February 21st is National Caregiver Day. In my household, 2 people are caregivers and one person is who we take care of. This year, National Caregiver Day fell on a Friday . I decided to treat myself, the other caregiver, and my mom (the person we take care of), with donuts! I have heard many good things about Sprinkle and finally got a chance to try it! I ordered through GrubHub. I chose a half dozen and let the store pick which donuts we get. I figured they could surprise me, and they did! I got 7 donuts ! And the variety was great (see photo). We each got 2, mom got 3. I had the twist and fruity pebble. I absolutely LOVED this twist! I usually don't get those because they aren't good. But Sprinkle Donuts made me a fan! They make them fluffy! And the fruity pebbles wasn't too sweet! It tasted like a bowl of cereal AND a donut! I was told the other donuts were great, as well! This is definitely one of my favorite dessert places!

Amazing service! It's the neighborhood donut shop that you want near you! I was immediately impressed that the employees knew the customers ahead of me and behind me by name and their usual orders. I was greeted by the young lady at the counter upon arrival and I expressed a food allergy to her and both employees offered me their options that they were sure had no cross contamination. The one item I did get that had contact with the food allergen was bagged separately for safety. I ordered a jalapeño kolache for myself and was given condiments to go. I so appreciate this visit. It was a hectic weekend for my family and I'm looking forward to visiting this cute shop again in the near future. You'll never get this service at Doughboys. Who doesn't love a good sprinkle donut?! My kids appreciated their sweet treats! I stole a bite of my son's fruity pebble donut. Thank you both for the great service.

If you are in downtown Reno and are looking for a great donut place, stop by Sprinkle donuts. This is a local place that makes their donuts every day from scratch!!! The servers are friendly, professional and proficient. The ambiance of cute and colorful. There is plenty of parking available. The store is located downtown near the freeway exits.

I drive by this donut shop almost everyday, and always with the intention of trying them. Until one day of my co workers brought some donuts in for us to try. We all got hooked on the donuts and we now have them at least every other Friday. When I went into the shop I was instantly greeted my staff or possibly the owner I wasn't sure since I didn't ask. I need to make it a point to get her name since she's so friendly and always has the best recommendations. I usually end up getting an assorted dozen and a dozen donut holes as well. They also have a few specialty donuts to choose from like a maple bacon bar and ham and cheese croissant sandwiches that they can warm up for you. The few times I have gone in I have never felt rushed to get something and the staff takes their time to interact with the customers and have had great customer service every single time. I definitely recommend giving them a try, they have 2 locations. One off keystone and fifth and the other by Mira Lima in the shopping center where the pink Scolaris used to be.

This location has been on my way to work for the past few years, and I'd frequently stop inside and pick up a dozen or so donuts for my coworkers and I. The doughnuts are nice and fresh, but what puts this place above all other donut shops in Reno is the customer service. I would typically see the same worker most mornings, and not only were they attentive and kind, but even noticed when I switched jobs and went from coming in scrubs to business clothes. For something like donuts where there isn't too much to stand apart from, the happiness and kindness starting my day makes a huge difference.

I've been wanting to try this place but have always put it off telling myself I shouldn't eat donuts. But I also would avoid it due to it not being located in the best spot off keystone where quite a few homeless tend to hang out. I finally got to try it when my coworker brought a box of donuts to work. They have all the standard variety of donuts which is a lot! I ended up trying a sugar raised donut and not only does it have sugar on it but it also has cinnamon! I haven't found another donut shop that does that and it honestly makes a difference! I can't wait to try the others.

The best coffee , best donuts and best service around! I love the close nit connection to the community you feel when you come in. Feels like you're coming in to a friend's house every time in every way. The smell of fresh donuts and coffee is always a great thing to set the mood for a magical day.

Tiny place with 3 small tables, and not the greatest location, parking wise. However, donuts were great (kid approved!), very cheap and tasty. The shop is small, clean and very cute. At 10am on Saturday they were mostly sold out but my kids were still able to get sprinkles, chocolate bars and donut holes. I also got a pastry wrapped sausage w cheese, as more of a savory item. Delicious. We got 4 donuts, a dozen donut holes, the sausage roll, a Gatorade and 2 sodas for $15. Great bargain and the staff was super nice too

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a happy employee she has very good customer service that alone will make me return. There's a lot of different donuts red velvet, old fashioned, 3 different flavors of donuts holes (just to name a few) you can choose from they even have breakfast croissants. As soon as we got in the car we started eating them lol. So good.

We ordered the BBQ Pork Buns, Minced Pork Dumplings, and Sui Mai. We took everything home and steamed it ourselves. I also picked up a Napoleon pastry from the bakery case. The BBQ Pork Bun was good with nice flavor. I would order it again, especially since I don't know of many other places in Reno where I can get one of my favorite dim sum items. The Minced Pork Dumplings, however, were not for us. I believe the flavor of the Chinese leek may have been what turned us off. As for the Napoleon, it wasn't very sweet or particularly flavorful, and it made quite a mess to eat. Not something I'd reorder. The Sui Mai was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. This was the winner of our take home feast. While not everything was a hit for us, we'd return for the Sui Mai and BBQ Pork Buns and other explore some other items that we have yet to try.

That said I do want to share one honest observation. On top of premium pricing, which I'm happy to pay for quality, Perenn also charges subscribers for their Substack newsletter. For an independent bakery scraping by, that makes complete sense. For a thriving six-location restaurant group with real momentum and expansion capital, it feels like a bridge too far. I can't say I've ever met one I didn't like. Heck, even the 1/2-priced day-olds have a place in my heart. Have you ever put a donut in the microwave for 20 seconds? Today, a volunteer was needed to pick up a dozen donuts for a meeting. I said, "You buy, I fly," and off I went. It's 8:45am, not too busy, and customer service is spot on. The display cases are full of beautiful sprinkles and glaze and peanuts and bacon... yup, I was eye-balling that Maple & Bacon! I requested a mixed dozen. Then I saw it... the sign read "Sausage, Jalapeno and Cheese kolache." Ooooh goodness gracious, it was the biggest kolache I'd ever seen. And Id never seen one in Reno or Sparks. They do grow things bigger in TX. I know cuz I lived in Deep East TX. But this is Sparks, NV, and I want to try this. I've eaten a kolache or 2 or 500 in my day. He even offered to warm it up before I asked. I wanted this to be good, no I wanted it yo great. To be the "Whete have you been since I moved back to NV?" it wasn't. I was disappointed. The amount of filling to bread ratio was way off, in my opinion. I expected a sausage, not 6-8 sausage "coins" wrapped in a 7" x 5" dough package. It was soft, and the color was so inviting. It looked like it was gonna be amazing. If you've never tried one, do try Donut Bistro's kolache... It's a soft, warm, savory option. Just make sure to also ask for the Maple & Bacon, cuz that one doesn't miss a point!

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us.
