I hired them to remove wallpaper and paint earlier this summer, and they completed the project on time and on budget (plus, their pricing was the most competitive of all the quotes I got). TLDR: In my first apartment, I found Jon on Yelp and had him come in to provide an estimate for my walls and ceilings with beams. When he painted my ceiling, the work was good but the colors were swapped (I wanted beams to be white and the ceiling to be light grey). To be fair, there was a delay in my flooring work so I had to push back his dates and there were multiple paint colors I wanted in my apartment. In any case, he came immediately the next day and fixed it beautifully with no extra charge. Great client service! FIVE years later... I am moving into a new 1 bedroom apartment where I extended a bedroom closet and also had to shift the bedroom door to accommodate. The contractor finished the job very sloppily where there where baseboards glued together in multiple pieces and large holes in the bedroom wall. I honestly thought it would never look good again and stressed about the resale value of my home. I remembered Jon and called him in. He gave me an estimate the next morning (which was 50% less than what I was quoted from another painter). His team came in and did the job, patched a ton of wholes and painted within 3 days. They offered to come back and do any needed touch ups that might be required (there were none) and that was an added level of security in the quality of their job. I moved into a 1000 sq ft loft in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn and had them paint all walls, ceilings, a wooden window sill, metal door frames and large metal a/c unit. Everything was properly prepped for painting and I have had zero issues with the end product. I had a friend there when the painting was being done and he is meticulous and so when the work was happening, he pointed out a couple very minor items and they immediately made it right. Jonathan gave me one of the most reasonable quotes out of the many that I got. When he came to do the estimate he told me that it would be a certain amount, but after his team came to do the paint job they lowered it significantly because my walls ended up not needing multiple coats. I appreciated the honesty and price drop. He was easy to communicate with and was able to shift my appointment when an earlier spot opened up. There are a few drip spots on the walls and some of the bottom of the brick wall was not done fully to satisfaction, but overall they did a great job. I would definitely use him again. read more
