We had brunch here before heading out of on a family cruise. Everything was on point. The service top notch, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. There were 6 of us and we all had something different. Everything was great. I highly recommend.

Decided to dine at the Spruce Café because it was inside the Paramount Hotel, where we were staying. It wasn't my first choice because of the food offerings but rather the convenience. I tried the smoked salmon frittata and it was bug! Huge portion of eggs and seriously generous portion of smoked salmon on top! Aside from the eggs being a little bit undercooked and watery, it tasted delicious and I was very satisfied with my selection. I opted for the side salad instead of potatoes and the greens came completely undressed. I ended up just mixing theminto the frittata and it was good but I do recommend providing some sort of dressing or topping so that the greens are not as dry.

Randomly found this little gem passing by! What a cute little place. Loved the ambiance- very sweet, local, friendly and authentic. Super nice and welcoming personnel, which brings in the homey and sweet vibes and make experience super relaxed and enjoyable. A lot of cool food options you can choose from. Loved the food- "smoked salmon Benedict" is something, and this place have at least 3 options of those!!! With ham or with the fish(salmon), you can definitely find something. Overall everything was delicious and super pretty. Great side of potatoes, could eat them for days! Also, coffees were especially cool. Great cup to start a day. Initially we came in only for those, but everything looked so tasty and smelled so good, that we stayed for a whole meal! Definitely advising this place to everyone!!!!!! It's pretty light and nice atmosphere, and luckily for us had empty spots when we walked in. Prices are affordable and environment is cute. Portions are good for sharing)

Chicken & Waffle (with two eggs)

I'd intended to walk down to Ludi's but didn't feel like it so I tried the Spruce Café in the hotel. I ended up ordering one of my favorite dishes ... Chicken and Waffle ($21) and coffee ($4.75). This was a very interesting take on this dish ... the chicken came as a string of six pieces of battered, fried chicken sitting on two (easy over) eggs, atop a Belgian-style waffle. A dusting of powdered sugar over the chicken and a small container of maple syrup completed the dish. I asked my server to request the kitchen make the waffle extra crispy as the heat from the chicken and eggs softens the middle of the waffle. Alas, it didn't come that way so I scarfed down the chicken and eggs so I could eat a somewhat crispy waffle. My meal was okay but could have been better. $34.41, including 20% tip and credit card surcharge.

Cute spot located just a couple blocks from our hotel. Tried the pancakes after reading the reviews. Stack of three with berries and mascarpone. Really good and I finished everything on my plate. Good strong drip coffee too. Restaurant was busy and we had to wait for a table. There is a cute little area with overstuffed chairs at the entrance to wait.

The service here is quick and friendly. The bathroom is on a different floor of the hotel. The food I felt was well priced for the portions you get. I got the smoked salmon omelet was so good. I also got a chai latte. My friend got a biscuit latte and the smoked salmon Benedict. Both of us really enjoyed our food. 4 stars only cause the drinks were so hot you couldn't touch them for a bit and the bathroom being hard to get to.

Cute little cafe inside the hotel. The buttermilk pancakes are to die for. They were mouth watering and cooked to perfection, I ordered mine without the mascarpone. The Bischoff Latte was good, but a bit too sweet for my liking. Our waiter Juan was amazing! Really welcoming, friendly and provided us with some tips and recommendations while visiting Seattle. Overall nice experience and great service in a well maintained and clean environment.

In town for a conference from Dallas and have been searching for a yummy, reasonably priced breakfast spot and I am so glad I found Spruce Cafe!! They open at 7am everyday and are located in the Paramount Hotel just steps from the convention center. Real deal espresso and yummy flavored espresso drinks (I got a PSL in APRIL y'all!), and great food. A huge bowl of fresh fruit for $6, incredibly delicious Greek yogurt for $4, and the most delicious honey I've ever had IN MY LIFE. Service was good, especially considering they got pretty busy after I got there. The cafe itself is super cute with a clean atheistic. Love it. My only suggestion is whomever is making their sourdough bread needs to add more salt to the dough but, the sourdough flavor itself was great - very tangy!

I stopped in for breakfast during my visit to Seattle and was promptly greeted and seated by a nice server. My breakfast sandwich with potatoes was brought out within 10 minutes and was delicious. I also had a vanilla latte which was perfect. Loved the quiet seating area with a nice window view. I really enjoyed Spruce Cafe.

Spruce Coffee Shop is super convenient for us, located inside the Paramount Hotel. We connected to the Wi-Fi and had breakfast and coffee while getting some work done. I had the waffle with sugar butter and syrup, hit the spot. The cup of fruit was fresh. I also had a white mocha, which was tasty and gave me the kick I needed. Overall, I'd give it a 3 out of 5. Service was average at best, felt rushed to order. While the location is convenient and the food hit the spot, it was just okay, nothing to really rave about.

Spruce Cafe, located inside the Paramount Hotel, is a fantastic spot for breakfast. It is convenient if you're staying at the hotel. Quick and friendly services. Great vibes. We ordered the waffles, a fresh fruit bowl, and a white mocha, all of which were delicious. The waffles were fluffy, the fruit was fresh, and the white mocha was a great pick-me-up. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Or if you just want to get some work done.

This restaurant is not going to be a breakfast destination, but it is a very passable breakfast option if you don't want to stray too far from the hotel it is located in

The Spruce Cafe is on the ground floor of the Paramount Hotel, and a block away from the Camlin, where we were staying. When this location was The Dragonfish, we ate breakfast regularly, so we decided to give the new incarnation a try, and are glad we did. The service was friendly and efficient, the Bloody Mary was tasty, and we enjoyed our brunch. My wife had the french toast, which was gorgeous and huge and, according to her, very good. My classic eggs Benedict was nicely done, with lots of basically seasoned (good by me) fried potatoes. When we return to the Camlin, we will breakfast here again.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged.
