This was such a cute place I loved the Squirrel portraits hanging on the walls. Our sever was very attentive even though she was busy. The food came out in a timely manner and was very good the ingredients tasted very fresh. There were even options for gluten-free crust or to have vegan cheese. read more

They offered curb side delivery, which I really liked. I ordered a veggie pizza with out any cheese because I'm vegan. It was really good I would've just liked more vegetables on it but other than that it was delicious. read more

Pretty good, but unfortunately we were there the night their refrigerator broke and a lot of food had to be thrown out! Our server was very good and we still enjoyed the pizza - Benny Blanco. read more

I don't think anyone has a better crust than Squirrels pizza. I have eaten here on multiple occasions and always had a great experience. It's high class and low key all at the same time. read more

I hate pizza but this place made me love pizza! It's amazing. Fresh ingredients wonderful staff

I would like to give Squirrels Pizza NO stars because we got an EMPTY box with NO pizza!!!! Called the manager and he "couldn't do anything" to correct the problem. Completely unacceptable and pathetic excuse for customer support!!! read more

Really great pizza. We've tried other places but now I know where to go. Easy ordering, great service. I'm looking forward to trying other things from the menu! read more

Pizza was great, service was on top of it as well. Best wood fired pizza in town!!!!!

Had Squirrel's a while ago and was impressed with takeout, just came back and sat down and was even more impressed. The bar selection is killer but the wood fired menu will bring me back over and over, fresh and fast. Chase and the staff are killin it. read more

Pizzas was flat, with no crust. Hence a Flatbread. There was no levening or rise. It was soggy from middle to end. Also got the wings, which I agree with previous reviewers were lame and lackened both flavor and size. After reading alot if the one star reviews on here and seeing Chris D's responses I can only come the conclusion that he got to big for his britches. When you can't be on hand everyday to quality check it goes down. Wish I ate here when it first opened. read more

Squirrel's has a very inviting atmosphere with great selection on pizza and drinks. The staff are very helpful with selecting options. Since I have been going to the establishment about 3 years ago, I have always enjoyed the quality of service and products. read more

I am giving it 4 stars because the service is absolute trash but the food is so damn good it makes up for it.

The pizza is the very best in Savannah. Thin crust and delicious! I actually think it's the best pizza I've ever had in the United States of America. And I've traveled many places. But the very best thing they have is the lasagna. Do you have to order it in Vance and can only pick it up on Sundays. But it's well worth it. Most delicious! read more

We recently discovered this place and can't say enough good things about it. The craft drinks are great, the staff is SO nice and the food is fantastic. On top of that it's affordable with a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend! read more

Outstanding. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long while. We decided to stop in based on a recommendation from friends, and we were more than pleased that we did. They offer special / off menu items that change based on what ingredients they can source, so we figured that was the way to go. I love to support local and it appears Squirrel's shares the same sentiment. We had the Hot Pepper Caprese with locally grown peppers and hand made mozzarella. Let me tell you, wow! There was some type of lemon drop pepper in the dish that I'd never even heard of, but I'm so glad I know it now. From there we tried the steak and potato pizza. I thought the same same thing "potatoes on a pizza....what the..." It worked, and not just passable, it was one of the most creative things I've had. With mushrooms and fresh chives from local organic farmers, it really is one of the best pies I've tasted. I hope it isn't just a one off special bc it was too good not to have again. The order did take a little time, but nothing outrageous as they were pretty busy while we were there. The food wasn't the only impressive part of our meal. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Even the kitchen staff stopped to say thanks when we were leaving. The manager took the time to stop by to say hello and see how our meal was, something you don't always see these days. We didn't try any of their cocktails, only had a cpl beers, but the house cocktails looked really interesting. We'll have to try a few next time, and it will give us an excuse to check out their happy hour a little further as it runs almost all day during the week. Really cool interior. A little loud, but not uncomfortable. I think the entire building is concrete so the sound bounces a bit, but again not a deal breaker. Speaking of sound, whoever picks the music for the place has great taste. I can't think of the last time I really took note of how much great music added to an experience, but this place has some cool tunes. read more

Terrrrrrible service, great cocktails, great pizza. Despite the lack of service, we dined here twice during our trip Bc the pizza + cocktails were that good. read more

Ordered the Benny blanco and pepperoni with fresh mozzarella. Super disappointing. There was so little cheese it almost seemed like they forgot or were running out that evening. read more

This place is always AMAZING!! I obsessed with the baked chevre and the margarita pizza. So good. My go to pizza place in Savannah

Great local spot, killer pizza, fun vibes, nice staff. Close to downtown but juuust far enough away to miss the crazy crowds and hassle of finding a parking spot. read more

This place came highly recommended by the local bartenders and the reviews were great also, so thought we would try it out... Everything was 100% spot on! Sat outside with the dog and had some of the best pizza ever.. atmosphere was great, bar smells like fresh basil.. so good, music was chill and food was AMAZING! Highly recommend & will be back read more

Great pizza! Decided to have a night in and ordered through Uber eats. The pizza arrived hot and fresh and was a very good thin crust pizza. Not too greasy and good ingredients. read more

PIzzy is delish and I love the atmosphere. The lasagna was my daughters b day request every time. Love this place

Pizza was very good and unique. Thin crust and the toppings were very fresh. However, they are pretty small and pricy. So for 7 people we got 3 and could have used one more. They do not do delivery so carry out or dine is the only option. read more

Would go back because this is a cozy, cool bar/restaurant. Pizza just OK. Nice crust but overall, both pizzas we had were tasteless. Likely a no salt mozzarella cheese, little sauce, and tasteless sausage and other toppings. Great service and good spacing of seats. read more

Love the pizza and Madison makes really delicious beverages!!! Great service and the food is fantastic. Two thumbs up!!!

