Poor service, lukewarm (at best) pizzas, clearly cooked ages ago and kept on the counter maybe. Difficulty getting an itemized bill , waitress wanted us to just believe her then she changed her mind a couple of times about what we owed. Never again read more

Pretty disappointed after reading all the wonderful reviews.... I ordered an old fashioned. I drink these pretty regularly so I familiar. I received my cocktail with almost half a cup of ice. It immediately gave watered down. I tried to take some of the ice out to make it better but it was melting so fast. I asked my server if I could have less ice. He told me he would have the bar remake it. Cool. Well the bar tender then approached and our table and decided to argue with me about how an old fashioned is made. I politely responded and said I would prefer less ice as that amount is watering down my cocktail. I was then told that if she remade it, it would taste the same and have less alcohol. "Huh?" Again, I politely responded. This drink is typically made with one large cube. A large cube will melt slower than several chipped ice cubes. I would prefer less ice please. Again instead of having what I asked for I was told she could strain it and give it back. Mam the drink has traveled back and forth a few times at this point. Life is too expensive to settle or receive less than the value of what you paid for. I declined and said I didn't want anything to drink at all. We decided to take our food order to go as we no longer felt welcome in this establishment. I should have taken a photo but wasn't expecting the back and forth. Oh well. There are plenty of restaurants in Savannah. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how good the vegan pizza was. 10 out of 10. Next time I'm in Savannah I will be going back.

I'm typically not the biggest fan of wood fired pizza. But, this surpassed my expectations! It is a small space, but quite a few tables and bar space. It was pretty crowded when we got there, but only had to wait about 20 minutes . Small beer selections, but what they have is decent! We tried the roast leg of lamb slider & beef tenderloin slider. They are served on a sweet bun, delicious! Great starter before your pizza. We got the Pepperoni and sausage pizza. Smaller than expected, but just enough for 2 people after the sliders! We will definitely be back read more

This is one of the newest and joyous of gems within the hostess city. Their Korean styled wings are a true taste explosion. Their pizzas, what can I even say to describe wonderful tasty treats. It's a pecan wood fired oven that cooks them, they have great crust, their sizes are amazing and their flavor profile of toppings is without compare. You will not have a bad experience here. Chris and Madison the bartenders are amazing and their waitstaff, including Shady and Kerrigan, are top notch. If you visit Savannah, this is a must stop within the city for lunch, happy hour, or dinner!!!! read more

Another Damn Good Pizza Spot in SAV...you cannot go wrong with any of them! Apps/Salads are all very tasty, but don't leave without trying the Sloppy Joe Sliders- They Are Sinfully Good! ***would have been a 5, but they were going through staffing changes and out of most of their Vin Rouge ****our server Drake was awesome!!! read more

Stopped in Savanah on our road trip back to NJ and we found this corner spot. We were able to order slices and eat on the street. There were sitting areas on the street and we can hear music from the bar. When we finally got our pizza it was literally right out of the oven. So hot almost burned our mouth, but as it cooled and the cheese settled it was delicious! I can't wait to visit again and spend more time to see SAV read more

We ordered for UberEats delivery from here on a recent trip to Savannah. We got the Wood Fired Jumbo Chicken Wings and the Sausage + Pepperoni Pizza with Mike's Hot Honey. The wings were a disappointment as the skin was not properly crisped, so they tasted a little fatty, but the flavor was good. The pizza was also pretty good. I love hot honey, but it's not for everyone if you're not into the sweet/savory thing (which my bf is not). This is a great option in the area if you're into good ingredients and this style of pizza. The portions were on the smaller side as we were able to finish everything no problem between the two of us. read more

Went to the Bull Street location. I didn't end up getting pizza as I wasn't really in the mood for it. I had a the Caprese salad with fresh mozzarella and baked Chèvre. Both were excellent! Highly recommend! read more

So I'll start off with I did not eat at the restaurant I had my food delivered through GrubHub. However, I would say my experience was pretty poor. I had the pepperoni pizza with added jalapeños. First off there were zero jalapeños and I mention that for two reasons. One the pizza had two toppings .. I shouldn't be missing one and two they cost extra so again I shouldn't be missing it. Pluspizza really was basic so it needed that little zing. The crust was great, not too thin or too thick, just a perfect crispy crust. Toppings were just lacking the sauce might as well not even been on the pizza because it had no flavor. What you could taste was the oil and herbs they splash on top. We also got the wings which are apparently supposed to come with Korean bbq sauce on the side, no where to be found with my order. Nonetheless, the wings were good. They unlike the pizza sauce were perfectly seasoned, well cooked, and delicious. Get the wings forgo the pizza. Update: The owners reached out and informed me that when ordered through the Yelp/GrubHub system it doesn't show the addition of the topping on their side. In addition, he updated the wings posting since it was a little unclear that you have to ask for sauce on the side and that cook the pecan wings in bbq sauce as well. read more

