Suffice to say, nothing arrived in time and I would have been embarrassed at a conference with nothing to hand out. Thankfully, after being recommended these guys by a friend, they were able to print everything i needed as quickly as humanly possible. when I say quick, I mean quick. I called them panicked at roughly 9:30am and they were ready for pick up the same day at 2:30. And the quality was very high too. I was trying to print a comp card but mr. Rich didn't understand what I want. In the first proof he cropped my feet on the picture! It's impossible! Then he missed the sign ":" and didn't want to admit it after my 5 times reminding! Then I was asking certain order of pictures and he didn't follow it! When I tried to call to explain he said that I should come at 9am to the office. I can't do this because I work. And he hung up! Unbelievable! That's how people solve problems? I just walked out of this establishment. About two weeks ago I asked for a quote and I decided to come into shop for clarification especially on the type of tshirt and on the logo. I recently was needing some large head prints for a party my boss was throwing. I basically needed them overnight and could not find any place that was capable/willing to do it. Can not sing enough praises for this company and Chris. Called at 6:30pm on a Friday night to have 7 different foam core signs done for a booth a javits for a show starting at 9am on Saturday. Just left this establishment, they will not be getting my business! I called on Friday, explained that I was looking for a handful of tshirts and why and that I had never done this before. I asked how should I proceed with design/order. The gentleman on the phone told me to come into the store and they had sales folks who could walk me through the process and told me specific times to come. So I clear an hour at work and walk over to the shop. They could not be less interested in helping. Wouldn't talk to me, just said to email them. Didn't want to hear that I called first and was directed to do it this way... the guy clearly didn't want to be bothered with me. I was told to leave the premises when I asked for some small samples of their colored vinyl, to match to various logo colors. This is after I had submitted art by email and been told by email that the firm "does not have exact color matches", and made a next day early morning trip to the store to discuss the color output with the salesman. If he had have explained that the company has factory-made colored vinyl, and does not inkjet print onto white vinyl, I would have brought PANTONE color information with me on my early morning visit. But as I had not been informed, I simply asked for a few small slivers of the colored vinyl so that we could match back in the office. Why was I told to leave the premises by the salesman? Because, he yelled at me, I was being "huffy". This was after he allowed me to witness him haranguing a co-worker over a quotation issue. Anyway, I'm not one to waste time on lost causes, so I told the gentleman I'll see him on Yelp and turned to leave. As I was walking out his door he yelled after me that I was the one who was huffy and I should get the hell out of there. So, not a great experience at Graphic Lab, but I'm sure the quality of their output is good. They really have to work on calming their bully sales guy down though. He's a liability. read more

Awful experience at Graphic Lab. Out of the two men I worked with at this store, they were both incredibly rude. Customer service alone should get them 0 stars. To get 2 shirts embroidered would cost $160, not including the price of the shirts and would take a month. He then proceeded to tell me that using my own shirts means that they're NOT AT ALL reliable for something happening to it. I understand they don't want to be responsible if it doesn't come out just right but being a salesperson myself, it's not one of the first things I'd harp on to a customer. Instead I went to Jonathan's Embroidery down the street and it was only $65 and is going to be completed by the end of next week. They also showed me exactly what it was going to look like and we were able to work from there. Not sure why people would offer such horrible customer service in New York City when one of your competitors is only a few blocks away. read more