Best pizza we've had in Savannah area. Excellent, wood fired pizza made of high quality ingredients. We had the Margarita pizza and the sausage & pepperoni pizzas. Really delicious; sauce very tasty with thin, crispy crust. Excellent wait staff, very cordial and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere; comfortable and inviting. We'll be back. read more

Hands-down best pizza in Savannah. My husband and I choose squirrel's whenever we want pizza!! It's the best!!

Ill start with the positives...great sauce, high quality ingredients, interesting menu and the food tastes good. The negatives...I expected the pizza to be a normal sized one but it was a personal size. We got meatballs too as a 'shareable' but they were small and the garlic bread was burnt. So for $26 we thought it would feed a family but it was more like an appetizer. I should've done some more research I guess before ordering. ‍ read more

We recently moved down the street and Squirrel's quickly became our go-to pizza spot! Really yummy pizza and friendly staff. Think I'll go get some pizza now... read more

I ordered two Margaret pizzas and a caprese salad to-go. The pizza was absolutely delicious, especially since we took it to go and didn't eat it immediately when it came out of the oven. A lot of thin pizzas tend to get soggy if you wait but this one didn't at all! The caprese salad was okay, the tomatoes were delicious but the cheese was not very soft. I'd definitely grab a pizza here again and highly recommend it! read more

It's not the pizza I'm used to, but it was good. The decor was great. Cool vibe. Good bar selection. Friendly and courteous staff. Dining area and restroom were clean. read more

Was a good pizza. Needed a little more sauce and pepperoni. Would recommend but order extra.

Updated review Cool looking place " that yes we have been to & that my family did eat at" with that now said with the rise of celiac disease & gluten free life style. I was really hoping with the new place, it would offer a way gluten free folks a way to eat out side there home but sadly not. I will say it's a fun place to bring the family that can have gluten. So good for y'all. Again this place is a fantastic addition to the Starland district. read more

Happened upon this great spot while visiting from Charlotte and we loved it! We sat at the bar and loved the service from Shadi, she was attentive and personable! The pizza was excellent. We had the sausage and pepperoni. The flavors were clean and each, from the house made mozzarella to the well-sourced meats, to the basil pesto, and more, were incredibly flavorful. We are originally from NY and we are fairly discerning about pizza and we just loved it. We will be back! read more

Delicious pizza and the caprese salad was sooo good as well! I had the Italian sausage pizza and my husband had the five-o pizza that he gets every time. My friend had the Benny Blanco pizza and also loved it. Will definitely be back:) read more

I was really excited to stop here. Supposed to be this awesome pizza place. Pretty inside. Cool wall with the squirrels family tree. The pizza not so much. Maybe I'm just not a hipster super cool pizza guy. I got the Margeret pizza?. Very small, that's fine. But just lacked the flavor for which I was looking. bottom of crust was white. Cheese had no Brown spots anywhere. sauce had no zip. This was not good. For $14.00 for a small cheese pizza. I thought I was in Disney ?! Again maybe it's just me and I don't have the palate for gourmet, local, organic blah blah blah. Gimme' Vinnie's any day! Update! The Manager or owner did contact me about my original review on Google. And, did offer me to come back on their dime or $14.00. but, no thank you. Not good at all. read more

Great pizza...the cupping pepperoni is amazing and the sausage is super tasty. We order a meat and a veggie pizza. Veggies were fresh..I would come here again. read more

Had a fantastic experience. The cocktails were perfect, the pizza incredible. Had an appetizer that was fantastic as well. Most of all, the service was excellent! A new Savannah favorite. read more

I'm so happy that the Starland District has great spots like this. A lot bigger on the inside than I was expecting and they have more than pizza (insert amazing sliders). So if you're on more of a time crunch and can't wait for one of their amazing fire cooked pies go for those. They use superb ingredients, the lamb is one of our favorites. We've mostly ordered takeout, and it's great for a low key lunch spot. I need to go back for cocktails because the bar looks amazing. The interior decor is super cool. Thanks for coming to Savannah Squirrel!! read more

I love this place. Pizzas are terrific, varied and served in what seems like an instant. Craft cocktail list is also varied and interesting. Finally, since this is a restaurant review, this should not sway me one way or the other, but I love the music played over the PA! I could happily sit there all day (or night) drinking and listening read more
