I needed something printed last minute on a Sunday morning, and almost every FedEx Office location was closed until the afternoon. I found ABG Print on Yelp and headed to their location. Upon arriving at the address listed on Yelp and their website (which is a multi occupancy office building) - the doors were locked with a nondescript intercom system. I called them to try to figure out how to get in. Nobody picked up, but the message proclaimed that they were 'open and operating but couldn't get to the phone.' I wandered around a bit more and found the REAL entrance, located at 520 8th Avenue. I went to check in at the security desk as required, and was turned away by the security guard because apparently, they are appointment-only. That seems odd for a supposedly 24 hour establishment. I did not see this on the website, nor was it mentioned in their phone message. Long story short, wasted so much time going to this place, trying to get in, trying to get a hold of them, trying to get past security, and with nothing to show for it. Will not be trying this business again. read more

Absolutely recommend their services! I came in on a Friday morning for an urgent same day printing request, everything was done in 5 hours from walked in to I picked up the products. Manny and his team were super efficient and easy to work with! One thing to note that they only take business printing requests with high volume but not for retail, it's also an office in a business building but not a walk-in retail store, you'd have to make an appointment and show your ID to the doorman before you can get in. Good print vendors are not easy to find, even in NYC. I found ABG here on Yelp a year ago when I was a brand new EA at my PE firm and went out on a limb based on good reviews to recommend them as a new vendor (we needed a good overnight/last minute option). They have FAR exceeded expectations. They're always on time or early, they have handled all our requests with professionalism and good humor, and the staff is THE NICEST I've dealt with in a while. I once had to update the file a couple of hours after submitting, and they were so quick that they had already printed the documents - but graciously reprinted right away. Twice a year, Fashion Week takes place. Twice a year, I am in a frenzy trying to meet creative deadlines. Twice a year, I ask that we get a head start on the work to make these creative deadlines with time to spare. Twice a year, my stress levels sky rocket and reach new highs. Twice a year, I wonder why we didn't start earlier. And then I remember. My higher-ups believe time and space revolve around them. The concept of time is not known to them. NYC prices couldn't compare to the prices in Atlanta. We're saving money, they tell me, but guess what? Atlanta can't turn around print jobs fast enough. I was surprised to find that a). prices were generally lower or comparable to the printer we used in Atlanta and b). turn around time was generally 2-4 days, depending on the order. Some were even same day! When the printer I chose out of Brooklyn fell through, I thought, of course. It's Murphy's Law. Leave it to the last minute and hurdles are bound to appear. I'm based in San Francisco, and the event was in New York City -- and there is always some anxiety trusting a new company in a city where you won't get to see the final output. I called ABGPrint around 12:40AM on 1/21/20. The person on the phone claimed that he could not hear me over the phone. Per his request, I hung up and called multiple times to see if there was a connection problem. Prior to calling ABGPrint, I'd just made a phone call with no connection problems. On my end, the service representative's voice was crystal clear. He spoke in a dismissive, unapologetic tone. He interrupted me in the middle of my inquiry and claimed he could not hear me. He first asked me to call back in case there was a connection issue; he claimed he'd tried picking up from three different phones and that there was probably an issue with my phone. He then asked me to send him an email at clientservices@abgprint.com, an email which is not listed on the contact page for ABGPrint. When I asked him if there was a dot between "client" and "services" in the email address, he hesitated and said "what?"; after repeating the question, he responded that there was not. Clearly, he was able to hear me well enough to clarify an email address, but he claimed he could not hear me well enough to answer two simple questions on printing turnover and binding. This experience seems to conflict with the implications of the statement "Call us anytime, day or night" underneath the phone number on ABGPrint's website. I understand this person may not be representative of customer service at ABGPrint. I hope the owner of this business rectifies this issue, given that ABGPrint is in the top 5 24-hour printing services that come up on Google Maps. 1/21/20 between 2-3AM, 1-2 hours after I posted the first Yelp review: The same representative called me back. He stated that he was unable to hear me in the first call due to the quality of the office phones and that he was now calling me from his personal cell phone. He mentioned that he saw this Yelp review, stated he was sorry and he didn't know "[I] felt that way", and asked if there was anything that he could help me with. I stated that it was no problem, informed him that I had found another service, and wished him good night. To Dana: Thank you for your prompt message and voicemail. The printing job was completed by a different service. If I have another printing job, I will definitely consider ABGPrint again. Other reviews indicate that it is an excellent service. read more

Professional, expedient, and great service. I was looking for a print place that can do a rush job for 13 manuals spiral bound. Our regular place normally needs at least a day to do it. These guys did it under 3 hours for an almost comparable price. I worked with Manny, who was courteous, professional, and kind. Since we were literally across the street from them, he delivered the products in person, so he can visit our business and meet our founder. He didn't have to, but he did it for us. Instead of ABG, how 'bout change your name to "Save Your A## Printing with Great Service to Go" ... because that's way more accurate? I work for crazy people who obviously think that it's possible to host a major project involving hundreds of people, a CEO, some even more important people, with print materials for every step of the project needed at the last minute. By last minute, I mean TWO HOURS before this super-duper major project needed to be presented. Because of their craziness I had to not only produce design materials but also get this printed with my InDesign software not even being cold by the time I had to go to press. I did a "Hail Mary" online search for a rush-service printer and found these guys. And I can't tell you how grateful I was to get them. They answered the phone at 6:30pm and were sending emails at 9:30pm about the special cards I needed. They then answered the phone at 1:30pm the next day for another last-minute and delivered posters by 4:00pm. And all I got was super-pleasant attitude and great follow-up while behind me all the bombs were going off. And then I got great-looking materials even sooner than requested! I'd give them five stars if they'd just make their billing or payment process a little clearer. I do appreciate that they use PayPal because they want to ensure that their customers have safe financial transactions, but they should make it clear that payment is expected upon receipt of invoice before they can start a job. Otherwise I would've had my cards probably the same night. Okay, so maybe I should give them 4-1/2 stars. They are friggin' awesome. read more

"You're almost certainly right that it will make an impressive book," he said--but he wanted to see it, and we had only 24 hours to make the final decision. I called ABG at 2:30 that afternoon, uploaded our file, and the next morning FedEx delivered 100-page perfect-bound books to our three offices. Our art director couldn't believe I had found such a company. "How did you do this?" she asked. "They look like real books." The boss approved everything in about 10 seconds, but he made a subtle change in the type that we wouldn't have realized was needed if we hadn't done the mockups.
