This used to be one of my favorite place in Katy and was always my go to when I was in limbo on where to eat. However, after my visit today I will never go back. They have become extremely cheap and quality of everything has plummeted. Specifically their Lotus Chips have shrunk to the size of a Penny from the size of a sand dollar, the size of their bowls have been reduced significantly, their protein servings have been cut in half (they still say you get the same amount of scoops, but the amount is almost 1/2), the help is rude and unaccommodating and prices are trending up. In summary, I ate here on average of 7 times per month but will no longer be back. I have also referred countless others that I will now take the recommendation back. They have similar options as other poke restaurants but they charged me the price for 2 protein even though I didn't get a protein because I don't eat meat or tofu. They were also going to charge me extra for avocado before I said "I'm already paying for protein I didn't get and now you're going to charge me for avocado?" This is the first spot I tried in Katy Chinatown. Clean, modern and bright. There was a good variety of protein and toppings. I usually stick with salmon and tuna with brown rice. They asked and they came back and said "yes it's low sodium soy sauce" WHAT!?! Gluten is not sodium. They them told me two other sauces and 100% positively GF. I tried them and then they said "wait- it's made with a soy paste" I asked if it was GF and they said they weren't sure and asked "do you have an allergy?" Are you kidding me?
