. Our drinks were certainly not up to par with the price, and will unfortunately not be coming back any time soon.

I think it's been a year since we were here last and I have to say the food and service has stayed consistent. I love how they serve the drinks in different cups, so everyone gets something unique and different. The tables inside are also all different. The speed at which the food came out was much faster than last time which was great! The taste on everything was wonderful, I just wish the breakfast sandwich had more basturma in it.

I've been here twice now, and overall it's a cozy, charming spot for brunch. There's only street parking, but both times I was able to find a space pretty easily. The first time I came, it was tough to find seating and we ended up at a very small table that barely fit our food it felt cramped. The second time, I grabbed a large table by the front window, but since it was only 2 of us, we ended up sharing with another couple. It was a little awkward sharing the space with strangers who weren't the friendliest, but that's not the restaurant's fault. You order your food at the counter first, and then they bring everything to you. Service can be hit or miss, this time, we asked for a knife and water, and the server handed them to another table instead and never brought them back. Also, the 7% service fee is confusing... I'm not sure why it's added. As for the food: * Burrata toast: Excellent. Would definitely order again. * Cucumber toast: Not for me, I wouldn't reorder. * Blueberry pancakes: Beautiful presentation and delicious, but definitely a shareable item, not something one person could finish. * Tomato omelette: Just okay. Even after asking for light tomatoes, it still felt like a lot. The bread that came with it, though, was light, fluffy, and really good. * Pistachio latte: The standout for me! Sweet, flavorful, and topped with real pistachios. Pricey, but worth it. All in all, it's a great vibe it is very cute, warm, and cozy. The food is good, and some items are excellent, but the prices are on the higher side and service could be more consistent. I'd still come back!

This place is good and I feel bas a kid of potential but imo is very pricey. I got the pistachio latte and the Bostan breakfast sandwich with Basturma and my total was like...$34 or something. Crazy!!!! My latte was VERY sweet and didn't even taste like it had coffee in it. The sandwich was good and the bread looked to be fresh.... and I understand that Basturma is expensive but the item itself doesn't need to be $23... Staff is very friendly and decor is interesting!

Portions are shareable you are able to make a very nutritious plate by sharing a few items on the menu.

This is a great spot for casual breakfast or brunch, it has a very homey feeling to it, the meals are amazing, everything tastes fresh and flavorful. Me and my friend got 2 items and immediately started digging in, it's very shareable portions, many healthy options on the menu. The tomato omelette was great, and the nude bowl was very light. The restaurant has luxury vintage vibe to it. Overall obsessed!

Love the ambiance and the details that make this place unique - the dried flowers, hand written signs, wooden tables, and wide variety of seats. Beautiful place for some brunch. The food was good, but the cake I chose (honey cream cake) was not for me.

First time here and we were searching for some place to have brunch. This place delivers! They have a variety of choices and my husband can share because their portions were pretty generous. We had a salmon Benedict that comes with a large enough serving. We also ordered a couple of coffee/espresso drinks. I had a coffee Viennese and hubby had a salted caramel. Everything was so good that we have decided we will definitely come back. Street parking only and the weekends are crowded. It is a small place and tough for a big group. Staff could use more help because things took time. They seem quiet and humble.

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting, with a really unique aesthetic that stands out from your typical brunch spot. The food was outstanding -- everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tomato omelette was a highlight, and that pistachio cloud latte is something you have to try -- seriously next level. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. It's the kind of place you go to once and immediately want to come back. Perfect for a relaxed brunch or coffee date. Highly recommend!

