I did not have a good experience. I felt overcharged and constantly pressed for progress payments. After completion, some of the security cameras Jerod installed were not working. The cameras were also not pointing in the right directions. I requested service. Jerod told me that he would charge me $360 for the service call. I am very unhappy. After fighting with my wifi for the last year, I finally gave up. We used the project feature on Yelp to get bids to run ethernet cables from my husband's home office to mine. We got a few calls right away and multiple estimates between 250 -750 sight unseen. Jarod from Moonlight came out same day, to take a look at what we were asking. He walked us through our options and gave us some suggestions. Once we decided how to proceed, he gave us a very reasonable estimate. Luckily, he was able to fit us in later that same day. Integrity, Solid Work Ethic, Profesional, and All-around Nice Guy. Adequate qualifiers for Jarod, who installed a 77" LG set, as well as added an electrical outlet at a higher level, for a clean finished look. He was respectful of our home by filling in old holes on the wall and collecting any drywall debris that was generated. Jarod handled installation, new outlet, and all electrical material in about 2 hours. It was obvious that he was a skilled professional. Then, as the TV was being unwrapped, TRAGEDY struck... there was a crack on the screen. After the sound of the Sad Trombone dissipated, I figured Jarod would be like: "Well.. sucks to be you..see ya!" Showing genuine interest in his customer's needs, he helped me re-pack the TV and offered to help me load the TV onto my truck and even go to Costco to help me exchange it. I ended up taking his offer to re-pack the TV, and my son and I handled the rest. He declined payment, but I insisted on paying him. He then offered to return to finish the job later in the day. I recently hired MoonLight Audio Visual Pro to complete several projects at the commercial complex where I am a property manager, and I could not be more pleased and satisfied with the terrific service we received. The buildings are old (built in the 1960's), so I didn't think that it would be possible to update, modernize, and restore the ancient built-in stereo system and electricity in one of our units, but Jerod completely surpassed all of my expectations. A few things impressed me about MoonLight Audio Visual Pro right away: Jerod responded to my request quickly, and was willing to drive all the way out to El Cajon to give me a free estimate for the job I needed done. When I spoke with him via phone, he was all the things I want in a contractor/vendor - he was super friendly, obviously very knowledgeable, and flexible with scheduling. When Jerod came out to take a look at the tangled web of wires in the attic of the unit, he quickly assessed the problem, explained how he would fix it, AND gave me a bid that was several hundred dollars less than the others I had received. I appreciate the fact that Jerod quoted me a total cost for the project rather than an hourly rate. He said, "you're paying for the result, not for my time", which I thought was really fair. Jerod worked methodically and meticulously to identify our electrical and audio problems. He had a great "can-do" mentality, and he was also very responsive to our needs. When our tenant didn't like the audio receiver he recommended, he was able to suggest another model that was more compatible with her requirements (smaller and wall-mounted, for example). More importantly, Jerod is basically a magician at all home-improvement services - including home alarms and surveillance systems, electrical work, installing light fixtures and mounting chandeliers (see photo below), audio-visual installation, and even plumbing! He's also knowledgeable about ADA compliance and other building codes, which is really important in a commercial setting. In short, we are beyond pleased with the work that Jerod did for us, and we will be calling him first for absolutely any renovation work we need done in the future. Our home is wired for ethernet in most rooms. Several of the rooms had poor or no connection. Jarod came the next day, brought his own materials, and put in new keystone jacks in the rooms as well as new patch cables in the router closet.
