I came in on a blustery, rainy day. I originally was going to go to Starbucks to meet a friend, but they were closed due to the severe weather. As I waited for my friend, I glanced at the menu, and the turkey and cheese sandwich stood out. I ordered the sandwich, and the employee took his time, toasting the bread and crafting a perfect looking sandwich. After he carefully wrapped it, he placed it in the bag and put napkins in there- which I really appreciate because some restaurants have the habit of never placing a single napkin inside and you mistakenly assume there are napkins in there. Anyway, I decided to enjoy my sandwich by the window as I watched the rain come down. As I waited for my friend, I enjoyed this delicious sandwich for a good price. My friend arrived, and I convinced her to get a sandwich which she agreed to because she hadn't eaten lunch. We both enjoyed those sandwiches and then we both bought a cup of noodles. And then I ordered a dozen donut holes. It was a wonderful conversation, wonderful meal, and wonderful service. There were many people that came in and out of the restaurant on that cold day. I am coming back.

Come here for your donut and bagel needs! They have a wide selection of donuts and your typical plain, jalapeño and cheese, and everything bagel that are decently sized and fluffy and good. Not chewy or hard like other places. The cream cheese requested along with it is creamy and delicious. Their ham and cheese croissant are a quick grab to go sandwich for a meal. They carry a vast array of donuts and are decently priced especially if ordering for a group. The staff is kind, nice and accommodating.

Every time come in at 6 am the older lady never greets me yet greets everyone else she over charges for drinks all of them are a large coffee falste advertisement. She serves others before me even though i had already been there first and waiting. Today on july 14 at 5:57am she didnt have much ready i asked for a dozen donuts she pretended not to hear me then she kept asking me which one and saud she couldnt hear me or see what i was pointing at then she just laughed and said she goin to refuse service little does she no i just worked all night and the donuts i was buying were to donate to some less fortunate people sitting out in the cold with no home

Spudnuts is one of my favorite donut spots in Santa Barbara. I always get great customer service and they offer a good variety of fresh donuts, from classic favorites to hot, new trendy pastries. This location is conveniently (for me!) located downtown and has a small area with tables if you want to enjoy your donuts there. I like strolling around State on an early Saturday before the crowds arrive.

Great donuts, 24-7. What can I say! Also have pretty good sandwiches and bagels. Definately the spot to go if you've got a craving at 3am!

The young lady up front was very welcoming and provided amazing service! This place has been so popular on social media and they are known for their matcha specials. If you follow them on instagram they post their daily specials and provide great updates of their inventory and wait times (a genius idea may I add). My personal favorites were the matcha einspanner and their strawberry matcha latte. For mochi donuts I especially enjoyed their lemon blueberry ricotta and brown butter turon specials. Inside they have nice seating and some stools but it gets very busy so the seating area can fill up. They also provide umbrellas if there is a long line and a hot sun outside. I highly recommend this place so be sure to check it out!

They have a good selection of doughnuts all unique flavors. The coffee is really good. The server for my coffee wrong but I ended up not correcting it because it was very good. I ordered the special salted caramel brown sugar but for the salted caramel instead. I wanted to go back to order another coffee. My first bite of the cream cheese everything doughnut I was disappointed. But as I ate it more there was more cream cheese which I enjoyed. Sour: we ordered other doughnuts as well. We were pretty full all day so we didn't get to try the others till the next day. I'm guessing we should have forced ourselves to eat it the same day. The flavors were good. We ordered brown butter, carrot cake and pistachio lemon. By day 3 they were completely bad and very hard. The everything doughnut is not consistent in the amount of cream cheese inside. The one I had next day was not as filled as the first one I had. We ordered some doughnut holes as well and the glazed was melting. If I'm ever back in town I'll go for the coffee for sure and order 1 doughnut so I can have it fresh.

Perfect Valentine's Day Breakfast Stop…read more Every time I'm driving into Los Angeles, I stop on State Street to charge my car -- and today (February 14th ) we decided to grab breakfast while we waited. Best decision ever. We stumbled upon this adorable donut shop, and they had the cutest Valentine's-themed donuts decorated for the day. My daughter immediately chose the chocolate one. I honestly didn't think she'd love it... but she ate the entire thing without hesitation. That says everything. Of course, I grabbed some donut holes for the road -- because that's just tradition at this point -- but the real star? The bagel sandwich. I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg, crispy bacon, tomato, red onion, and (because why not?) extra cheddar. It was DIVINE. Hands down the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. Perfectly toasted, flavorful, just the right kick from the jalapeño cheddar -- I'm still thinking about it hours later. I may have to stop again on the way home because I genuinely can't get that taste out of my mind. If you're passing through State Street, do yourself a favor and try this place. Absolute gem.

Everything is high quality and fresh for reasonable prices. Charming, cozy decor with Danish accents. Service is also excellent and warm. Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce - Light, buttery flaky crust, light, fluffy eggs. Absolutely delightful, leeks provided good texture. Came with a strip of bacon. Was so amazing hardly ate the sauce. Don't think you can sub salad for fries but no worries, as the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Many places offer breakfast potatoes but something seemingly simple is actually hard to make well. My friend's Bratwurst Sausage with Eggs, her favorite, was hearty and filling. A lot of indoor seating but we enjoyed our table outside, watching pedestrians on State St. and enjoying the beautiful scenery and architecture. We expected to wait to be seated but surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Order at counter and the food is brought to your table. As we waited, employee kindly gave us two free pastry samples, both delicious. All the baked goods I got to go I want again. Their scones are fabulous-slightly crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Their tea service which comes with champagne is pricey, I believe $75 per person. But interior is a perfect colorful and relaxed setting for tea. My tastebuds dream of coming back. Will be thrilled when I next indulge on their pastries and quiche.

SCORE 0 HEALTH HAZARD 10…read more This is our third time we've had issues with the staff. Today is our last time going here. There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.
