SCAM! This guy Tony messaged me on Facebook looking to sale me a sewer camera. I'm in need of one so I entertained the offer. He offered a $10,000 camera at $2500 bc it is used which I agreed. I asked questions to make sure of what I'm getting and did my research which the company seems legit. At first I had some red flags but I gave the benefit of the doubt. When it came to payment I had a $71 charge on my credit card for PlayStation Network???? I immediately asked the dumbass what he is doing and he stated he needed to see if the card had money. WOW! That's the biggest red flag. At this point I told him to fuck off and I'll make this review. Now that I've canceled my card and disputed the charge, this dude just got it backfired haha. I want to start by saying I originally found this company on Yelp. Contacted them twice before I drove to there facility. Dropped off two cameras,brought back the rigid camera after it was repaired to have the head fall of on the first abs 2" clean out. Decided to take it somewhere else!! Waited to have our other camera completed after 3-4 months now the monitor connector to the reel had been installed with Silicone to hold it in place!! Pretty much this company sucks ass/ the owner is always to busy posting shit on Instagram on what he's ass is going to eat!!! Rather than overseen the work coming in. To all plumbers find a good company to get your equipment looked at. Don't waste your time with a mediocre Company!! I absolutely hate doing this to a fellow business owner, but I know I've got a lot of plumbers on my page. Absolutely do not do business with SSR Technology. We sent a camera to be repaired. After they gave us the estimate we approved and paid. They promised to ship our camera that Monday. They printed a shipping label to make us think it was shipped. It was another week and me leaving comments on the owners personal videos in his page for our camera to get shipped. SSR flipped our push rod and reattached the camera. On the VERY FIRST use, the camera came detached from the push rod. 2 weeks of calling, emailing and messaging, and not a single call back. I've never done this before, but we will be disputing the charge to our bank. I should have been smart enough to read the reviews. Our story is no different. read more

Let me preface this by saying I really don't want to be leaving this comment right now, but you've left me no choice and I feel like others have a right to know so they don't face the same hardship and loss of resources. I sent you two (2) sewer cameras for repairs (both of them can be seen in the picture below from a video you posted on your personal facebook page) on 9/21/20, you signed with USPS that you received them on 9/25/20. You called my business that you received them and sent an invoice that you stated needed to be paid before you could begin work. I paid the invoice on 10/8/20 and even provided you with return shipping paid on my behalf. Ironically, once you received payment, you became completely unresponsive. I have a string of emails requesting a status update, spoke with Yvette numerous times where she would say she needed to "put me on hold to check the shop" and then would say she would call me back 10 minutes later. That never happened and now it's to the point you won't even answer your business phone, cell phone, or any emails. It looks as if I'm not the only business that is getting scammed and had to even move forward with filing a dispute with my bank. Having my equipment down for this long has cost me thousands of dollars to my business. I have started gathering all communication records and will be moving forward with legal action, even if that means driving to your establishment to pick up my unrepaired cameras myself so I have them repaired by a reputable business. SSR Technology's repair service is at best, abysmal. I sent in a camera to be repaired in February of this year. They invoiced in March, and I received the unit in April. It didn't work. No picture. They've not responded to my calls or email contact until I reversed the charges on my credit card. Then, and only then, did they respond (funny how money talks) with an email offer to repair the camera and throw in a new monitor. I get to pay for shipping again. It's May. Another company is repairing the camera. They held my equipment captive for 3 months and cost me untold amounts of money. This smacks of the old South Coast Equipment Scams. read more

I agree will the previous reviewer, i took my camera to ssr a few times and never really worked properly, my last visit I left a color self leveling camera head to be repaired and after multiple times trying to get ahold of them I just gave up, ( so they kept a color self leveling head that was my back up ) its a company with poor customer service, 0 quality, hard hard hard to get ahold of and really not worth your head ache, I have returned my business to Seektech and believe me it i way worth the price and the wait, stay away from this company i would not recommend either to anyone in the plumbing and drain cleaning industry. hardest company to get a hold of, they do not answer their phones, return voice mails or emails. you pay to ship equipment to and from their shop. we sent a part of our camera in and they "fix the part" and returned to us. we turned camera on and still did not work. so we resent the whole camera back to ssrt it took 3 months for a response as to what was broken. we accepted the invoice and paid. got our camera back nothing, nothing works, no power, doesnt turn on etc., there was screws at the bottom of the case, it was returned dirty, we will not be returning to do business with this company. read more

Our plumbing company purchased a sewer camera and locator from SSR Technology several months back. It was ready when SSR said it would be and when we needed a repair, the repair was done and the equipment was back to us in just a few days. We had another issue while we were on a job site and SSR Technology's owner immediately came to our job site and helped us resolve the problem. It took about 5 minutes and we were back to work. Tomorrow we are bringing in a piece of equipment for repair we purchased somewhere else. We made this decision because of the great service SSR Technology has given us ever since we've known them! The owner and staff are wonderful and responsive. Every one of our phone calls has been returned in a timely manner. Give this company a try! You won't be disappointed! read more

I am the service manager for my plumbing company. I have to oversee the repair of all of our cameras. these are a very important tool we use to educate our customers on the condition of there sewer lines. They have called me when they get things troubleshoot to let me know what needs to be done and what the price will be. They will even send me shipping labels so I just have items picked up when boxed. The only thing that lost them the five star is they will not let me just open a account to get a bill. It's a bit of a problem to have to pay with a credit card every time, since my company is not really set up this way. I do expect to keep doing business with them read more
