The sushi was so good here! Especially the sashimi! I went for lunch but because it was a Good Friday, they said it was a holiday so they are doing dinner all day. I like that we can order from the iPad and don't have to flag down the staff to order things. I ordered something and they said they can't make it because they don't have avocado. Which was a lie cause all the rest of our things came with avocado. I have no idea why they gave that excuse, cause it was a pretty bad excuse to make the dish that I ordered.

Lunch $19.99!!! CHECK OUT VIDEO Hard to beat this AYCE! What a rhyme! Now it's review time! idk why I'm single. Food: Ok- so everything is amazing. Literally everything tastes fresh. Zero complaints on food. I don't typically like fried rolls but they're "what the hell" roll was packed with flavor and spice. It was surely a pleasant surprise. Service: everyone is always so kind and quick. It's perfect Ambiance: Your typical small shopping center sushi spot. Not too bright, small sushi bar. Great service and smells fresh! Thank me later!

I can't believe this was my first time trying Taizzi Sushi! This place is beyond amazing! A neighbor highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional, and the food???!!! Absolutely flawless! I went with the AYCE lunch menu, and let me tell you - every single item was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Nothing and I do mean nothing, disappointed me. Every bite was SUPER packed with quality and taste, making this my top AYCE sushi spot! Trust me, that's a huge deal! A massive thank you to the Taizzi staff for an unforgettable dining experience. I'll definitely be back very soon!

This place is good, I did the all you can eat and the customer service is pretty good and I ate the California roll and the ell roll and it is pretty decent and fresh. Then I ordered the spicy ramen it is fresh and really flavorful. I recommend coming here if you're in Houston Tx.

We're regualrs here at Taizzi. They have the best sushi here in Katy in my opinion. Their salmon is very fresh and thickly sliced. The sushi selection is very tasty and their service is great! Susam has always been very pleasant and Nene, he's very friendly and warm! Their ambiance needs a bit of an update but their food surpasses it.

Great sushi spot. Came here for lunch with my sister. I love that they give out 4 piece half rolls. At most AYCE places you get the full 8 piece rolls, but then can't try as much. The 4 pieces were a great touch. Plus they have a ton of great appetizers and other dishes. The service is great, but also like that you can order straight from the tablet at the table. This is a must try if you're in the Katy area and live sushi! Small intimate little place with great offerings.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant wasn't yet busy when we got there but started to fill up as we ate. There are so many different ramen options and toppings to choose from. You can choose to get the low sodium option for all the ramen if you prefer, and they also have free unsalted ramen broth refill. They also have other dishes besides ramen, and you can also customize any existing dishes with other toppings as you'd like. I got the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen with spinach and corn, and my boyfriend got the Spicy Ramen. Both broths were so rich and flavorful. They were both slightly salty, so we also got the clear broth refill which made them just right. The ramen had a perfect chew, and the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I usually don't like bamboo toppings in ramen because of the ammonia smell, but I tried some bamboo from the Spicy Ramen that my boyfriend got, and it had no strong bamboo smells at all. I was so impressed. I also ordered the Japanese curry with chicken kaarage to-go, and they were also really tasty. I will definitely be back to Kizuki for more in the future.

I was so hungry I forgot to get a photo of the initial presentation, but the noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. Other than that, it was pretty lackluster: the soft-boiled egg was hard and one of the grossest eggs I've had, and the chashu was cold. We also ordered some chicken karaage, but that never showed, and our waiter was too busy to stop by so I could tell him. I'm not familiar with the ramen scene in Houston, but Kizuki was a huge letdown, especially with their roots to Japan. ご馳走様でした

The selection is a bit more limited for lunch, but the price is lower than dinner as well. Being AYCE, I wouldn't expect the highest quality, type, and cut of fish, but what they had was pretty solid, tasted fresh, and was delicious. A minor complaint would be they had no sashimi option, even for the tamago which I personally believe is eaten best without rice, but that's just minor stuff considering the good value here. As much as I try to find a reason not to give this place an outstanding rating, if I compare it to the AYCE category of restaurants, it did everything right. They do have a regular a la carte menu, with a selection that looks like a treat in itself. As for me, I highly enjoyed their jalapeno bomb to start. I highly doubt they used snow crab, tasted like imitation crab, but I enjoyed it nevertheless and got another order at the end. I tried a few nigiri while I was here, with eel being my favorite (and thank goodness for no bones, which was lucky because it's eel). Their tacos were an unexpected standout and is worth a bite or two. Using sheets of nori and frying it to it holds up like a shell is pretty genius and more places need to do this. I had a good time with their Burning Alaska signature maki, which has salmon as the main star. The smokiness from torching was a killer! Their curry reminded me of S&B, which might very well be the mix they used. I was a bit disappointed to not see fish katsu as an option considered it's a sushi place, but I can see the katsu curry selection being a good option as a comfort dish. I wish I had the stomach space to try out new stuff, but maybe next time. Wish someone would post a photo of the salmon skin salad, because I'm a bit curious about that!

