Pizza

This little pizza place has delicious pizza. The price is right, it's around $15.99 for a large cheesy New York style hot fresh pizza. There is a few seats outside and a cute little inside. The staff is so friendly and courteous. I truly recommend everyone to try the pizza here and you won't be disappointed.

Good Pizza is here! Thin style crust, fresh ingredients, and tasty sauce. Jose is the chef de cuisine and he is FANTASTIC!! Efficient, cheerful and attentive, he clearly understands how to make customers feel welcome. And he makes a damn good pie. A small diner style shop that is not licensed, but with a liquor store next door, stop in, pick up a pie and 6 pack on the way home, and make the whole family happy

Stopped in at the recommendation of a friend. Great NY style pizza. It's sold by the whole pie or by the slice. The crust was excellent. We also tried the cheesecake and it was delicious too. They are now open for dine in as well as pick up. My only complaint would be that it was uncomfortably warm inside. If it was just an ac issue today- I hope they get that fixed. Service was great and we will definitely be back.

Closest to NY pizza I have found in Savannah! Great pizza and reasonably priced for a local store.

The best pizza around. The owner is a great guy who supports public safety. Police, fire, and ems, this is the spot.

Fun place to eat with unique dishes. We started with PB&J wings. So good. Peanut butter sauce with…read morepecans. Peach jelly on the side. Such a great combo. The wings were cooked perfect. These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

Treylor Park was probably exactly what we needed at 11:30 at night…read more It's somewhere between a diner and a sports bar, but the decor is what makes it. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

This is a really delightful spot! Nice views of the city and river from the roof and pleasant…read moreindoors seating too. While I'd advise you to slip staying in the hotel where this restaurant sits, the restaurant itself (and the other one downstairs, fleeting) were bright spots in an otherwise lackluster hotel stay. We enjoyed breakfast here a few days. The service is fantastic (we saw Miranda a couple times and she made us feel like regulars, remembering our order and offering some sight seeing tips), all staff was friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is well done, with a Mediterranean influnce. We enjoyed the shakshuka (highly reco you add the kefta and ask for oven bread instead of the sourdough) and the Turkish eggs (also reco asking for the oven bread with this one), both dishes were flavorful and well executed (and we try shakshuka everywhere we see it!) We also had evening snacks one night and enjoyed the hummus with the mushroom add on and some of their signature drinks. Staff In the evening was also strong and didn't disappoint. If we ever find ourselves back in Sav we won't stay at the hotel Thompson but we will stop into Bar Julian!
