I've heard great things about 'ssippi for ages and now that I have a friend living in the neighborhood, I finally had a good opportunity to stop by. Such a cute little place with an impressive list of drinks options. I kept it simple with a glass of wine and grabbed a cozy booth to hang with friends for an hour or so. Service was friendly and the vibes were great. Will definitely be in again!

My favorite bar for a lowkey night with friends. You can bring cards, smoke outside on the patio, it's the best. Their wine is so good and their snacks are too!! Chill vibes and good music!!

This place was another spot I took my friend who was visiting. This is near Cherokee Street and parking is limited to street parking. This place is truly a hidden gem and very Instagrammable! It's a natural wine bar so it was only NATURAL that I try some wine after I had a boozy caffeinated drink! ( I can't recall the name). My friend and I had some sort of orange wine and I was impressed by how good it tasted! Our service was amazing and I will be back! Oh yeah, don't forget to check out their patio!

Dropped in here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Vibes are great, prices are right (house wine $8 for a good pour), and patio looked like it would be awesome in better weather. Inside seating is limited but luckily we got a booth so we stayed here most of the night!

We had a great time at 'Ssippi! There are a lot of natural wine options, along with cocktails and beer. The star of the show is their outdoor patio area. There were quite a few big groups when we visited so we sat inside for our first drink and waited for an outside table to open up. Two of the red wines we had were delicious, the third was a sparkling red wine (which we didn't realize was sparkling) and that one wasn't our favorite but happy to try something new!

Visiting STL for the first time from Detroit. Ssippi- great service, would let me try any wine until I found the right one for me. Fun, intimate decor- perfect for friends, dates, and more. Definitely a highlight of my visit. The bartender (Rachel) also recommended a local pizza spot, Pizza Head. Got a quick slice and it didn't disappoint, thanks!

Stopped by today to do a little work on the patio. I've never been but would definitely come back. Ordered my wine inside from the girl behind the bar, she was super sweet!

Went here Friday afternoon with a friend. The place was really cute and quaint. Only complaint was that it was cold in there! The person at the bar was super helpful in helping me and my friend decide what we wanted to drink. I had 2 different glasses of red wine, wish I could remember what they were but both were good. Parking was pretty easy and this place was pretty easy to find! There is not a big menu but there are some snacks available if you need something to munch on with your drinks. Nothing big or too filling though! Def enjoyed my drink and the place, excited to go back!

Great vibes. Nice music. Friendly bartenders. Ssippi is a small bar. They have cocktails, beer, and natural wine. We only had wine. They were very good, especially the reds. You can taste the wine before ordering a glass. I don't think we've had natural wine before. Only noticeable difference was one glass we had was the from the bottom of the bottle and there was a grainy residue left after we finished the glass. We had a good time. We'll be back.

Bartender was so sweet and bubbly! Wine delicious! Patio space incredible!! Also the fact they have pads and tampons in the bathroom!!! Yes thank you!! Saving a girl from a date disaster.

This place was beautifully chic and casual. A variety of different delicious wines and beers. Ample seating and picnic tables in the back. Overall such a fun and sexy spot! Will be returning when back in STL

Love the travel theme of space!…read more Both times I've been here, I've gotten the wine flight. I love that they put them in a tiered serving rack that puts them in the order you should drink them in. I had the bubbly flight, and it was outstanding. We've also had some of the small plates (not pictured was the charcuterie board and the house made bread). The food is prepared by Hamilton's and is outstanding. Service has tended to be a little on the slow side, but not too bad. Staff have always been friendly. There's not a ton of seating inside, but they do have a patio for nicer weather. It wasn't crowded either time we were there, but we weren't there at high crowd times. Highly recommend this place.

The wine selection was pretty solid, and they also had a great variety of beers. I didn't try the beer myself, but my guest really enjoyed theirs. The customer service was consistent and welcoming the entire time. We mainly came to relax, sip wine, and play UNO , and the atmosphere was perfect for that. While we didn't order food, everything coming out to nearby tables looked amazing. If you're looking for a mature, laid-back spot to unwind, Winnie's is definitely worth checking out. We'll definitely be back!

