I was looking for a place to print a photo and didn't want to go to those chain/conglomerates like UPS, Staples, blah blah blah. Found this spot on Yelp and was so happy with the place. It's a gorgeous space - modern and sleek with a kitchen even. Feels welcoming. Delroy helped me the moment I walked in, showing me how the photo would look in various sizes, on different kinds of paper. The photo looks gorgeous and I can't wait to give it as a gift. I was walking my dog Gerbert so only had my credit card and keys on me, and Delroy actually waived the dollar temporarily (too low for a credit card purchase) and said to come back and give it next time. That kind of trust and kindness is rarely found anywhere but an independent business. I'll be back - and with my $1 and more photos to print! 5 stars!!!!!! read more

This is my favorite spot to print all my company material. Always fast service - and also delivery. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

The Copy Specialist is my go to for ANYTHING print related, and they are incredible especially for wedding stationary--which is highly overpriced in NYC. I did my save the dates and all stationary here and they quoted me a fantastic price and it turned out beautiful. Go with Analiese, you won't regret it. read more

The Copy Specialist - Printing Services Near Me - New York, New York

The service is unbelievably poor. The staff repeatedly hung up the phone. What is the point of having a phone number if you're not going to respond to inquiries especially for a semi-major print job. read more

Pretty high-prices for color copies. 55 cents a color copy. For 210 copies of a 2-page color document (420 total), it costs $231. No discounts? Do bulk ordering savings? My old copy place in Berkeley (I know this is Manhattan so it's different--whatever) charged me 25 cents a copy--less than half of this price. Sigh, NYC really is expensive. I guess you pay for location and speed. read more

I'm a graphic designer based out of the Flatiron neighborhood in Manhattan. I had to get a few large format presentation books produced for a client meeting and the Copy Specialists not only produced exactly what I needed (11x17 books / full bleed / double sided / trimmed and artfully bound) but they did it within 2 hours of my request! High-quality product, easy to work with staff (thanks Delroy) and a professional shop. As a designer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

The Copy Specialist is wonderful - we've used them for a few projects and won't be going anywhere else. Bryan is so helpful and detail-oriented, and the turn-around time is quick. The product comes out flawless! Thank you!! read more

The new shop is beautiful, and Bryan was super accommodating with making hard proofs and revisions even though my order was rather small. Will be back. read more

I must say I feel bad leaving a negative review, but I must share my experience. My better half and I were looking to print out some wedding invitations. My fiancée emailed Bryan and explained to him in detail about the printing material (the various paper sizes for each invite and paper type - which requires a print shoppe service). Bryan then replied with a quote which seemed rather reasonable for NYC, considering we were to provide the paper material. When we walked into the shoppe, we were first greeted nicely. When my fiancée started describing their email correspondence and produced the cards out of the bag, Bryan responded saying they DO NOT PRINT ON THE PAPER SIZES HE EARLIER CONFIRMED ON EMAIL. At that point we were confused, since we made our way downtown from the upper west side especially because of Bryan's indication the shoppe DOES provide the service we asked for. To make matters worse, Bryan accused us of being incompetent, at which point we were livid, rather than attempt to solve the problem, which I guess is the reason for this negative review. If Bryan had tried to rectify his mistake caused by miscommunication we would have been grateful. Rolling the ball back to us when we have an email correspondence indicating otherwise is hardly a New York City service. Stay away from these guys, awful service. read more

I've used The Copy Specialist several times for work related projects that are client facing. The turn around time has been exceptional and they are quick to respond via email. Just today I emailed a PDF at 10AM and needed 8 copies made by Noon. In less than an hour they emailed me back and had the copies ready. The quality of the product looks great too. Quality product + great customer service is a win in my book. read more

I came to The Copy Specialist after reading many positive reviews at Yelp and was glad that I found this place! It's conveniently located right by Union Sq. They printed out some brochures and posters for my business and the material needed to be a high quality since they are for clients. What I like about this place is that they will test run for one copy and we have a chance to provide them a feedback -- sometimes, it came out too dark or light. They will adjust to your preference. I especially am thankful for one of their staff, Delroy. I was trying to find the right size and paper medium for my posters, he was very helpful and made an extra effort to get it done right and the quality of final product was really great. I won't go to FedEx ever again for they take so much time and charge so much more. read more

