Let's just start off by saying amazing! These guys over at Squar-Pix perform at such a high level that I never thought was even existed in New York City. The printing speeds, the quality, and the customer service they offer is just simply on point. I ordered two banners and surprisingly they were ready within one business day. The picture itself wasn't highly pixelated, when I first sent in the picture to them. When I came to pick it up what I ordered Mike told me "hey I enhance your photo on Photoshop. Felt like it could use a little work" Just a little note on the side when he told me that I had the biggest smile my face. Squar-pix completed my company's T-Shirt order with a two day turnaround. They called and kept in close contact with me throughout the process, including many changes from my company's end. This has been one of the greatest printing and customer service experiences I have ever had! Mike and everyone else are nice, courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable about printing. We contacted them less than a week in advance of an extremely important, yet very last minute event for which we required 3,000 business cards, over 1,000 cardstock brochures, hundreds of stickers, over 1,000 A4 pages... They gave us an incredible deal, and went out of their way to make sure everything was finished in time for our event, despite having a lot of other work to do. Almost everything came out perfect, which was incredible given that some of the material we sent them was designed without proper knowledge of creating bleeds, yet they were still able to cut everything to the proper size, with almost no border. We also were not the best at explaining how we wanted everything done, since we were not knowledgable of all the options. Mike explained everything very clearly, and made sure that we were on the same page before going ahead with anything. Mike is very easy to talk to on the phone, and very nice in person. He is responsive to emails, and if he is not at the store when you call, he will give you a call back the moment he gets there! We would definitely work with Squar-pix again, and probably will be doing so next time we need business cards. Oh, and take advantage of their fantastic deal on business cards right now. Would not even give one star. Frank a person who deals directly to costumers, He's extremely money hungry. His rate was higher than any other companies I've called. He supposed to get a print done on a tshirt, which I needed for the same day. when i called they told me i could come in without mentioning extra fees, when I got there Frank told me there was a extra 25$ fee for the rush order. He's very unpleasant person that makes costumers feel uncomfortable talking about extra fees all the time. read more

They may be good printers on paper...but avoid avoid avoid for larger runs of printed photo mugs! First off my husband got a quote over the phone that was not honored when we showed up in person two days later. After renegotiating a higher price for a run of 35 mugs we were told we had to place the order within 24 hours to keep that new cost per unit. In a panic we created the design for the next day and sprung for the extra $15 to get a single proof mug. Looks good. But we decide to add a little text to the design..literally two words. Boom we are hit with a $20 change fee. (Yes, we did the work to add the text and provided the new file and still got this charge!?!) We pay that and get two additional proof mugs made at $15 each...just to be sure we understand the quality of the printing and to refine the design placement. Yes, we are told over and over, image consistency is not possible. + or - 10% brightness/darkness. Got it. Understood. Fast forward to receiving the final 35 mugs 4 days later. And the photo images on them look terrible. Forget the 10% + or - brightness...these were more like 25% lighter than our lightest proof. Worse yet these all looked exactly the same to each other (so much for no consistency, huh?). The photo images were very faded and looked nothing like the proof mugs we spent a fortune on. I had also left these proof mugs with notes on them with the printer as a reference point for our idea of image brightness and quality and text clarity. The text was OK but the images were all way, way off and slightly more blurry too. In the end, if it had been up to me, I would not have given these to my guests. My husband found them acceptable enough to hand out...especially when faced with the option to destroy and trash this much money and materials. If you are spending a good deal of effort to make a special keepsake like these mugs.....please do yourself a favor and go someplace else. read more

Needed a product delivered within an urgent time frame, and was willing to pay whatever I needed to. Communication was too slow didn't feel prioritized as a customer. Ended up going with a more expensive place to print (with higher quality, faster turnaround, nicer people, and no "this is why we can't do this" attitude), and recommending my friends there instead. Seemed promising, but ultimately was a disappointment and a waste of time. I was ready to spend a lot of money here and used my business cards as a testing ground, hopeful for a local presence I could trust... but it simply didn't work out. I came to them to get retractable banners done and they turned out 100 times better than I had expected. I then had them do some stickers, flyers and t-shirts for me to take to SXSW 2017 and everything looks amazing. The cherry on top of everything is that their prices are worth every single dime. Needed a vinyl banner printed in a timely manner and not only was it done over the weekend and ready by Monday morning, but quality was great and price was sooooo under other quotes it blew my mind. So thankful I found this place and will definitely be coming back! I'm a recent architecture graduate and JUST moved to Brooklyn. I had an interview the morning after moving with NO TIME to print and bind my portfolio. I called this place and told them my situation and they said they could have it done for me by the same night. I went in with my flash drive, picked out the paper I wanted, even did a couple test print pages of some images I was worried about. I had limited time to print out some custom stickers and happened to come across squar-pix through Yelp. Frank was very effective in communication and got back to me almost immediately with a quote and an estimated production time. I placed an order for 100 3" x 3" vinyl circle stickers for an event that occurred the upcoming Sunday. I sent them the file on Thursday and was able to pick up the finished stickers on the same day! In terms of production time and quality of service, I would without a doubt recommend squar-pix. The one fault I would say is that although I was for the most part satisfied with the sticker quality, my client noted that the circles was quite noticeably off center which is really unfortunate. (the design had an inline stroke that needed to be perfectly aligned to the exterior) read more
