New poke spot in Katy! Not an assembly line like most of the poke spots I've been to. You tell them what you want from the menu and they fix it. Good portions and fresh, savory taste. I was the only one dining at the time. Service was nice and patient. Very clean restaurant as well.

Top volcano bowel and crunch bowel.

I observed this place and had to try it. The pictures outside the restaurant looked delicious. The place inside was new, and restrooms were nice and clean. The gentleman making me my sushi bowls was nice and friendly. I ordered two bowels one volcano and the other crunchy. The marinated tuna was off the hook. What I loved was he put plenty amounts of tuna and salmon in the bowls. Beware the fresh jalapeños are hot. Anyways the food was delicious . I got a medium bowl and it contained plenty of food. I will definitely come back and eat some more amazing food!

$14 for a hefty bowl of poke is such a steal! This spot is a little different than other poke spots because you order everything at the counter rather than selecting everything on a conveyor belt style of ordering, so I was a bit skeptical at first not being able to see how they were going to portion things. However, to my surprise, my "big" bowl was packed to the brim. It came with two proteins, so I chose marinated tuna and naked salmon and spicy aioli and samurai as the sauces. I think it was too saucy for me, and I usually like my poke saucy, so I'd probably just stick to one sauce next time.

Delicious poke! Amazing service. The cashier explained the menu to me, showed me the bowl sizes, and offer to let me sample the sauces. I wasn't very hungry so I got the little build your own which came with one protein. I got marinated ahi tuna and added crab salad. All the veggies were very fresh and it was a very good sized serving! I would definitely come back!

Food was cold and yummy! Not as many options as other poke places, but has all of the essentials. I suggest getting naked instead of marinated bc I thought the marinated made it a little too salty. Service was good too!

Amazing & fresh poke! The customer service was awesome. It was my first time eating poke so I wasn't sure what to do or get. I was the only one in there which helped because I get overwhelmed when trying new places. The menu was simple and was explained by the person working. She allowed me to sample sauces and gave great recommendations. I love that they have a little size for people like me trying something out for the first time! Savory, clean, fresh, great service, reasonably priced.

Service was amazing! Staff was nice and very fast. All the ingredients tasted fresh and cold which is exactly what I want in poke! I wasn't sure what sauce to get and the guy recommended me two sauces that taste so well on my bowl. Although I didn't eat there it was a cute lil spot to eat and very clean

My wife and I love pokes and while we were visiting the Katy area, we decided to give this place a go, aloha poke place. Absolutely loved it. Although it isn't our favorite, but it is definitely in top 3 best poke place in Houston. We made a custom poke. Their veggies, and salmon were very fresh. The servers were super nice and friendly and helped us navigate through the menus as we had alot of questions about it. We went there kind of late about 1hr before closing, but there were still alot of folks inside. The place was very clean and surprisingly spacious. Give this place a try!

Lot of variety and flavors for poke bowl, this place is great for the price and the workers are welcoming and nice to all.

Well this is my go-to brunch spot to bring all my out-of-towners. I can't believe I don't still…read morehave a review posted in the system! Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

I'm proud that they have servers of this caliber at Asian restaurants in Houston, TX. Usually you see professional servers at upscale restaurants. There was a busboy there towards the end, and even he was super professional. Whoever the manager is at this location, you guys are doing an outstanding job training the staff here. Keep up the good work! 2. Price - about $15/bowl. 3. Ambiance - The decor here is beautiful. There are natural lighting from the front, with wood panels everywhere, lanterns hung high. They did a nice job decorating the place and you definitely feel as if you're in Japan somewhere. 4. Food - This is where this place shines compare to all the ramen places in Houston. They have the option of low sodium broth. I took one sip, and it felt like home cooked Ramen. I'm not talking about instant ramen that you buy from the store, but the ramen made from scratch. I often go to ramen places in Houston and I dread going because I know how salty they taste. There are 2 other locations I have in mind in Houston that are also my favorites. But I would say this is not bad compared to the bowl of ramen I had in Narita, Japan. If you're wondering what I've ordered, it was the CHICKEN RICH RAMEN and make sure to request for low sodium. 5. Cleanliness - Dining area is well kept, clean, and the busboy is on top of things. The restroom is questionable. The personal restroom doors are hard to close and lock. For management, have a look at the restrooms and see if you can improve things. SUMMARY: I would definitely come back. It is just THAT GOOD!

I was so hungry I forgot to get a photo of the initial presentation, but the noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. Other than that, it was pretty lackluster: the soft-boiled egg was hard and one of the grossest eggs I've had, and the chashu was cold. We also ordered some chicken karaage, but that never showed, and our waiter was too busy to stop by so I could tell him. I'm not familiar with the ramen scene in Houston, but Kizuki was a huge letdown, especially with their roots to Japan. ご馳走様でした

To address the 4 star, part of the knock on the star comes from little things throughout the night. First, we waited quite a bit to be served. To no fault of our waitress it looked like she had been pulled to handle other things. The hostess ended up taking our order for sandy and then she took it from there. Also, another waitress Jada stepped in as well to help and made sure we were good. This was very nice of them. Again, our waitress was not a problem, but logistically if she had tables you could see her physically having to handle other things so its not like she just went missing. The restaurant has a great vibe. There was a pianist playing and the lights were intimately low. The chef also came over and introduced himself which is pretty cool. On to the food: The oyster Rockefeller first course was delicious. Creamy, spinach, oyster with a bit of a zing from the sauce Next we had the heritage tasting plate and the oxtail tacos. The oxtail tacos had a bit too much lettuce for my liking but my fiancee enjoyed it. Savory, hers didnt have as much lettuce as mine, so if youre not a lettuce fan you could he rolling the dice here. The heritage tasting plate was good. Camel, kangaroo, and rabbit. I loved the kangaroo a ton. Who knew? The camel was very good too it had a ground turkey type if texture. The kangaroo tasted like stewed beef roast. Very good. Finally, the rabbit, as I've had this before, was good rabbit. Its like a chicken ish flavor to it. For the next course we had the lamb chops and suya ribeye. The lamb chops were flavorful and the green beans on both dishes were good and tender. The suya ribeye had good suya flavor. We barely touched the mashed potatoes and jollof because we were so full. The bite of jollof that I did have was traditional flavored jollof. Pretty good. We got the peri peri shrimp with the lamb chops and they were ok, but not anything to write home about. We were expecting that peri peri burst of flavor like the lamb chops had. To finish off the meal we both got the creme brulee. Id say this missed a bit. The brulee didnt have your traditional hard top of bruleed sugar. The sugary portion tasted a bit burnt. Not the traditional brulee burnt but a stronger burnt sugar flavor. All in all a great experience and we would go back and do this again.