It would be worth trying if we were hungry and had a huge appetite. Hubby and I shared the tempura udon, the hamachi collar bento box, and he got some sashimi while I got the tamago and blue crab nigiri. The portions were big and generous and also reasonably priced. I like the udon a lot even though the broth was a bit sweet for me. The tempura was delicious and perfectly fried. The hamachi collar was a large portion but a bit dry. We're used to having hamachi collar that is more buttery than what we had at twenty five. The sushi was ok too. Wasn't the best we've had but we expected that so we weren't let down by the sushi. Overall the staff was very nice and attentive despite being busy. The restaurant was clean as well. I do enjoy the large parking lot they share with surrounding businesses.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were happy to offer recommendations throughout the meal. Great service can elevate a dining experience, and this team absolutely delivered. Now for the sushi, and wow! You can tell there's real craftsmanship behind every roll that comes out of the kitchen. Each roll was beautifully presented, packed with fresh ingredients, and thoughtfully balanced in flavor. Too often sushi restaurants focus on appearance or oversized specialty rolls, but here the flavors were just as impressive as the presentation. Every bite felt intentional, with textures and ingredients working together perfectly. One unexpected highlight of the evening was trying rice beer for the first time. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of my favorite discoveries of the night. It was crisp, refreshing, and paired exceptionally well with the sushi. I can definitely see why it's so popular, and it won't be my last time ordering it. Between the elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, expertly crafted sushi, and discovering a new favorite beverage, this was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Restaurants like this remind you that dining out isn't just about the food, it's about the entire experience. I'll absolutely be back, and next time I'll probably spend just as much time deciding which roll to order as I do admiring the presentation when it arrives.

I will tell you, however, that by the end of the meal, I was not just surprised by how absolutely wonderful this restaurant was, but I was highly impressed by how wonderful the sushi was how absolutely on point the service was and frankly as you walk in, you will be impressed by the ambience. Let's just talk about the sushi for a minute. The portions are extremely generous and all of it is wonderfully fresh and a great pleasure. I believe I had more than half of the sushi menu on an " all you can eat" Offer, which is, given the quality of sushi, the best deal that I have had in the city of Houston. The waitress was absolutely wonderful, extremely service oriented, and just a pleasure to deal with making recommendations and giving insights since she is a sushi eater herself. I would not recommend the old-fashion bourbon as I suspect everything is done by specific formula and I varied their formula. Next time I go, I will follow their formula and see whether it's a different result. But what a pleasant service experience. The ambience is lovely. it's very large and because I suspect it is relatively knew it was by no means fall although frankly, we went at an odd hour about 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon and so that might explain the lack of patrons. I will say, however, it is so large that there may have been as many as 50 people there but because it is so large, it is difficult to gauge based on much more restricted spaces that I have been in while eating sushi. This is truly not a place to be missed. There is not any exotic sushi, but anything that is on the menu is really quite good, the service is absolutely wonderful and the cost is incredibly good. I would highly recommend it.

The staff/service side was…read moreactually really good -- our waiter was attentive, polite, and genuinely apologetic throughout the night, so I do want to give credit where it's due because he handled everything professionally. That said, there were a few frustrating things. First, they advertise themselves as a hibachi place, but they really don't have the sauces or flavor options you'd normally expect from a true hibachi restaurant for the rice, noodles, or chicken. It felt more limited than expected. Another issue was the bar selection. I tried ordering a Belvedere martini, and they didn't have Belvedere or really any top-shelf vodka/liquor options available. The highest-end vodka they had was Absolut. Normally that might not matter to some people, but I personally get really bad hangovers from lower-quality liquor, so I specifically try to order cleaner/top-shelf brands when I go out. Lastly, if you're coming with a large party (we had over 10 people), be prepared for delays with payment. They weren't able to split checks quickly, and it ended up taking around 30 minutes to sort everything out while we were already in a time crunch. Overall, the service staff did their best and were kind, but management/operations and menu offerings definitely need improvement.