Delicious Armenian cafe/brunch foods at this restaurant in Granada Hills! I visited this restaurant cafe around noon on a Saturday and it was pretty packed. The interior was aesthetic and filled with greenery which I loved. It was like eating in an indoor garden. There were different types of seats and tables. There were also some tables and seats outside. Thankfully, my friend and I were able to score a table and seats after a couple left. The table was dirty, but one of the baristas came and cleaned it up for us. You place your order at the counter up front and the also have menus there. They also accept Apple Pay. They will then bring the food to your table. My friend an I ordered the Tomato Omelette, the Khatchapuri, and the Blueberry Pancakes and we loved everything! - Tomato Omelette - The tomato egg mixture was super flavorful and had a nice tanginess from the eggs. It was liquidy in a good way and soft. Loved the feta chunks in it as well. It came with a side of this fluffy bread which was so good. I loved dipping it in the egg mixture which just soaked up the juicy goodness. - Khatchapuri - Probably my favorite dish out of the bunch. Again, the bread was fluffy and warm and the cheese was so meaty and good. It was buttery and flavorful. I also loved pairing this dish with the tomato omelette, a must to get both dishes together. - Blueberry Pancakes - Super fluffy and moist. Loved the cream and the sweat blueberries. The blueberry compote who seeped into the pancake well and was flavorful. Only critique is I wish the blueberries were tangier to elevate the dish more. Even though these were mostly carbs, the ingredients used seemed like whole food which explains the healthy and quality taste of the ingredients. It was like farm to table. Afterwards, even though I was full I didn't feel tired or bad. It was also a good experience to share the dishes with a friend so you can try several things. The service was pretty good and the staff were nice. For parking, I parked in the side street for free, but I'm not sure if they have a designated parking area. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and I would love to come back again especially to try the coffee!

The line was long to get a table, so come prepared to wait a little bit, like at any breakfast place on a Sunday morning. My wife and I took our boys here for Sunday breakfast. My wife got the Newton's 7 AM Breakfast with an over medium egg, bacon, and hash browns for $17.95. She also added a single pancake for $3.50. I got the brisket burrito with no salsa roja because I can't have tomatoes, and I have to say, it was delicious, but it was also $20.95. My wife ordered scrambled eggs for the boys for $6.00, which they didn't eat, so I ended up eating them, like always. She also decided to get the boys the puff cakes. Apparently, they're like little pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar on top, and the boys seemed to like them a lot. Those were $7.95. We also got miscellaneous pastries from the display to the right of the cashiers, each costing around five dollars or less. To top it all off, I ended up getting a cold brew coffee for my caffeine fix with light ice. I added vanilla and with extra pump in there, which came with an extra charge of $0.50 plus another $0.25. My bill before tax was $75.20, and after tax it came out to $82.52. I had to ask my wife, "Is that right? Does that seem right to you?" She said yes and told me she looked it over. That's just what it was. We tasted everything. My boys liked the puff cakes, my wife liked her breakfast, and my brisket burrito was very delicious. However, at $20.95 the burrito probably wouldn't be my first choice next time. The service here is very basic. You wait outside in line for them to find you a table, and once your table is ready, you walk up to the counter and place your order. They bring the food to you when it's ready. I didn't have any issues with this setup. The ambiance is your typical breakfast/brunch restaurant that opens early in the morning and closes early in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place to people who want to try some different breakfast items, but just be aware of how much everything costs. Maybe check the menu on Yelp beforehand to see if it fits what you're looking for. I would definitely come back again, but I'd probably make some changes to my order and leave out the pastries. Maybe pastries are better if you're just stopping by for coffee and a snack, but if you're coming for breakfast, you can probably skip them. Thank you for the brunch, Claudine Kitchen and Bakeshop.

They have a big mirror near the entrance you can take pictures with your friends at, and as a girl, I looove it haha. There's two levels, like a loft area you can chill at if you like towering over all the other customers. I love high places so that's my favorite spot to chill. The store itself is very well themed and the decore is pretty cool. Service was even better. The good looking guy with curly hair (I think his name is Luis) who serves me on occasion is always so sweet and polite, great customer service skills. Too bad for me he has a gf, but we looove a loyal king who loves his girl! The other employees are great too btw everyone has a great attitude every time I've been, they handle the stress of the rushes well and are easy to relate to. They make it feel less as a transaction, and more like seeing a friendly acquaintance you get to catch up with. Clearly Yellowhouse has employees who know what they're doing with being not only efficient, but delivering quality drinks and service. Great all around, 10/10 would recommend.

I usually order this same meal and genuinely love it, but today just felt like a miss. The toast was extremely thin and hard--almost more like a crisp than bread. I asked if there was another option or even just a different slice, but was told that all the bread was like that, which was surprising since that hasn't been my experience here before. The house-made jam was also off today--it was much more watery than usual and didn't have that same rich texture I'm used to. The potatoes were underwhelming as well--lacking seasoning and slightly burnt. I will say, the server was kind and did bring out a vegan date pastry after I had already received my bill, which I appreciated. It just wasn't something I would typically choose, and nothing was adjusted on the bill. For the price, I just expected more consistency and care, especially from a place I usually really enjoy. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but today it just wasn't up to par. I'm hoping this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past and would love to see them get back to that.
