Buyer beware! Terrible quality result. Poor customer service. They used to be reliable and give a decent result but not with my most recent order. They must be under new management or have new staff. My order result was terrible. I could not use it so I left it there. The graphic designer tried to blame me for the result and refused to help. He doesn't know what he is doing. No management was available to help. My calls requesting a refund have been unanswered, my messages have been ignored and no refund has been issued. I had to demand one through my bank. read more

MJ immediately began assisting me and that was followed up with assistance from the owner Frank. Their service was impeccable and the design was better than I had hoped for. I received the proof later that day, had a few minor changes on my end, and it was off to the races. At first, I only went to these guys because I happened to pass by them on the way to one of my offices. I went to them for business cards at that time but they kept wanting me to resize my design so I was a bit annoyed and decided to just order them online. But they did offer a fantastic price. Then around the same time, I went to a picture framing place that wanted me to pay something crazy to print out and frame 24"x36" prints of 6 photos of models I took to hang in my main office (like more than $1500 total). I thought that was really high so I decided to ask these guys to see if they could print them out. Not only was their price unbelievably less, they also printed it out on much more durable foamboard and it only took about 36 hours. AND they actually kept me informed the whole time via email. WOW. I just saved a lot of money thanks to these guys, and the results look AMAZING to the point I don't even want to frame them. I'm going to just hang them in the office as they are. We run a small but busy Brooklyn design studio and we have been using the same 2 print suppliers to support our business (with very mixed results) in New York for the last 4 years. Until now.... Squar-pix gets a good rating not because of a flawless experience, but because they understand the importance of doing business right. We hit some proverbial road bumps in dealing with them, but in the end Frank worked it out with us and that earned him a good recommendation. MY fiance and I went there to have our wedding invitations printed up after trying two other print shops that were very unwilling to even help us choose a paper. Frank was helpful and informative when we first met, and that is why we followed through with our order at Squar-pix. Unfortunately, through the process of getting the cards printed, some mistakes were made, things got delayed, costs shifted and our expectations quickly went downhill. We were very frustrated with how our experience was going, and became concerned we were being taken advantage of. However, after I expressed our frustration to Frank, he responded quickly and did the right thing by us, renegotiating the cost and making sure we left happy. He kept his composure, did not get angry (despite our visible frustration), and all of that went a long way toward bettering our relationship and ending the job on a high note. In the end, after some disagreements and delays, we got a product we were satisfied with and a cost that was reasonable. Dealing with such a situation gracefully is a difficult thing to do, but is a a sure sign of someone that is worth working with again. It's one thing to claim you never make mistakes, its another thing to know how to make things right when you do. Ordered prints online to be picked up in their Staten Island location, since home shipping was ridiculously high for 2 18x24 prints. the order said it would arrive by Friday, come Friday I received no updates about my order, so I called and after giving my order number and speaking with three different people they said my order would arrive by Monday since it was still in Brooklyn. I used to print large prints at my local costco which did them cheaper and over night, but the Staten Island location does not have photo lab service anymore. Had to take a trip all the way to Brooklyn to get my prints since I had told my client they would be ready Friday. I must say the quality of the print is great, but service and price overall is lacking. read more

After emailing a few different places I was able to go through to Frank at Squar-pix even though it was almost 7 pm! Frank was very easy to work with, I told him my prints were ready to go with bleeds and everything. He suggested paper options and I agreed with him. In pretty much two days I was able to get a set of 4 different prints for my wedding invitation package in great color and quality! There was a slight hiccup in the middle where they got the sizes on one of my cards wrong but before printing they sent me a proof to review and I pointed out the mistake which they promptly fixed, and sent another proof my way. It seems like they have a great variety of printing options so I'm officially switching my go-to print-jobbers to Squar-Pix!