These guys just saved me in a pinch! I needed a last minute order of glossy-cardstock placards for a major event happening the next day. These guys came through in half the time and a fraction of the cost compared to any of the competition. That would've been enough to sell me, but their customer service is top notch. Ask for Tony, he's the man! read more

Tony M from The Copy Specialist did such an amazing job its almost beyond belief! His work was stellar on a request that was really bespoke and complex. He kept me updated along the way and let me know what the progress of my request was. Asking someone to turn a really old pdf into a beautiful book is no easy task and Tony M made it seem like it was nothing. Honestly, such tremendous work, turned around super quickly and highly affordable! Cannot say enough amazing things about the flexibility of doing Copy/Print jobs with The Copy Specialist if all the work is handled the same way Tony handled mine. Thank you so much again! read more

Dishonest and a ripoff. Gave me a quote over the phone but charged me 35% more when I picked up. I recommend taking your business elsewhere

You guys. I don't always leave feedback but when I get service this good, I feel compelled to let the world know. This place rocks. Their prices rock. Their speed rocks. Their quality rocks. And they're just buttoned up and understand what is needed. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Friendly and helpful staff. Fast turnaround time. I came in to print some last-minute resumes and business cards. I gave them the job at 10:30am - 50 resumes and 100 business cards. They were able to complete the job within a few hours. I docked one star because the cutting was less than perfect for half of my business cards. Otherwise, great place to get the job done. read more

My fiancé and I had custom artwork created for our wedding invitations. The Copy Specialist did an amazing job printing them. Delroy was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond, always friendly, made a lot of great suggestions to improve our layout, printed out test copies we could compare, and was very patient as I weighed out all of our options. I will definitely be coming here for any additional wedding related printing we may need done. Thank you, Delroy for all of your help! read more

I won't go to another copy shop in NYC, Delroy and his crew are about as customer focused as they come. I called in at 4pm needing 500 copies of something and walked out at 7pm with my booklets. These guys rock. read more

Friendly and efficient. So much easier and cheaper than going to FedEx down the street.

Hard-working, detail-oriented, professional. I didn't have the slightest anxiety they'd screw it up. They did a fabulous job recreating my old yearbook. read more

Came here a few months ago for my menus, place cards, and programs for my wedding. I had already designed them and needed them printed. Delroy was super helpful and personable. I had a mistake on one of my files and he re-printed with no extra charge. I have no other price comparisons as this was my first time getting a project of this size printed somewhere, but the quality was great and everything came out amazing so I'd say it was worth it. Would definitely come back in the future. read more

Awesome customer service on the phone and in person. Fast, easy process and great pricing. Two thumbs up!

Excellent customer service! I emailed them with files for brochures I needed printed. There was a mixup where I didn't get a proof/price estimate/etc before printing. When I got an email saying they were ready a week later, I told them I didn't need them anymore. (Since I never heard from them I got them done via VistaPrint). They then said it was on the house and I could come get them for free! Bryan also introduced himself in person, shook my hand, and apologized for the mistake. I'll definitely be going here next time. read more

Very helpful staff! Went above and beyond for our last minute wedding program needs. I can't say anything negative about our experience here. I would definitely recommend! read more

Delroy was absolutely dynamite. So helpful, despite my indecision and numerous changes. He offered to amend a PDF which amazed me, caught a typo and gave me a great price on printing flyers. Tony M from the Copy Specialist is awesome! I needed a short run of comic books printed within the week and The Copy Specialist was recommended to me by an acquaintance on Twitter. They were very prompt with answering my inquiry email (which went ignored by the 3-4 other local print shops I sent one to) and were able to show me a physical proof within 24 hours after we discussed the print details. The final books were full color and looked fantastic. The price was a bit more than I had budgeted for the project, but the print quality and speed made up for it. I'll definitely be using their services again. read more