Minute after minute passed by where we watched the other tables get their drinks and we had to wait forever and a day for ours. By the time we got ours, I wasn't even in the mood. Of course it didn't help that the kitchen was closed, so we had no food to go with it. The drink itself was smoky, so smoky that it overpowered the rest of the ingredients in the drink, although I tasted hints of violet. Overall, the experience could have been better. I'm willing to give this place another shot, but maybe at a different time when it's not so busy.

Get a reservation or get there early…read more I had a BEAUTIFUL Sunday morning here. I checked the reservation online and they had a 10 AM opening and a line before they were even open. We sat outside , our server was wonderful and they were so helpful and accommodating. First I ordered the Dive Bar Coffee which just wasn't for me so i got the Dottie (with the good crunchy ice) instead and it was wonderful! (They even took the first one off and i didn't even ask, thoughtful. ) Food was delicious. My Hashbrown was delicious and crispy and seasoned and mm. And the salmon was yummy. My date got the baked eggs and loved it as well (they make their bread so will be back just to have bread). We also got the ButterScotch Budino for dessert. As someone who isn't a fan of pudding , this was goooooood. Salty, sweet and crumbling that cookie into it (per their suggestion), worth it. Their menu is seasonal so check before you go, but definitely go.

Yet another restaurant that surprised me in St. Louis. They have good food here. Like, foodie food…read more So my next dinner lead me to Little Fox. A small plates restaurant that felt a little Italian. We make reservations and show up to this place that looks like a neighborhood pub. Quaint, in the corner, inviting light shining through medium sized windows. Inside, the vibes were a hybrid of someone's very nice dining room and an old western saloon. I know that's almost nonsensical, but the vibes were good. We felt right at home. Service was spot on. The server was very nice and new the menu pretty well. The food came out tapas style, so when something was ready, it just came right out. I like that. I like the periods where there are so many plates on the table at one time that it's overwhelming. What's what eating is all about. As for the food itself, it was good. I'll give a little blurb on each thing, as not to wear out your eyeballs. Crispy Artichokes (sauce au vert). These were fun and nice and crispy. Don't see artichokes like these very often. The sauce was a little weak, though. Didn't exactly go well with these fried little morsels. 'Nduja Croquetas (bomba rice, spicy prosciutto, fontina, grenada pepper aioli). Wow, now these little flavor bombs cannot be missed. Spicy sausage arancinis with a nice peppery aioli to dip. An intensely flavorful little dish that I loved. Can't find it on the menu, maybe it was seasonal, maybe it was a special, but we had a bone marrow French onion soup that was nice. The soup was good good. Very well developed flavors. The marrow bone was a little sloppy, though, and we got a transverse cut of bone, leaving very little marrow to access. Next were the Mussels (green garlic broth, Spanish vermouth, pickled peppers, spring onions, grilled LF bread). Very well cooked mussels, sitting in a lovely broth to dip your bread in. Ask for extra bread. But do not ask for extra of that sauce. That was really bad sauce. Sauce work seems to be this place's only weak point. Probably the biggest dish of the night, the Bolognese Bianco (Newman Farms pork & mushroom bolognese, bucatini, gremolata, parmigiano reggiano). This was a really nice pasta dish! Love those big, thicc bucatini noodles. Flavorful bolognese, great texture from the gremolata, and just cheesy enough to make this probably the most complete dish of the night. Then finally the Sea Scallops (ramp soubise, morel mushrooms, house-cured pancetta). Scallops were scored and cooked to look like fine art. Light scallops paired with nice umami from the morels and the pancetta, all tied together by that nice soubise. You don't see that very often either. We ended the meal with a Sticky Toffee Pudding (apple & date cake, apple brandy toffee, crème chantilly, marcona almond tuile). Chef's kiss. Such a delicate sponge with a nice date flavor. Then boom, the sweet boozy toffee, the creamy chantilly, the texture from the tuile. Every element helped make this a great dessert to end a great meal. Overall, another very pleasant surprise. This was a very good dinner, and I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in St. Louis again.