My Husband and Visit this restaurant on August 19, 2023, because some of our highly recommended it. Upon enter the restaurant we were not greeted. The waitress was like sit where you like. We huge fans of good customer service. She only came back once and that was for our bill. My husband tried to engage the cook and he was really rude! When you work hard for your money and spend it in a restaurant that has attitude, That's a problem for us! We will not go back or recommend it to our friends and family! If you try this place maybe you will have a better experience than we had. read more

The pizzas all come 12". Crust is nice thin style. Upscale drinks offered & local drafts. Service was excellent at the bar.

Loved this place! The pizza was so good and I tried one of the sliders and it was delicious too. It's a nice, quiet atmosphere with funny squirrel portraits on the wall. If I'm ever in Savannah again I'm definitely coming back! read more

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but the pizza was mediocre. The food came out quickly, but the crust was burnt. Our bacon pineapple pizza barely had any bacon, and the pineapples tasted more like canned mangoes. We had the house made root beer, which tasted good, it was made of pure cane sugar. read more

Service was great, pizza had no flavor though (4 stars for crust, 2 stars for sauce and 1 star for cheese). Should have known since starland was busy that night and no one was in there. Charged $2 for a tiny drizzle of hot honey... like c'mon. Hopefully new location on eastern wharf will be good. read more

It's a pleasure to have another opportunity to comment on Squirrel's Pizza. I have a previous post here about the wonderful lamb sliders they serve. I detest feeling pushed to write a bad review on any restaurant - particulary what I term as Mom & Pop Shops. It's a hard industry. With Squirrel's there is always praise from me. They are always on top with flavor, presentation and friendliness. Actually to the point of being unique. Overall, delivered food is always less than what it should be. I'm writing this during the corona virus situation. If you want restaurant food at this time, delivery is just about all you can get. Prepared food doesn't generally work well as a delivery item. It steams and sweats during delivery. It continues cooking during delivery. Cook it, plate it, get it to the table. It's very difficult to review a restaurant if you aren't there to get the dish right out of the kitchen. I believe that any restaurant review is spurious if based only on delivery. GO there! Pizza is a relatively safe option for food delivery but many things can still go wrong. My Spring Vegetable pizza from Squirrel's was excellent - appearance, flavor, crust texture. A rarety! I did have a very slight problem with crust charring but it may have been a matter of subjectivity. I generally can't afford brick oven or wood-fired pizza so have little knowledge there. The crust appeared to be lightly charred on the bottom and I assume that this is as it should be and I welcome that. This adds a flavor level I had never considered and I do appreciate it. However, despite small, even charring spots, the charring flavor was a bit much on my pizza. At least it seemed so with the Spring Vegetable pizza. A hearty meat topping would likely have balanced that. At any rate, please try Squirrel's Pizza. My bet is that it will become a "go to" place for you. Support Mom & Pop! read more

Fantastic new restaurant in the Starland District. Very chic, but casual. Opened a week ago. Pizzas are cooked over Georgia pecan wood. We enjoyed local beer, and shared a caprese salad and two 10" pizzas. The basil pesto also local, and the mozzarella is house made. Service was speedy! By 6:30 pm there was already a short wait. Squirrel's Pizza - Pizzas - Pizza Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

On my Instagram this pizza place kept popping up on my feed called squirrels pizza so I made it a point to drive 30 mins that's following weekend to try them out and I was so Disappointed I'm so many ways. I open the pizza and it was the size of a cheap frozen 2 dollar Pizza from Wal mart, the crust taste like cardboard and the cheese was so light you could not even taste it, the marinara taste like it was from a can, also got the wings called pecan fired with Korean buffalo sauce with taste nothing like pecan or Korean Bufflo sauce, taste like chicken wings thrown into the stove with some kinda cheap sauce you can't even taste. My bill was $52 dollars for a small pizza and two orders of 12 wings. This is the worse piazza hands down that I've ever had in my entire life. How could you own a place like this and be satisfied with your food. read more
