I'm recording, he has a TV in the booth where I can see him literally mastering as I record. This is a rare gem of a studio. It's very private. Chase gives you his full attention and makes sure the environment is yours and only yours during your sessions. Very professional and courteous. It's very clean and put together. Idk... Legacy Studios swears they're #1. But not only does Chase Cotton have them beat in quality, he also has them beat in PRICE! His rates are CRAZY CHEAP for the quality he provides. I tell him often that he's under valuing himself and his business. He should charge more for his hourly. But, he's such a Humble and selfless person, he wants to make his space affordable for the everyday person, not just the celebrities that come by every so often. All I'm saying is,if you want that PERFECT radio quality sound with the sauce that Chase Cotton provides, a dope atmosphere and a professional environment, SHOP WITH DEEP ELLUM RECORDING STUDIOS! The "Better Bucker" pickups they designed and have for sale there are absolutely incredible, and they proved it to me by letting me sample instruments way out of my price range with and without their pickups. My next custom order will be through Killer Vintage and it will be equipped with Better Buckers! Their inventory is not exhaustive, If you want to see all the latest mass market models go to Guitar Center, but what they do have is really well curated.

Despite interrupting him, expecting to be redirected, he attentively listened as I explained my skill level and preferences. Instead of pushing a sale, he presented me with several options, explaining the nuances of each instrument, spending no less than 30 min on the ins and outs and helping describe what I was going for. He could have easily pushed a 3k guitar on me and told me this will have me playing like Stevie Ray Vaughan in days. Instead he was patient and and showed me what I was looking for, I asked him to pretend he was buying for his brother "the one he likes" and show me the way. I ended up with a beautiful guitar and an amp that will grow with me, all thanks to his guidance. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring I left with exactly what I wanted. Before checking out, the manager and other salespeople also made sure I had everything I needed, further enhancing my experience. What stood out most was the lack of pressure to buy. It was refreshing to be treated with such care and respect, especially in a retail environment. This fantastic experience, which began with Nathan, has made me a loyal Guitar Center customer.
