I was excited to try this place and really wanted to like them for different reasons.i do uber and drive by them alot so ive always been curious. Then i Saw a tiktok about them. They looked good and the owners are a little cute older couple.. My favorite donut is Boston Cream even with other donut shops. Unfortunately with their Boston Cream donut, the filling is kind of sour. Not sure if it has a mix of something else or that's really their filling flavor. I bought twice at different days and it taste the same, sour. But with their other ones, I would say they're really good! It's just my favorite of all that doesn't seem to satisfy my taste that's why I give 3 stars. But if I try again another day and I'll get the Boston cream taste that I like, I'll then change my rating. All in all, I still like their donuts. The shop is not in the best of areas, but as a kid who grew up in some pretty seedy places in Southern California, this feels like home. My husband and I walked in to this little shop with a few different donuts on display (it was 4pm). They had both of our favorites, chocolate bar for me, apple fritter for him, so the universe was in alignment. We only ordered two, we were thinking it's our first time, maybe these donuts are not so fresh at 4 in the afternoon BUT we were WRONG! Dead wrong! The man who helped us gave us a free glazed donut with our purchase and we inhaled that thing before we even left the parking lot! It was so fresh, perfectly doughy, not too sweet, didn't taste like burned oil, didn't taste like a sourdough bread, oh my gosh, it's how donuts are supposed to be!