Graphic Lab saved my ass! My boss expects things done and does not want excuses even when its almost impossible to do. I needed to get some T shirts printed for a VIP person asap all on a Friday. I only found out about what was to be printed at 7.30pm last Thursday and needed them Friday EOD. This isn't just about getting some print on t shirts, it needed to look professional and not cheap. My boss selected to print jpegs off google images. I am not a technical person and did not even forsee any tech issues with doing this. I desperately turned to graphic lab which seemed to have great reviews for printing as we didn't want any iron on cheap looking stuff. I did originally almost go with another place but they were not clear about their process and when I found out at 7.30pm they do iron on's I was stranded. I called Graphic lab and was given rich's email by the after hours guy. (I did read about these reviews about Rich but in my desperation did not remember when I got Rich's email, probably would not have made a difference as I needed help) I emailed Rich straight away and explained what I needed and if I could have them by friday eod, Rich patiently emailed me till 9pm that night and explained what i needed to do. The following morning I sent Rich the email and called him and he told me that the Jpeg images are poor quality and cannot be blown up which I had not thought about. My boyfriend who was witnessing my panic in the morning, told me I had to vector the images, just as I was googling how to do that Rich emailed me back and told me that he had already vectorised one image and would do the other also if I wanted. THANK GOD FOR RICH!! Because I don't have any application that could do that. Rich had told me he needed everything by 9am to have it completed by EOD. It was now 10am and my boss just wanted this stuff done as he had promised said VIP person that he would have these t shirts day before. I then asked Rich about what t shirts they had as online they have a huge array of brands and in store not so much. When I realised they wouldn't work I asked if he would allow me to go buys some and bring to him. He said Yes, no ifs or buts. By the time I got to him it was 1pm (well after 9am) I explained how I wanted them, and he had already made a perfect size of the image. The image looked amazing! We spoke briefly about it and he said I could pick up after 5pm. All I could do was hope this guy was amazing and that these t shirts would blow our minds. I picked up at 5pm and took them to my boss. He was so blown away by how professional they looked. Our VIP guy wore it on his TV appearance the next night, both t shirts. Rich you saved me, you have no idea how happy my boss was. You also have a customer for life. I was shocked to see people have apparently had a bad experience. Not sure why, as you gave me advice told me what I needed, answered my emails after hours, created amazing t shirts and mostly you were patient. I don't know what else to say. I wanted to know price breaks for various volume of T-shirt production. He said that there is no way I'm doing more than 144 so he's not even going to bother giving me the estimate. I'm running in the New York marathon for the first time this year and I had it all down: I knew how to train, how to hydrate*, how to start off slow and everything you could know about negative splits. You know what I didn't know? How to get my name on the front of my shirt. Oh, I could have drawn it on there, sure, but that would have been lopsided and incongruous, and I wanted it to be deep and bold and easily readable so people could shout my name for over four hours. So when I wanted a professional one-off testament to my narcissism on the front of a tech-tshirt without ruining the wicking qualities, I went to GraphicLab** who not only did a wonderful job on the shirt, but turned it around quickly and kept in constant contact to let me know when it would be done. It's a little expensive for just one shirt, but I can now wear this for all my races so it's a good investment. I don't know why this place has mixed reviews because they were pretty awesome. A graphic designer friend recommend that I contact this service bureau to get my promotional flyers printed out for my small business. It's easy dealing with Graphic Lab and their customer service, from my own personal experience, was friendly and helpful. I uploaded the files I needed to get printed and within a few hours, I was contacted by Carmine and he was very helpful offering suggestions for my print job. I came in the next day to go over my job and Carmine offered suggestions about paper and other options I was unaware of. Carmine even gave me a paper sample to take home with me to make sure its what I needed. The office space is bright, organized and clean. They have examples of some of their jobs on the wall and the place looks very professional. I didn't experience any bat shit craziness like at FedEx or Staples. It was a small job and Carmine did not treat me any different from some of their bigger clients and turned the job around very quickly. I was very happy with the flyers and they look professional and polished. I'll definitely be back for future print jobs and will recommend Graphic Lab to all my friends. read more

The staff is so friendly and helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. The printing quality is impeccable, honestly this is the most professional you can get. I contacted Graphic Lab on Tuesday at 1am for an estimate, because I desperately needed to print 2 large posters for a research conference THE NEXT DAY. I had originally checked a number of printing places, but none would print posters this large (48x56) and especially not for the same day. So when I finally came across Graphic Lab in a late-night google search, I used the online system to get a quote. Carmine replied to me at 7:30am with a price! And then the poor man so kindly put up with my incessant emails as I tried to figure out the best size/price for the posters I needed. He was so attentive and readily answered all my questions. Six quotes and multiple questions (re: pick-up, payment, etc) later, I finally emailed him my posters, requesting that he contact me when they were ready. He emailed me back in 2.5 hours!!! Amazing!!! Sadly, one of my co-workers picked up our poster so I didn't get to meet him, but what a gem! He saved our butts by getting those posters ready just in time!
